Even I can see that Lamar's biggest runs last week, and again tonight, are between DE & DT. They use motion to draw the LB/S behind that side to the opposite side, then they let the DE get upfield, which creates a GIGANTIC gap that Lamar just skates through Every. Damn. Time.

Our offense is pretty good but our defense is just plain slow. I think more than any other quality we need to improve is speed on defense. We’re slow to react, slow to close, just slow and this kind of quick offense will have our lunch at will

Our D isn't good enough for the playoffs.

There was two players up top (safety) whom ram into each other on the Marquis Brown TD

If we could have just stopped Lamar

He could have easily picked up the first down if he wanted. That play was blown when the entire blitz went to the right. How can you do that against Lamar Jackson?

Just imagine how POed Baker, Chubb, Hunt, and the rest of the offense must be with the defense. The most points given up by the Ravens all season was 34 against the Chiefs and 30 against the Titans.

Baker and the offense put up 42.

The Ravens haven't given up over 40 points since 2017.

So the bright side of this game...the offensive performance, particularly by Baker Mayfield. It was a loss, but, you have to feel good about his performance.

brought us back in the second half from a 14 point deficit, led us to a quick score (too quick) with 1:30 remaining.

The secondary? How about the linebackers and dline constantly losing containment? The entire defense would constantly get sucked onto one side of the field. Typically the side opposite of where Lamar had the ball. This is either on Woods or the front 7 blowing their assignments. It looked like scheme, so I am guessing Woods, but it is hard to tell.

Seriously! I'm frustrated because that was a very winnable game... but excited because we just played a hell of a game that has playoff implications in Dec! And we still have the playoffs in our control if we win our next three games!
