WTH is up with Higgins?
Is he in the dog house?

We had regular Higgins sightings in every game last year, it seems. This year, he's The Invisible Man.

Any one know the story?

Yeah I'm not understanding this at all. Of all our receivers Landry and Higgins seem to have the most chemistry with Baker.

DPJ taking his reps? I know that unless he's injured, he would be better than the practice squad guy (Ja'Marcus Bradley) they ran out last week. And is Schwartz still down with a concussion?

Bradley passed Higgins in the rotation...

(rolleyes) Apparently these coaches don't watch GAME TAPE. Higgins is a gamer AND Baker's safety blanket.

EDIT: depth chart has Higgins behind DPJ on one side in second and last position, while Ja'Marcus Bradley is on the other behind Schwartz in the third and final position.

I think I read that Higgins liked OBJ's Dad's instagram post.

I haven't really questioned much of this regime's decisions. For the most part, I've been relieved to see basic competence, given this team's history.

This one, I truly do not get.

I like Hollywood, but here's his last 5 games:

1 rec, 17 yards
0 rec, 0 yards
2 rec, 27 yards
1 rec, -2 yards
0 rec, 0 yards

To add: Last week Bradley played 13 snaps on ST, Higgins does not play on ST.

This is the 3rd coaching staff that's pretty much shelved Higgins despite him having performed for them. He must really know how to get under a coaches skin or something.

I think the current operative word would be 'was', though like everyone else Im at a loss as to why.

Great play by Ward!

I too think "was" is the operative word. The previous week against the Lions, Higgins was in for 53 plays which was 72% of the offensive plays. He had one catch for 17 yards on five targets.

By contrast Bradley was in for 55 plays which was 74% of the plays. He had two catches for 46 yards on two targets.

I still don't understand making the FB inactive against a team that is very good at stopping the run. (2nd in the NFL in yards/game)

Was Stanton active? Did we add someone somewhere (we definitely still don't have a proper backup tackle, apparently).

Fourth straight year Higgins has been buried. Something is fishy.

And he's being buried for the likes of Bradley, Natson, Schwartz.

Just look at his production over the past five weeks. Higgins has buried himself on the depth chart.

Higgins is obviously in the dog house again.
Posted By: oobernoober Re: Inactives - 11/29/21 07:41 PM
I can understand people putting on the tinfoil hats regarding Higgins. When you've got a spot on the 53 for guys that have been on the PS all year, but don't for Higgins.... That's weird. He's good enough to avoid the PS, but not good enough to play over a guy that came from the PS.

I'd like to see a few games in a row, but Higgins catching 1 out of 5 balls thrown his way isn't going to help him stick.
