Go Cavs!
Off topic:
I'm sick... I haven't been sick in about 10 years or so. Bronchitis/sore throat. Me no like.
hope you feel better.
and i hope kevin love can grow a pair of balls tonight
hope you feel better.
and i hope kevin love can grow a pair of balls tonight
Thanks.
Remember how well we played when we got all these new players? They were so on sometimes I'd think, "Leave Lebron on the bench longer!" So....what happened? I guess they were just playing over their heads or something?
Tyron Lue happened.
straight up. i mean think about it. we got new players...and still got the same issues? slow starts in the 1st quarter, meltdowns in the 3rd, trash defense?
thats on the coach.
That definitely could be the answer.
I have been saying Lue is the problem all along...
Pretty sure Lue will be gone in the offseason, and that will be the only thing to convince Lebron to stick around.
Cleveland Cavaliers , sponsored by charmin and the short bus
so thats all we're doing? just gonna jack up 3's?
so thats all we're doing? just gonna jack up 3's?
Live by the three and die by it
oh look what happens when we drive to the paint
yep. just jacking up 3's
1-8 from 3.
And just like that it’s out of control. God how anyone thought Lue was anything but lucky
lebron is getting no calls driving despite getting smacked constantly
This offense Lue has doesn’t allow anyone to do anything but watch Lebron and wait for scraps or desperation 3s
i am simply shocked we're only down by 2.
without lebron....ugh we're so trash.
Kevin Love is just trash, he’s not built to be a 1st or second option. Pisses me off. Expected a lot more from him
Wow! Doing good without Lebron!
yea, our bench actually trying to make something happen finally
why did lue take clarkson out? he was in rhythm and generating offense.
he should replaced green with lebron.
Kevin Love is not showing up...
LeBron and Korver are all we have right now.
LeBron needs to stop leaving his feet when he passes.
without lebron we are literally terrible
Just tuning into the game...
Fingers crossed. I called my town's witch doctor, but she might be attending to other Cav fans lol.
Kevin Love is making me cringe.
without lebron we are literally terrible
Actually, when he sat on the bench we played really well this time.
Look at all these mistakes man... they said nine miscues. Pathetic.
horrible horrible offense.
next up: the 3rd quarter.
I hope Lue is fired as soon as we get bounced next game
Our bigs are all trash, if you can’t control paint you are going to lose. I don’t see how zizic can be worse
I hope Lue is fired as soon as we get bounced next game
I'm on board. I don't want Lue here next year. Absolutely not. I was for not making a coaching change mid-late season, as I said earlier in one of the other locked threads... but I so would've been on board with Drew continuing to head the charge.
Lue and his stupid switch everything doesn’t work at all, let alone the playoffs
A good start to the 3rd quarter? Is this real life?
Caledron with a three bomb
Seriously , lebron killing offense
2 offensive rebounds and 0 points on that possession.
waaay better start to the 3rd quarter
Love is doing good getting them bounds!
Alright alright alrighttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!
Love is doing good getting them bounds!
He has made a few defensive plays and has had a few big boards but he is a huge offensive liability at the moment.
LeBron got away with a travel there, lol.
Korver!
The LeBron and Korver show.
Travel!
Korver, three point sniper...
ugh come on jr hit these wide open 3's man
Jr should be planted on bench
My gosh you can tell the crowd there is just ready to erupt.
I think you guys are about 45 seconds ahead of me lol. I just saw the LBJ play!
I think you guys are about 45 seconds ahead of me lol. I just saw the LBJ play!
If you have DVR service press fast-forward, it might be that.
A confident Korver is going to be big for us down the stretch.
21-4 start to the 3rd quarter.
What a way to flip the script.
I think you guys are about 45 seconds ahead of me lol. I just saw the LBJ play!
If you have DVR service press fast-forward, it might be that.
I think it's Sling being behind but that's okay. Small price to pay for internet TV.
Pacers look like they're getting frustrated.
Why the hell is our guards switching on bigs
We look like a house of cards, like slightest breeze and we are going to fold. Defense in paint has to improve
Kyle "You just got PUNKED" Korver!
Nance needs to make that but made up for it with that block.
