Houston vs Miami about to kickoff .. I'd think Houston wins with Osweiller playing for the Phins
Google lists Terry Bradshaw at 6’3”, if that’s true then Howie Long is 6’10”.
The refs are already screwing this game up and we’ve only had one play.
Goodness! These refs are brutal.
wow, refs just handed the dolphins 7 points. what a BS flag
I am not rooting for Houston, but how the heck was that a penalty for hitting the center in the head? They just gave Miami a TD.
Refs strike again. Another bad call on a field goal, giving Miami a TD. Wow, these refs really suck.
Time to keep firing refs until they all get the message
Watson should be ashamed for that Tide ad.
j/c:
I think that is a forward pass.
The cry to improve NFL officiating is only going to escalate.
Seems to be a recurring problem in professional sports.
Refs think the fans came to see them and not the players.
OMG....Bill O'Brian just passed up a FG and went for it on 4th down. Fire him!
What is up w/these refs? They just took away a magnificent catch by Hopkins by a BS call.
I'm at a loss this year. I've never seen this level of incompetence from officials in any sport. Game-changing bad calls, over and over. Taking away that catch from Hopkins qualifies as a criminal offense.
What in the world is going on???
Fun game to watch. Watson is a freak. His biggest weapon in the pocket is his threat of speed. He can slow-play a flush out because defenders are afraid to get smoked. They play contain, on their heels, rather than coming after him. Extending plays with receivers changing direction to beat a defense is demeaning. It's mentally and physically exhausting.
I was shocked when I heard Gore is 4th place all-time rushing. I had no idea he was over 14000 yards.
It seems to me like Houston's offense is beginning to get back to form. Dangerous team.
Time to keep firing refs until they all get the message
Time for them to proclaim that REFs must be a full time job and that all they do during the week is prepare themselves for the game as a crew and as individuals...TIME FOR THEM TO ACTUALLY BECOME PROFESSIONALS...this is not 1948 its 70 years later time for these guys to become FULL TIME professional Refs! Can they get better, they actually could become great ummm practice makes perfect! Hey put in a 40 hour week at least for that 6 figure salary!
Was nice to see Devante Parker have a nice game...
Just think out of that RB class of 2012 (trent Richardson year) Lamar Miller is like the only one that ever established himself
Parker either will have to step up for Miami ... or was showcased for a new team
Parker either will have to step up for Miami ... or was showcased for a new team
If so can only mean us...I think Dallas picked up one, if I recollect...these week so much going on for me everything is in a fog!

Four Jaguars players reportedly tried to skip out on $64,000 bar tab
Posted by Mike Florio on October 28, 2018, 8:07 AM EDT
While the names of the four Jaguars players who were detained early Sunday (London time) after an incident at a London bar still haven’t been confirmed, more details are emerging.
Per multiple reports, the players allegedly tried to leave without paying a $64,000 bar tab.
Via BBC.com, the London Metropolitan Police issued a statement confirming the arrest, and confirming that the players were released.
“Officers attended and spoke with a group of males who had allegedly been attempting to leave the venue without paying a large bill,” the authorities said. “Four men aged in their twenties were subsequently arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation and taken to a central London police station for questioning. They were all subsequently released with no further action.”
Apparently, the players were released after the money was paid.
Apart from the fact that the players tried to purchase (and presumably consume) $64,000 worth of alcohol without paying for it, the Jaguars should be troubled by the fact that at least four of the team’s players were out at 4:00 a.m. local time drinking up to $64,000 worth of alcohol the night before a game.
Given the discipline and accountability that coach Doug Marrone and executive V.P. of football operations Tom Coughlin instilled in the organization last year, the latest escapade involving the Jaguars becomes a microcosm of a team that suddenly doesn’t look like the squad coached by Marrone and crafted by Coughlin a year ago.
In other words, it may be a good idea to take the Eagles and give the points.

Now there is a good look for the NFL as they try to promote their product overseas.
Jaguars SS Barry Church was one of four players arrested early Saturday morning over a bill dispute at the Reign Showclub in London.
Ronnie Harrison, DJ Hayden and Gerard Wilson were also named in the report. The players allegedly skipped out on paying a $40,000 bar tab. Charges were eventually dropped, but it's not a good look the night before a game. Church and Harrison are the only starters of the group and could face team-imposed discipline. It's a potential downgrade to Jacksonville's secondary.

We will know who the 4 are by watching who’s blowing chunks between plays on the field.
I wonder if they split 8-10 bottles of Dom between themselves, or were just buying rounds for the bar. If it was the latter, the NFL could always call it "community outreach".
The sides oh yeah we ordered the sides

4th quarter just started.

If that was a hit to the head on Bortles, what was it on Baker?
Eagles win. Jags spiral continues
Looking for Entitlements ...
Carolina killing Baltimore
Fitzpatrick came in and changed the game for the Bucs. Jameis had four INTs, including one pick six.
Aaron Rodgers is so much fun.
Rosen easily has the worst talent to work with of all rookie QB's.
He looks really bad too.
I'm surprised. Thought he was the best of the QBs coming out.
TOugh sledding for rookies lately
boy, for being in LA, looking at the crowd, you'd think it was a home game for Green bay.
the worse way to lose a game.
fumble on a kick off.
smart, smart, smart move by gurley.
could've had an easy TD, but laid down to run out the clock.

The over/under on the game was 57 points. Anyone that had the over (me) saw the wide open TD and started celebrating covering the over. When he pulled up and stopped, I imagine a bunch of tv remotes went flying across rooms all over America. Lol

I should still win, but I wasn't thrilled for my fantasy team.
Gotta love California fans. They have the best team in the NFL and it sounded like a home game for Green Bay.
Gurley killed both the spread and O/U LOL

If he scores and they make the PAT they are up nine. Win either way.

