Schwartz is pretty necessary at this point. I’m assuming Landry brill practice later in the week. Jackson isn’t much of a loss at this point. Bryant being out is expected.
Marlon Humphrey out for remainder of season....torn pec
So, we'll be missing most of our WR's and TE's... and we'll need to pass the ball to win?
Challenge accepted.

It's past time to raid the PS of teams with riches at WR.
Landry must be pretty injured if he’s still not even a limited participant
He’s getting tested everyday so if it is we will know soon.

I bet they are resting him more than his injuries are keeping him off the field. He's there for the walk through stuff. And you could see the last two weeks that he is not himself.

And there is just enough time for two negative tests. So, we will know by Sunday.
Where is Felton our RB/WR???
Right there.... pointing toward the bench.
Haha yeah Felton hasn’t been reliable yet. He seems to be trying to do too much sometimes IMO.
I’m interested to see what our approach will be without our important TEs

Felton = Jack of All Trades, Master of None.
This is what happens when so much is lumped on a rookie's plate. He learns a whole bunch of jobs, but he never really gets to develop any true proficiency with any of them.
Add in on top of it that he is only used situationally and it slows that progress even further.
Hopefully Phillips can play. The punter is the punter.

After running circles in the backfield like a dog chasing a rabbit.
Must be a heckuva concussion Schwartz has. Seems like its been 3-4 weeks.

I doubt he will be ready. I can't believe that he is in good enough football shape after missing the whole season so far. Now that I said that, he will not only play, he will start.
Coming out of the bye week in worse shape then before the bye week......go figure...only the browns 🙄
If walker tested positive then I would expect 1 maybe 2 more LB to also miss this game with covid.

Wonder if we'll sign a punter?
Wonder if we'll sign a punter?
I would think we will. Our emergency punter is Mack Wilson.
I knew Wilson was the backup longsnapper. Is he the backup punter, too?
Thought I read somewhere that Priefer said we'd sign a punter.
I was a little off. He was the emergency punter at Alabama.

I misread something that said he was the emergency punter. That was at Alabama. I'm sure we will sign a punter.

The Colquitt we didn’t have before

This is the shortest injury list I've seen in 7-9 weeks.
We still won't be the Browns roster everyone saw on opening day, but it's a damn sight better than the injury lists we've seen for most of the year.

The Colquitt we didn’t have before
See
He is out per CFRS's post

Surprised they took that long.
Unbelievable. Like I said, coming out of bye week in worse shape than going in
Bad news about Newsome. Bad luck

Pretty sure he is the long snapper

Only the Browns can have a worse injury list coming off a bye week. Why do the Gods hate us so bad?

God obviously does. He hates the Lions as well.
Winning is hard enough in the NFL without all these injuries and COVID !!!!
Frustrating beyond words...
Having Phillips paired with JOK is what I’ve wanted to see. Hopefully it makes a difference
It sure looked and sounded worse. Must be a bad one.
That's good news, and I'm glad they didn't need him in the second.

Yeah we’re gonna need him, plus he stays fresh for another week basically
I believe Lamar's injury is a HIGH ankle sprain, which can linger much longer than the lower ankle. We shall see.

I don't think they would have put that short boot on him if there were concern for a high ankle sprain. What has you believing that?
Good news on Kareem. We need him.
If Hunt could have come back in the second half yesterday, he can play Saturday.
We are still on the outside looking in-we need all hands on deck
Never mind on Hunt … he’s out for Saturday
D'Ernest will have pretty some solid tape on him by the end of the season for any interested teams.
Agreed. That puts Greedy in on a majority of the snaps. He was the biggest hurdle we needed to overcome against the Ravens.
I would try to keep D'Ernest if we can.
We have Chubb & Johnson; we can rest Hunt. It's more important that we have him for a postseason run, should we get there. It's unlikely that having him in addition to the other two would be any sort of difference maker for Saturday.
Not having Newsome sucks, though. That would be one helluva concussion to get during a Bye Week.
What about Njoku and the other 37 TE's? Any update on the COVID Parade?
I would try to keep D'Ernest if we can.
In an ideal world we would be he’s a restricted free agent and we aren’t matching anything anyone signs him to unless we are cutting Hunt loose.
Maybe our FO will decide to keep D'Ernest and let Kareem go. He has been getting hurt a lot.
I would hope not. Hunt is a separate level from Johnson. Injuries happen.
Aside from that, I want the hometown kid to finish his career here.
I would try to keep D'Ernest if we can.

A second Rd tender would be quite appropriate for him. We choose to either match the $$$ or take the pick. I think we should spend a lot to keep him...whatever a lot is? I don't know.
I'll be bummed when he goes to another team. He's a good back that deserves to be higher than a distant 3rd option with the appropriate paycheck. As much as I haven't liked his play so far, I do expect better things from Felton as well as whoever they bring in this coming FA period.
Johnson has set himself up to get paid fairly handsomely … we could tender him, which might be our best action
I would try to keep D'Ernest if we can.

I don’t see us paying nearly $4 million for our third string running back.

I hope the Browns are interested, they have needed him every year since Hilliard left. Chubb and Hunt have neither played all 16 games I believe, (17 now), in fact what is the most either Chubb or Hunt has played in? 11-12 games by Chubb in his rookie and last/2nd year?
Have either Hunt or Chubb played in 13 or more games in a season as a Brown? #Keep D'Ernest!
They could throw a 2nd round tender on him after the year for about $3 million, and I doubt another team would sign him.

I think that as well...usually. But put D'Earnest Johnson's name in place with "our third string running back" and paying the $$$ to keep him becomes a lot more palatable. We will save $16 mil due to OBJ and I doubt Landry is back at the $15+mil number. We are a running team.... we've seen that we need three RBs.