LeBron is 8-8 from the line. Is this real life?
Well this quarter has been encouraging. Hope the intensity keeps up
Has JR Smith made any of his shots tonight?
Has JR Smith made any of his shots tonight?
They just said 0-7... but his defense has been good.
Too much lebron stanky leg
I just want Kyle to shoot threes all 4th quarter lol.
korver is wet from 3 tonight
LBJ is draining all his free throws...
LBJ is draining all his free throws...
Missing everything else
I hope we win this and it doesn't go into OT. My sleeping pills are kickin' in and I'm ready to hit the hay.
well, at least jr is playing some lock down D
Lebron has killed our offense tonight, don’t care if he scores 100
bamboo under fingernails...
I hate Kevin Love, guy is the softest 6’10 guy in league
nobody but lebron and korver are hitting shots.
guys have wide open looks and not hitting.
Christ so much wrong with this team
Those that can need to be driving to the basket drawing fouls.
I predict another possession where lebron dribbles for 22 seconds then takes a jab step jumper
And just like that we fold
Kyrie was 1million times the clutch player love could ever dream of
Look closer, it’s actually out by Indiana. Was out before it hit Lebrons arm.
No we see why Kyrie told them not to trade him, he knew there was nothing
Yeah well, Kyrie left to go feed his own ego. So whatcha gonna do.
Everyone except victor knew that was coming
for all we know kyrie wouldve been out for the season on this team too. his knees are porcelain
Yeah well, Kyrie left to go feed his own ego. So whatcha gonna do.
Yeah just saying lebron saw this coming. No help
Kyrie was 1million times the clutch player love could ever dream of
I believe you’ve just insulted the number one million. Too bad Kyrie wanted to leave so he could be the leader of his own team.
OMFG LEBRON!!!!! FOR THE WIN
What an incredible ending!
That was totally the Michael Jordon play.
That Lebron guy is pretty good.
Man I hope that gets them charged for the closeout game
I like seeing them happy like this.
j/c..
Absolutely incredible.
This is why it blows my mind that people think harden is the MVP over lebron, harden can do half of what lebron does, or impact a game like he does
That was totally the Michael Jordon play.
No, that was the game winner from the Orlando game years ago! That was the first thing I thought of when he hit that!
Only got to see ten seconds of the gwme.... but what a ten seconds... dagger
LeBron should be MVP every year
Just watched Olidipo's post-game presser... complaining that his layup hit the backboard before LeBron blocked it.. he's probably right and I understand he's upset.. wonder if he realizes the only reason they had the ball was because the ref blew the call on the other end when the ball got smacked out of LeBron's hand, hit the line, then bounced back up and hit LeBron... should have stayed with the Cavs... oh well, don't like games being decided by missed calls but thems the breaks.
i just came here to post this morning:
LEBRON JAAAAAAMES
To bomb all his threes and then have the ice in his veins to drop the dagger last three seconds... impressive. Most impressive.
and man oh man, has kyle korver shown up this series. he is absolutely decimating the pacers, and creating so much spacing on the floor because you HAVE to keep a body on him.
To bomb all his threes and then have the ice in his veins to drop the dagger last three seconds... impressive. Most impressive.
If he’d have made two points, that would’ve been a dagger.
One more point and it’s decapitation with Excalibur and then smashing their heads with Mjolnir!
I just hope this game was the start of something to get them going in the right direction starting tomorrow and closing Indiana out. We have the pieces individually, they just need to figure out how they are going to play together and trust each other.. The lebron hero ball has to stop. It's not fair to him and he's going to have nothing left at the end. I think Lue has to force lebron-less lineups more throughout the game. Build a lead, take lebron out and keep him out until the lead is gone, rinse/repeat. Make them less dependent on him and they'll eventually figure it out being professionals and if you have a good system in place. I think thats how you will know how much of our success is either lebron or lebron helping your system. Crazy to think how much Lebron has done with literally bottom of the barrel coaches. Kobe/MJ had Jackson, Magic had riley. Hell even Bird had Fitch and Jones.

