My son, wife, and I will be attending the game - Arizona sounded nice in December. I've been there for a game once before and had a good time. We'll be heading up to Sedona on Friday as I absolutely love it there.

We're staying at the Hampton Inn right next to the stadium, coming in Thursday and leaving Monday. I know some of the backers groups have plans for parties/tailgates as well.

Anyone else planning on attending this one?
I am not going. But, we had a blast back in .......I don't know when. When Winslow caught the ball in the endzone for the win, but the ref's ruled him out of bounds.

Great stadium, great fans there.

Yep.

Last time I went was the Winslow catch in the last second (2007).

Looking forward to seeing our DL and LB destroy the weak AZ offensive line.

That's the one I was see. I was right in the corner where it happened about 15 rows back.

You WERE? I was on (we) about the 15 yard line, maybe 15-20 rows up.

I was there too. Browns side line, about the forty yard line, 30 or so rows up. I met Joe Thomas before the game (his rookie year) and got his autograph.

We were Sec 441, Row 3, Seat 15-16.

Good stadium. Except (if in Visitors' section) you had to stare at the sun until it set with the roof rolled back.

Interesting thing was, all the AZ fans about 2 rows back and 2 rows forward - once they saw the big video playback of the catch - were reigned to defeat.

Referee made it a celebration.

It was not a reviewable play. At the time players weren’t allowed to force a receiver out of bounds when he was catching the ball. The ref had to determine if he would have been forced out had he not been pushed out.

And since the referee didn't have the stones to make the right call, the NFL scrapped that rule after the season.

Think that was the same year as the Dawson stanchion lick.
