Steelers have Cincinatti, Seattle, and Baltimore left.
With the way they're playing I could easily see them go 0-3, I have a feeling tomlin is still going to end up dragging them to 9-8 though..
The Rules are $^#^"ED messed UP.
HOW DO YOU MIss the Playoffs with the same RECORD, TO A TEAM YOU BEAT HEAD TO HEAD????
B/c of the AFC North, it can happen,
If there is a five way tie at ten and seven between the Pitt, Cincy, Cleveland, Indy, and Denver,
assuming KC and Jax win their div. and if you even take Buffalo and Houston out of the mix,
the wild card teams would be
Pitt
Indy
and Denver, B/c Pitt would be 2nd place in the afc north, with a five and one div record , best Cleveland can do is 4 and 2, best cincy can do is 3 and 3 or it doesn't matter with their conf. record...
But,
in that case, B/C it would still be a 3 way tie at ten and seven every time the filled the next wild card spot, and between clubs from different divisions
then Cincy and Cleveland would be removed from consideration
to Indianapolis,
EVEN THOUGH THEY BOTH BEAT INDY, and the very next tie breaker would be to remove Indy for that very reason,
but before they get there, they'd remove both
Cincy and Cleveland , and why?
B/c Indy would be in 2nd place in the AFC south, compared to Cincy and Cleveland being in 3rd or 4th place in the AFC North
Nightmare, but very real possibility,
and
AND,
Knowing this ^, Baltimore, can Choose to Lose against Pitt in the Final game to allow a lesser team Pitt, In, to be their opponent, and kick Cleveland and Cincy out.
Not entirely impossible,
you have to win Eleven to make the Playoffs
You have to Win Eleven or sit at home and wonder what happened on how you beat Indy, and Jax, and they could both be in the playoffs at Ten and seven,
And you are not but you are also Ten and seven.
The RULEs ARE sO Messed UP, YOU CAN ONLY GET IN IF YOU REMAIN 2ND OR BETTER IN THE AFC NORTH.
or have a half game lead in the record against EVERYBODY else
simply the AFC north teams are being discriminated against b/c they don't have two bottom feeder teams in their div. like the afc east,
afc west and afc south do.