If he’d have made two points, that would’ve been a dagger.

HAHA!
POWER! Unlimited powerrrr!
~ Emperor Palpatine
After watching this series so far I was thinking no chance.
The Cav's look like a one man band. No point guard. No true center. No go to guy except for LeBron.
Then last night WOW. As long as Le Bron is on any team they are contenders. Amazing player. Much has been said about LeBron but really not enough.
SVP was just talking about the "block/goaltending" non-call.. to his credit though, he added what I've been saying all along that without the blown out of bounds call, the Pacers wouldn't have had the ball..
In fact, he said, the NBA admitted that on the previous play, the refs missed a travel by Lebron, a foul on Lebron, a foul on Thadeus Young, and the ball out of bounds call, So in under 4 seconds of game time, they missed 4 calls... but all anybody wants to talk about is the block/goaltending call at the end..
So .... correct me if I'm wrong ...... but if goal-tending had been called, it wouldn't have made any difference, No extra time would have run off .... the Cavaliers would still have advanced the ball to half court at the time out, and they would likely have run exactly the same play.
I really want to avoid a 7. LBJ is not a bottomless well. Flush the Pacers! Close this out. But the dumb ball we play with total drop off is horrid. Lue better stop analyzing so much and get a rotation that can play in there. When we get out of the paint and take turns missing fast threes, leads disappear. I want tonight to matter.
Got my evening mapped so I can watch this game from second one. Let's get it!
Please can we help out with scoring. Love, JR and company... gotta help man.
I see the Pacers are back to tackling people again.
Are they aware that they are playing basketball and not football?
JR with a swish!
Man if we get his scoring AND his defense... alright, alright, alrighttt!
Stupid scheme on both ends. Stop switching small to big, they’ll score every time
Korver on the nice screen there with a 3 bomb.
Yeah... the ONE dude we really need to step up and play still looks useless out there.
Kevin Love made a basket.
I’d like to see us attack more since both young and turner have the propensity to foul
Looks like we’re going to get blown out here soon since we are just going to jack up dumb shots. I really hate Lue
Jesus Christ we look horrible on offense
Not feeling like a winning effort tonight
Just one game I’d love to see us play like we belong in the finals
just one game i want to see love show up
Flagrant horse collar in football. Just gave permission to play thuggy ball. Just a common foul? Even football would get down on that.
Go, Cavs. Don't throw leads out for taking turns missing threes. The paint. Use The Paint, lue.
Why is this allowed? Bench Loo.
just one game i want to see love show up
I have to wonder if that hand isn't still bothering him.
Clarkson makes me nervous when he shoots.
We make some of the dumbest mistakes
We would let a scrub like lance go off
Clarkson never passes... ever
of course love is on the ground.
so freaking soft.
Oh shocker love hurt.. good god he’s pathetic
This team shows no desire to win, they are getting destroyed on both ends by mediocre players
Love is staying in huh? Still missing shots though.
Love should give his checks back
Lebron and Lue killing us
Such stupid scheme and pathetic effort.
Like this, lead to down ten.
This team isn’t even fun to watch
Cavs down by 10 at the half.
We have no reliable # 2 shooter.
Don't know what he's dealing with, but it just seems like he doesn't have it mentally anymore.
How about someone get under the basket when shooting 3's? That'd be great.
Outcoached and out played in every facet.
It's a steep climb, but I wouldn't say that yet.
Don't know what he's dealing with, but it just seems like he doesn't have it mentally anymore.
I think he knows what we need, knows he can't be it and it just wears on him now.
It's a steep climb, but I wouldn't say that yet.
It's just not looking good right now.
Good thing we got a ring, we won’t sniff second round for about 10 years. Fitting they’ll close us out at home. THey deserve it . Bunch of soft ass goldbricks
Don't know what he's dealing with, but it just seems like he doesn't have it mentally anymore.
I think he knows what we need, knows he can't be it and it just wears on him now.
That's his choice. If you could do it before, you could do it again.
It's a steep climb, but I wouldn't say that yet.
It's just not looking good right now.
No, it isn't.
If anyone wants to see what a coach riding coattails looks like, look at mini me on the booster seat
Good thing we got a ring, we won’t sniff second round for about 10 years. Fitting they’ll close us out at home. THey deserve it . Bunch of soft ass goldbricks
They haven't won game 7 yet. Looks like they will, but they haven't won this one yet.

Formality at this point. Even if by magic we get through, Toronto will bounce us in 4
Hey Jeff, how about you save the fanciness for when we're up and just put the ball in the hoop?
Good thing we got a ring, we won’t sniff second round for about 10 years. Fitting they’ll close us out at home. THey deserve it . Bunch of soft ass goldbricks

As they saying goes, that's why they play the game.
We'll see.
This ish sucks and I dont care right now. Its 945 on a Friday night and I'm going to bed.
They're making just about everything? Us? Exact opposite.
30 points! With Lebron James on the team! wow...
Worst coached team I’ve ever seen on the playoffs. Easily
Lebron oughta be out there for leaderships sake if nothing else. I wouldn't pull any of my starters. I'd keep them out there until they got pissed enough to put in some serious effort.
Kevin Love should quit basketball
I predict another blowout Sunday
Kevin Love should quit basketball
They need to move him in the off season. For the money he's getting we could get a bunch of bench warmers that will fill his role during the regular season.
Don't know why he just disappears come the post season.
I predict another blowout Sunday
What else is new? You've predicted us to lose every playoff series since 2015.
Lebron basically even admitted Love is really letting us down
That was about as fine and thorough bedcrapping as I have seen. Refs broke us early. When we went stupid, we were all in. Love is part of it, but we got outworked and outhustled. There are losses and then there are beatings; this was not the former. Saw a lot of quit. But thank goodness we worried so about resting and rotations. Who gets to carry Love Sunday? And Loo?
First time I ever turned off a playoff game early. Disastrous performance. We need help around LeBron. I think we need to get bigger (more TT) to counter all the bigs Indiana is using.
TT might play more again; he did in game 5 IIRC
Playoffs are where coaching can make an impact, either positive or negative. I think we know what the garden gnomes impact is
Run the floor and contest each ball. Any defense would be appreciated. Get more paint on you, run harder, and pray. We haven't finished at all. I still think I saw some real quit.
Boston looks like they'll advance
I stopped watching the game just before halftime when I went to the Padres game. I guess it was a good thing. Checking my phone on the way to the game, it just kept getting worse and worse.
We really need to come out strong tomorrow. Would be nice to see Kevin Love show up.
The Warriors look good as ever.
I really can't see any team other than the Rockets or Warriors winning the title this year.
This should be LBJ swan song today, rebuild starts at 4pm today
Cavs always seem to lay an egg on Sunday afternoons. Hope today is different.
Cavs always seem to lay an egg on Sunday afternoons. Hope today is different.
Thunder already laid their egg, so, GO CAVS!
Sorry about the thunder bro. Sucks.
All this talk about Lebron ... but really, it's on Love. The dude has to show up
All this talk about Lebron ... but really, it's on Love. The dude has to show up
It's pretty sad that the Cavs have been so bad since LeBron has came that most of our games revolve around his broken body.