Should have never run it out.. had 2:05 on the clock... you get Rodgers an extra play by not running it out because of the two min warning... and you have Aaron friggin Rodgers on your team... you don't run thwt thing out... you get the ball to Rodgers... was really stupid...
Despite perhaps the worst OL in football and very few weapons at receiver, Josh Rosen somehow led his team down the field to two late TDs to win the game.
Man, Adam Thielen is a great WR.
Dude was undrafted and he has 8 straight 100 plus yards games in a row!
What if they miss the extra point.
I would take Fitz, Kirk, and DJ over anybody on the Browns Offense.
What if they miss the extra point.
Then the Packers still need to drive the field and get a two point conversion.
Not like Rodgers has not done that before.
Gurley did the smart thing. You must have had him in Fantasy.

I was actually going against him!
I think either was fine.
How about that game winning TD throw by Rosen? Wow.
Rosen killed me in fantasy ... props to him on the win in the last minute
Sources: The #Patriots are disciplining WR Josh Gordon during tonight’s game vs. the #Bills because of tardiness. He’s expected to be kept off the field for several series — about a quarter — as they continue to work with & manage him. It’ll be regular playing time after that.

Daboll's early play-calling has been amazing. LOL.........that was great.
Oh........and he is another coach the fans and media ran out of town.
Josh not sitting out.
FYI I hope DA lights it up. The dude put up with a lot of crap from us as fans. So far hes missed two big plays though both overthrows. But man, can the guy still sling a ball with some ZIP! Just dont know where its going. lol
Gavin Rossdale, I love you and want to have your babies.
We got a barn burner going on!
Is it me, or is MNF the worst broadcast of the week?
Ok, im going to bed. Snoop just had an ED commercial......night
Dude makes dumb mistakes, but man, no one throws a prettier ball than DA.
I was out with some friends tonight ... told them exactly what u just said ... he throws such a pretty ball ... he also has such a quick, effortless motion ... its really buetiful to watch ...
Who is daboll OC for? ...
Can we trade TT back to Buffalo for DA?

Picksixderson? No thanks.
It seems to me like MNF always has the boring matchups of any "window" .. certainly not like it used to be

It needs Howard Cosell.
Someone needs to create the Six Million Dollar Cosell.
We can build him
We have the technology
We have the capability to make the worlds first electronic sportscaster.

Daboll is the OC for the Bills. I actually thought he was good for us as a coach. He got a lot of WINS...ahem from a 3rd round rookie McCoy and a Steroid induced runner. But it was he who made the play with both OT's split out wide against the Bengals and then we threw a TD pass to Royal a guy who couldn't catch a cold. With this formation.
Against the Bengals who liked what they saw and continued to use it with Hue there and then back here but we just showed it and never ran anything from it.
Also it was Daboll who impressed my by placing Northcutt as a RB in a goal to go situation and executed a nice TD run from it. We had no Talent and lets not forget our 4 wins at the end of the season under Daboll! Run, run, run.
I Liked him a lot.
Mangini, the best chance we had at Brilliance from our HC. Then the Holmgren era threw that baby away, never to see Mangini back as HC.
So question is who is our OC and play caller!
Yes, I thought Diam was asking "who was daboll oc for" while he was in Cleveland.
there have been three coaches I thought we should have kept longer than we did. Mangini, Chud, and dare I say Romeo.
Kitchens is going to call the plays from all reports.
So question is who is our OC and play caller!
RB coach Freddie Kitchen, who I think is a heck of a coach.
He helped rebuild Carson Palmer in Arizona. He is also the guy who called plays in the 4th preseason game this year. I am really looking forward to seeing how he designs a gameplan, because I think he's a really bright guy.

I know people will just brush it off because it was a preseason game, but he designed and called a great game. The game started and a sideline reporter told of how Haley likes to give another offensive coach a chance to call a game in game four. I thought, "well that's weird". By halftime I was thinking "man, Haley, you may have just found your replacement". Looks like he did lol.
Some people just have the knack for keeping a defense "guessing". In a very small sample size, in a game that meant nothing, I saw that in Kitchens. Great balance between run and pass. Heavy dose of quick screens and plays that made things easy for Baker to do what he does best.
Excited to see how this plays out, sucks that we have to start against a team that scores so fast they short-circuit the scoreboard.
Bro, you are smarter than that.
On the positive side, he already knows how to work the headset.
It's not a smart thing. Common sense would tell you I'm wrong. Every week in this league, common sense goes out the window. I won't waste time trying to exact the perfect recipe for success offensively. Obviously it begins with talent, continues with execution... beyond that there is the flow of play-calling. Every week in this league, very good defenses get beat. A key part of beating a defense is NOT being predictable. Pittsburgh definitely knew what we were doing, play after play, last Sunday. Heck, I knew it too...
Run, run, third down - guess what we're doing?
Run, run, third down - guess what we're doing?
My wife was getting annoyed because I kept saying it out loud. I started predicting every play - and was right most of the time.
I remember, after getting a run stuffed on 1st down in the redzone, I yelled at the TV. "Maybe try passing on second down for a change!" What do we do?? Come out with an empty backfield. Can't make this stuff up - the first time we deviate, in any way, from the tired script, we TELL THEM exactly what we're doing.
When you see an OC in a groove, you know it... I call it "paper-scissors-rock" offense. The defense plays on it's heels. Granted, part of this is the tail wagging the dog, ie... no playcalling is great if the players don't execute, and players executing can make an OC look like a genius, but the fact is, predictability is the #1 enemy of offensive success. At least on teams that aren't elite.
Haley, last Sunday, was as or more predictable as any game I've seen in a while. No way Kitchens could do worse if he called that game.
