Look, he finally caught something!!

Kidding. I hope he’s okay if he has the virus. I hope those around him are safe and healthy.

I also hope he’d play up to his draft status and fan hype… but alas.

I guess we’ll not be able to rely on those high powered three TE sets this weekend. Wonder if Higgins will be a healthy scratch again?

On the back of the Njoku news...

Doesn't matter; doesn't change anything.

Oh No that sucks, Njoku is the biggest weapon on the offense!

I can't see any secondary story, as it's just youtube or whatever with no script.

I wonder if they might try running the ball more now !

It could give them a chance to run the 2 minute pass offense more also.

On the plus side, this should lead to fewer 3 TE sets.

On the down side, this leaves us with Hooper, who leads all NFL TEs in drops since he signed with us (he should be be showing up to the stadium wearing a ski mask or an eye patch or something), and Bryant, who is the textbook definition of JAG. He is more or less reliable when wide open, but has had drops and fumbles, and I do not think has caught a contested pass yet. And is a horrible blocker.

Again, fewer 3 TE sets, so that is good.

Good chance Bryant is still out with a high ankle sprain.

I'd have to imagine so.

oh good! at least now we don't have to worry about running 3 TE sets.

Who really cares anymore? Hope the Chief will be OK though.

Against a seven and eight man box I doubt it. You exploit them with the pass in those situations. Well, we "try to" anyway and should be able to.

Yes they try, dropped passes don't help.. receivers not able to get open don't.. over thrown and under thrown passes don't...

Would love to see Baker take some heat off the ball and run more slants ..get the RB outside.. I formation ? Idk Pit..I just feel this game has to be won pounding the ball.. Hopefully Higgins Landry and DPJ's can get open between the 8 & 3...

Yea, but what does his Dad think about it?!?

I think every QB in the NFL has to deal with dropped passes. When you throw the ball 37 times you will have those. When it becomes five or six drops, that's too high. That's what we saw last week. I'm not sure if "WR's not getting open" has actually been a constant or not. I do know it's happened but it may not happen as often as it's been represented on this board.

I would very much like to see those short passes where Baker just takes a quick three or five step drop and delivers the ball. I'm not sure if why we aren't seeing that is a matter of play calling or a matter of Baker being unsure of himself, second guessing and holding the ball.

As uch as some people would like to make an issue out of it, none of their parents play for the Browns. It's nothing more than outside noise.