Random dribbles prior to the Cavaliers’ Game 7 showdown with the Indiana Pacers on Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena.
1. LeBron James was right — Kevin Love needs to step up. “We can’t make the shots for him,” James said after Love struggled to a 3-of-10 shooting performance for a mere seven points in the Cavs’ embarrassing Game 6 loss.
2. The previous three games for Love have been a nightmare. He went 2-of-10 shooting in Game 4, followed by a 2-of-11 clunker in Game 5. Throw in Game 6 and Love is a combined 7-of-31 from the field. He’s averaging a paltry 7.7 points and 9.3 rebounds during those three games. Yuck, yuck and double yuck.
3. This from the guy who’s supposed to be the second option behind LeBron. Now, Love did injure his thumb on his left (non-shooting) hand in Game 2. While the Cavs have released nothing official, he reportedly suffered some ligament damage. Maybe it’s bothering him more than he’s letting on. But somehow, someway Love must come to life.
4. LeBron wasn’t picking on Love. He was merely speaking the truth. “He’s a huge part of our success or our non-success,” James said of Love. “We try to go to him, we want to go to him. He has to step up and knock those down.”
5. Translation: No more sissy ball. It’s time for Love and the rest of the Cavs to show some real guts and produce. Otherwise, we can go ahead and fire up all those offseason rumors.
6. It’s hard to think about a LeBron-led team losing Game 7 at home or getting bounced in the first round. But in order to avoid that, the Cavs will need to go back to making Pacers star Victor Oladipo miserable — or at least really work for his points. Game 6 came much too easily for him. Not surprisingly, the Cavs were run out of the gym.
7. The Cavs are a soft team and have to be coaxed into really getting after it defensively. Tyronn Lue has done a poor job of handling the rotation in his first season without Kyrie Irving, and the defense is too often shaky at best. Sometimes, it’s downright porous. The Cavs turned over the roster in February. Yet many of the same issues remain. The only person left to blame is the coach.
8. I do believe the Cavs will win. I have considerably more confidence in that statement than I did for their last Game 7 — against the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 Finals. That one came on the road on a much bigger stage, yet the Cavs won, anyway. This team isn’t as good as that one, but at least it still has LeBron. And Love if he ever pulls it together.
9. Someone else will really need to spring to life, too. Maybe it can be Rodney Hood or Jordan Clarkson, or even J.R. Smith, who also has plenty of experience at winning time. Or how about Kyle Korver? He’s reached double figures in scoring in this series three times, and the Cavs have won them all.
10. All I know is if the Cavs lose, and I’m general manager Koby Altman, I’m finding out what that lottery pick (via the Brooklyn Nets) and Love can get me in return on draft night.
11. Prediction: If the Cavs fail to make it back to the Finals, Lue will be fired. Perhaps quickly. LeBron will stay with the Cavs, but only if they move that pick in a deal for some real veteran help. (San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard, anyone?)
12. Prediction II: The Cavs will beat the Pacers, but I suspect a close one. They will then move on to face the Toronto Raptors in the East semifinals — without homecourt advantage, no less. But I predict the Cavs will win that series in six. I know, it sounds preposterous. But this is LeBron we’re talking about, and if these guys can get things even slightly corrected, they could again be going places. But first, they have to take care of business in the biggest game of the season.

good idea about packaging Love and the top pick to keep Lebron
Trading Love and the first pick to try to keep LeBron is a peak Cavs move.
Who needs a lot of talent in two years when you can have a little talent this year?
Trading Love and the first pick to try to keep LeBron is a peak Cavs move.
Who needs a lot of talent in two years when you can have a little talent this year?
I guess my point would be: either we do that, or LBJ is gone and we are basically irrelevant forever.
Paul pierce and Chauncey billips were just roasting Kevin Love.

We're irrelevant this year because we had to get a little better three years ago. You cannot be in buy now mode for 2+ years and have anything of worth. We've seen this now with three LeBron teams.
A bit nervous. It's hard not to be when we need Love to start making some baskets.
man, love is just ont good right now
Get Love off the floor.
Omfg an air ball
man, love is just ont good right now
Terrible. Choking.
We're lucky Indy has been missing just about everything.
Uh oh! Are we getting old school TT back?
That’s ok! We’re in the bonus!
Crap call it I’ll take it
lance stephenson is a marked man
Lebron has sabonis on ice skates!
24 straight FT's for LeBron? Maybe he heard us?
I actually give credit to Korver there.
This is the start we wanted. 24-14 with 2 minutes left in the third.
yep, keep the foot on the gas
man, we've gotten some calls here
man, we've gotten some calls here
Yep. I'm not complaining!
End of first half, 19 to 31, Cavs up.
Looking real good - so far.
Clarkson needs to settle down
Man Clarkson... hit a shot..
10-0 run here for the Pacers...
Next 3 minutes will be critical.
35-31 Cavs.
Man Clarkson... hit a shot..
or sit down
Kevin Love did something other than pooping on the floor!
LeBron really is taking over...
Stevenson is keeping Indiana in it but can't guard LeBron.
they cant guard him in the post
Omg TT.! I hope they look at it
We can't give up another 10-2 run to start the 3rd quarter.
We can't relax at all.
LOL that TT shot went off Collison's head.
We can't give up another 10-2 run to start the 3rd quarter.
Too late...
Every single time.
What the hell is going on
Wasn’t the players, it was Lue the whole time. Would have been nice to have wade and Frye instead of these scrubs
3rd Quarter jinx. can't play well for the whole 48 min
Home Depot hitting everything.
Some defense would be nice.
This team is garbage, absolutely embarrassing they call themselves professional. Lebron deserves better
It’s not even like they’re playing love hard.
He is missing wide open looks
Love and Clarkson bet on the Pacers.
Not a bad run considering LeBron was resting.
Not a bad run considering LeBron was resting.
Yep. Sometimes they play well when he sits.
The defense has been pretty good all series with the exception of rotations in the paint.
They can get anything they want inside and with Lance and Oladipo off the drive.
LeBron sat a good bit. There were a number of pauses in the action for fouls as well.
Hopefully the cramps aren't an issue.
Hello Kevin Love. Glad you decided to join us on the court in the 4th quarter of game 7.
What was that pass LeBron...
He is good for 2 or 3 of those stinkers a game.
Bad box out...
And 1 for Oladipo.
7 point game.
I know I don't watch any basketball, almost absolute zero, but,
it's hard to like Kevin Love.
Big FT's by JR right there.
97-88 with 4:33 to go.
This team is garbage, absolutely embarrassing they call themselves professional. Lebron deserves better
We do have a good 1st round pick so...here's to hopin', (if ya know what I mean).
Big miss there from Collison.
Big FT's coming here by LeBron.
Big miss there from Collison.
Big FT's coming here by LeBron.
Haven't seen FT's like this from him all year.
No, he didn't get that ball off in time.
Two missed calls by the refs have Indiana back in it...
Oladipo really is good.
Not much time left, let's win this game!
How bad would we be without King
Pretty sure no one but lebron on this team catches that pass and finishes
Oladipo really is good.
Not much time left, let's win this game!
He is, I remember a bunch of people on here talking about him when we were talking trades or something like that a while back.
Definitely what you call a worthy opponent.
Indiana is a better team but they don’t have lebron
The king is ruling! Coming from a distance like that to make the rebound!
Indiana is a better team but they don’t have lebron
Yep, hopefully we get some guys that bring it all year long next season.
Great pass by Korver.
He is definitely my second favorite player in this series.
He struggled in the first few games but kept playing hard and his shot started falling.
103-96 with 23.2 left.
LeBron also has 4 steals.
I go by what I said before, Indiana is a tougher matchup than Toronto will be next round. Philly is the team that scares me
We need these two FT's here to make it a 3 possession game.
Hope we have hill next series
I go by what I said before, Indiana is a tougher matchup than Toronto will be next round. Philly is the team that scares me
I'd take anyone on that team except Lance...don't like his antics.
We survived.
Bring on Toronto.
I go by what I said before, Indiana is a tougher matchup than Toronto will be next round. Philly is the team that scares me
I'd take anyone on that team except Lance...don't like his antics.
I'd take him if he would shift his focus from annoying LeBron to annoying KD.
Gonna be tougher against the Raptors ...

I might be able to live with that.
Gonna be tougher against the Raptors ...
I disagree. Indiana is a really good team that matches up well against us.
yeah, i actually think we'll feel better about playing TOR
Lebron is playing out of his mind. So much more efficient than I have ever seen him. It really sucks that the rest of this roster just isn't very good. For all the bashing we do on Lue, give him credit for getting TT back in there. It worked. He provided a spark that they badly needed.
I just don't understand these ruts they get into where they allow teams to take over. They get a lead up to double digits, and then the ball stops moving, turnovers happen, bad offense, and that immediately will get any team in the NBA back in the game. They could have put this game away in the third and allowed Indiana too many easy baskets.
I don't think we'll see a team as scrappy as the Pacers the rest of the way, but Toronto is very good, and they probably smell blood in the water. This is probably going to go another 7.
Also, I get that it's the internet, but why whenever someone makes a comment about Lebron, talks about Lebron, discusses Lebron, some dope has to bring up Michael Jordan.
I got over the decision a year after it happened, and I'm a cavs fan, but others just can't get over it.
Also, bringing up the fact that Jordan never lost in the finals, as some kind of an argument over Lebron is one of the dumbest takes I have ever heard in my life, sports, or otherwise. You're literally giving Jordan credit for failing to make the finals in all the other years he played. It's the same argument idiot football fans make against Brady because Montana never lost a Super Bowl.
I'm not saying Lebron is better than Jordan, because Lebron is still playing, has several years of his prime left, and those conversations should be done when the body of work is, but to have a take like that, because it tailors your argument is so freaking stupid.
So Lebron dragging that 2007 team to the finals and losing, or getting beat by a Warriors team with Irving and Love hurt should work against him, meanwhile, Jordan getting his rear end kicked against the Pistons and Celtics all those years doesn't matter, because it wasn't the finals? That's beyond weak, and makes you look like a moron.
I agree with you Sperg ... LBJ is playing incredible right now. LIterally pulling this team with him. If we make the finals it's a miracle. Losing with this team should not be held against him
We have the psychological advantage over Toronto big time.
Need to get one in Toronto.
I agree with you Sperg ... LBJ is playing incredible right now. LIterally pulling this team with him. If we make the finals it's a miracle. Losing with this team should not be held against him
No, it shouldn't, but it probably will, because people just don't like the guy, and can't rationally make any kind of judgement on him.
I also wouldn't blame him if he left the team, and would hope all the fans don't either.
Not to mention if/when he does, the blame should be spread out equally. You can blame Dan Gilbert for his handling of the exodus of David Griffin, the Kyrie situation, etc.
You can also blame Lebron for not ever fully committing to this team long term so that the team could bring in other players. It was a problem the first time around, and it's a problem now. Signing one year deals is your choice, but it does not really help the team long term, and that's why I'm glad they got that draft pick out of it when they had to deal Kyrie.
But of course, people will take sides and either be against Dan, or against Lebron whenever the split does happen.
It's never gonna be a fair comparison. Jordan had better people around him longer than Lebron has for one and no coach Lebron has played for will ever hold a candle to Mike Jackson.
Lue has a ring as a coach thanks to being given the keys to a car that damn near drives itself.
Lebron (so far) hasn't left basket ball to play minor league baseball and I bet Michael couldn't throw a can of sprite like Lebron can.
The meme that would have been if the Cavs lost game 7.

Game 1 - Cavs at Raptors Tuesday
Game 2 - Cavs at Raptors Thursday
Game 3 - Raptors at Cavs Saturday
Game 4 - Raptors at Cavs Monday
Game 5 - Cavs at Raptors Wednesday
Game 6 - Raptors at Cavs Friday
Game 7 - Cavs at Raptors Sunday
Every other day huh?
Lebron needs to go ahead and play with the IV already attached.

haha for real though
The rest of the Cavs played well the last game (or two? Can't remember) when Lebron rested, I was proud of them for that. I would have let him rest even longer, as they were scoring well.

This is one thing i think that has attributed to the situation we are in. When lebron rests, at the slightest bit of trouble, Lue puts him back in. He doesn't let them try an get themselves righted. On the flipside, when lebron sits and they do well, he puts Lebron back in becuase his rest time is up. Instead of just running with them as long as he can. Lue doesn't do a good job with managing minutes, Especially Lebron's.

The rest of the team has contributed in spurts, at times, but I'd stop well short of saying anybody has "played well"... Korver had a run near the end of game 5... Tristan started out hot in game 7, Hill got a little hot at the end.. nobody has played consistently well.
LeBron averaged 34+ in the playoffs, led the NBA in the first round.. the next guy on the list for the Cavs is Love at 57... the JR at 80 something... that's not sustainable.
I said after game 2 that if LeBron didn't score 40 the Cavs can't win.. and they couldn't.

I said they played well when he rested... you know, when he was on the bench. The rest of the time? I'll definitely agree with what you wrote.

Yeah LBJ specially mentioned that in his post game interview.
I was pretty happy for our team win there. The comment about LBJ playing with an IV attached is funny but fairly accurate. Without him and his effort, our whole team is about next to nothing.
But it was nice to see Love and JR out there nailing some shots. TT played beyond what I thought of him recently.
At some point in this series, the Cavs are going to have to win a game when LeBron has 26-9-12....
It's kinda weird.
Here I live in Atlanta.
Cleveland teams are not very spectacular at the moment. We have Lebron, but that's about it.
But no matter what bar I go to, all people do is talk about Cleveland teams. Everywhere. All about the draft. All about the Cavs. Everything on ESPN.
And not just right now, it's always like that no matter what offseason.
I swear, for having such bad teams, we get so much press. Even if it's bad press. There is always a stir. Even if it's something stupid, like the soup thing. It never fails.
and I think the drafting of Mayfield will only increase the Browns' attention. Hard Knocks will as well.
Watch, next season we'll have 3-4 primetime games
Boston handled philly game 1, pretty surprising considering all the injuries Boston has. Further cements my feeling that Stevens is top 3 coach in the league. He simply has done a awesome job this year after being dealt a crappy hand. I think we are seeing Philly not quite ready for prime-time. Being young, it shouldn't be that surprising. They are still talent-wise best in the east. Let's hope they figure it out next year instead..lol
I agree. Stevens is very good. They're always in contention, his offense is good, and they play good D.
I think this series goes 7.
If I had to guess: Raptors vs Celtics and Warriors vs Rockets
Warriors vs Raptors in the finals
I'll predict a gentlemen's sweep for the Celtics (4-1). If a rested Philly team got blown out by a tired Boston team without Hayward, Irving and Brown, what chance do they have going forward?
That was a stinky, rotten egg they laid last night. Wow.
My
Celtics looked pretty good last night - 3 top players ... I hope
the Cavs beat
Toronto ...

Yeah PHilly looked a little bit inundated last night
I'm glad someone told me they Cavs play earlier this morning, otherwise I don't think I ever would've known until likely too late lol.
GO CAVS! I'll be watching...
Why wouldn't they start the same 5 as the last game?!? Ugh.
I see love is off to his usual start.
They needed that time out. Off to a bad start.
Series gonna be over quick
I think we lose this one by 20 or so.
110-90.
We have to attack their bigs to get them off floor
This dumb switch defense Lue read in a defense for dummies book is going to be the death of us. Toronto will kill us if we keep doing it
We look like a 4 seed playing a 1 seed
So far this is going exactly like I thought it would. (Not good!)
Guys like osman and zizic could help but flytrap won’t play them
Well I’m out. We have no chance . We need like 4 lebrons to overcome these scrubs and coaching
I think we are actually worse with the trade. Clarkson is horrid
Well I’m out. We have no chance . We need like 4 lebrons to overcome these scrubs and coaching
I don't blame you this is looking really bad so far.

I don't have much left in me either. This is worse than a Browns game x2 right now.
Kevin Love is outright trash...
j/c...

I'd give an arm and a leg to see the Browns get their asses kicked in the playoffs.
Kevin Love is outright trash...
He chokes (misses too many baskets) way too often - especially big games like this.
Well normal LeBron is back at the FT line.
Kevin Love taking a dump on the floor again.
We are like 1-8 from within 5 feet of the basket.
Kevin Love 1-7.
Night in and night out in the playoffs, nobody shows up but Lebron
I'd be happy if we can get it within 5 by the half.
44-37.
I don't agree with that T but I'll take it.
For how bad we are shooting, I'll take being down by 6.
51-45 Raptors.
Green is finally having a decent game.
Wow of all people to drain a three, it's Green? Nine points for him so far, he's our only hope hahaha.
I don't agree with that T but I'll take it.
It was a hook on Van Fleet. Not a T.
We're doing a bit better, but the third quarter is still coming up (roll horror music).
I don't agree with that T but I'll take it.
It was a hook on Van Fleet. Not a T.
Yeah I thought I heard them say it was a T. LBJ missed the foul shot, so welcome back as someone else said.
Jeff Green and JR Smith are carrying us in the second quarter.
I had no picture for a good two minutes. Good to see we are catching up!
I had no picture for a good two minutes. Good to see we are catching up!
I can't believe we've battled back.
Well we know who the problem was.
Kevin Love.
Went from down 12 with love to down 3 without him.
I'll take it.
60-57 at the half. JR and Jeff Green have been big.
Toronto fans are nervous right now.
I had no picture for a good two minutes. Good to see we are catching up!
I can't believe we've battled back.
Raptors are gonna bum if they blow this one. It was looking like it might be a blowout, now it's close again. The third quarter will make or break us.
We have like 13 points off their turnovers. Cooled them down quick. 3rd quarter indeed will make or break us.
LOVE IS SO HORRIBLE!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooo horrible.
Kevin Love is worthless lol.
Love has become the worst contract in the nba
Love has become the worst contract in the nba
Absolute crap. 100% crap. He had some moments there in regular season where I was like "there's Kevin" but he's so up and down, more so down. Especially in playoffs. He's in flat choke mode, a level below his usual below.
Why is lue refusing to play TT
Why is lue refusing to play TT
Larry Nance hasn't even played at all... Lue is a real dip shi....
I think lue loses his job no matter how this playoff run goes.
I think lue loses his job no matter how this playoff run goes.
Rightfully so, dude is clueless
At this point. I have to wonder if we would have a lead if love didn’t play.
We’re -16 with him on the floor.
4th quarter and Nance hasn't yet to play at all. I mean seriously? Love 100% choked. I mean he fumbled that easy rebound out. No points on easy or anything.
It's not just the playoffs, Lue is and has been just clueless.
I’m surprised no Jose either, he destroyed these guys
Every time Clarkson gets the ball, it's negative.
Man stop shooting the ball LBJ... you're not in the zone for threes.
We have no business in this. Hate to admit it but TT has been a difference maker tonight
Need to get Korver or JR going again...

He needs to start this series, he's been frustrating JV a bit on the defensive end.
Lebron takes some of the dumbest shots
Lebron takes some of the dumbest shots
He needs to be driving now, not taking crazy three's.

Especially since he's been missing them constantly. Two points on each of these possessions is better than zero points.
That was a backbreaking foul by lbj. He’s really screwed us these last 3 minutes
All the crap threes and then that? Ouch LBJ, ouch... you're the one helping, not hurting.
NBA refs should be beaten
That was a backbreaking foul by lbj. He’s really screwed us these last 3 minutes
Can't blame the guy for someone else landing on his foot.
Man even if Toronto pulls this off they can’t feel good about it
Wow we're soooooooooo lucky
Yeah, I don't see anyone inbounding and getting a shot off in 6 tenths of a second.
Not yet! We've got 1 more shot!
Man even if Toronto pulls this off they can’t feel good about it
I agree, we've played like garbage and have a chance.
Not yet! We've got 1 more shot!
Korver, JR seem like options.
Man even if Toronto pulls this off they can’t feel good about it
It'll be just like us escaping the Pacers-RELIEF!

I agree, we've played like garbage and have a chance.
What else is new?
So close. That’s fine we’re in OT
Damn..... I thought LeBron made that when it left his hand.
Incredibly close... OT it is
That was close, wow. Let's do this!
Cavs have to feel good right now given how they played. Hope it’s enough
Cavs have to feel good right now given how they played. Hope it’s enough
Will you stop with the positivity? Every time you whine that we're going to lose we go on a run.
Ok now work clock and trade baskets
Love going to lose this by himself
Ok now work clock and trade baskets
Well that didn't work out
dear god, we can't buy a bucket
God you’re stupid lebron. You were at the rim, finish the damn thing
Yea Lebron should’ve just went up
Yep, not sure why he did that
Love going to lose this by himself
He's doing a good job on the rebounding though, gotta give him that.
Lebron lost the game with his stupid decisions
You go 2 for one there at minimum
Tutorial on how to extend a series for television ratings.
If we're going to run the clock down get some damn ball movement!
You go 2 for one there at minimum
Coulda driven and drew a foul...
Love said I’m gonna lose this game, Lebron said hold my beer
One point game with 40 seconds you leave time to get last possession
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Only need one more point than the other guy!
AND WE GOT IT!
That was kind of brutal to watch.
Stop it refs stop it. Game Over.
we Are blessed. Some horrible play and still eek out and steal home court
At least we had timeouts, lol
Toronto has to be wondering wtf they have to do
Can't we just say nah, we don't need the time, we already have more points than they do?
I can't even believe that. JR, TT and Korver.
Can't we just say nah, we don't need the time, we already have more points than they do?
We still have to inbound
Can't we just say nah, we don't need the time, we already have more points than they do?
We still have to inbound
I know, I just thought we could 'give the time back' as it were.
Impressive... most impressive.
Now that is what you call a comeback
This has to get into Toronto's head.
Refs even did all they could to hand the game to Toronto. As happy as I am with the win, I think Toronto has a serious mental block against us. We didn't play particularly well (good enough), but the Raps pretty much choked in the 4th.

They missed 16 shots in a row
Never a doubt! LOLetc.
I am somewhere beyond stunned with this win. BELIEVELAND indeed! This has to play with their heads. Has to. This loss in spite of the refs help. And what was up with the "Stay down!" fouls for the Rappies? Like they were mortally wounded, then stand up for foul shots. Love got clubbed on a few and no calls; always with LBJ, who gave away his share tonight.
It is a win. And it was a wonder to watch.
Why no Nance?
This has to get into Toronto's head.
They were done at halftime. The crowd knew it then, too.
At some point in this series, the Cavs are going to have to win a game when LeBron has 26-9-12....
Going to quote myself after game 7... since I'm not right all that often in my sports predictions... but at the end of regulation, I'm pretty sure LeBron was 26-10-11...
This is a huge win...
So, I will just get out my Land Broom for the fun of it. Sweep 'em again?
How many BSPN special guest expert commentator pronouncers will it take to eat all the crow piled high so far this playoff. Throwing more dirt and disbelief at us. Maybe we shouldn't have won, but we did. Let us make as big a deal about being wrong and how they forced their will, however 'uglily(?)', on the game. Great win and what a comeback.
Are there NBA records about the number of blown leads in game, series, seasons? The Australian Cavaliers seem to be on a walkabout and then manage a win.
I'm watching the pelicans warriors game. Greene tackles Davis and the call offsetting fouls. Then they call a flagrant 1 on a hard foul that I've seen happen in Cavs game many times that was a common foul. The NBA needs to get their act together on officiating.
The Raptors have to be wondering what they have to do to beat the Cavaliers. lol
It is a win. And it was a wonder to watch.
Why no Nance?
I love Larry but TT has been a calming force for all imho
