Tennessee Titans vs. Cleveland Browns: Week 2 TV Coverage

areas in cyan are scheduled to show the Cleveland Browns host the Tennessee Titans on CBS this Sunday during the 1:00 PM ET time slot. Tom McCarthy and Adam Archuleta will be calling the action, a group that is at the bottom of the totem poll of announcers.

The Browns and the Bengals both play at the same time on CBS, but for the time being, it appears that Columbus is showing the Browns game and Dayton is showing the Bengals game. Note: Coverage areas are subject to change. The map is from 506sports.com; click here to see all of their NFL coverage maps this week.

If you live in the Cleveland area, these are the games you will be able to watch on Sunday:

Most likely we will have the worst announcers known to man

As far as I can tell the game isn't sold out, so if it doesn't sell out by 1PM tomorrow, 72 hours, it won't be on local Cleveland TV. It will be blacked out.

Games will not be blacked out this year:

I've solved that issue starting with this upcoming game. At least I hope so.

I bought a piece of equipment that will delay the radio broadcast, (with Jim Donovan & Doug Dieken), from 1 second - up to 3 minutes in order to sync the radio with the TV broadcast.

I'm really hoping this thing works and is worth the money.

if it does work I'd be interested in that as well. I can't stand the announcers we get. It's brutal to sit through a game with the mistakes and the slobbering over teams like Pittsburgh and Baltimore

WBNS 10 TV In Columbus Is Showing The Browns Over The Bengals, I have The NFL Ticket But I Love Hearing Bengal Fans Complain And I Am Happy For Browns Fans Who Don't Have The Ticket ... thumbsup

That's actually a brilliant idea. I truly love listening to Jim Donovan!

I live in Michigan, just on the other side of the state line from Toledo..

It appears the little blip of coverage is not in my area..

However there is no other early game in my area..

So will I get to watch it on TV? Or am I going to have to stream it?

Well we will be attempting to fine tune the new antennae to reach the Columbus feed. Shame as I have WHIO Dayton coming in beautifully.
Oh well....lol!

I'm sure theres a large number of Seahawks, Cowboys and Texans fans that are wondering why Tennessee/Cleveland is on in their area..

For years I've been hitting pause on the cable remote just as the kicker is about to make contact w/ the ball at opening kickoff. Then when Jim Donovan says "And . . . weee're . . . OFF . . ." I hit play.

I haven't listened to friggin' TV announcers for years. Won't EVER . . .

The Steelers are on FOX this week so I'll get the game on CBS

Let us know how it works out, and if it works, where can I get one? I always prefer the radio broadcast but I can't stand the delay.

If you get the Toledo channels, it's on WTOL 11.

I'll know after this game and will offer, through PM, all the details.

The problem I have at my home is that the TV is behind the radio, not ahead of it. If I were hit pause just as the kicker is about make contact Jim Donovan will have already said, "And ... we're... OFF", a couple of seconds before I hit pause.

Somehow at your home the TV is ahead of the radio allowing you to pause your TV while the radio catches up. In my home, like I said, the TV is behind the radio. Pausing my TV only puts the radio further ahead of the TV.

Sweet.

I assume my biggest problem will be if the Lions play on CBS.

Does anybody know where I can get the radio broadcast online? Sometimes the team site has it, other times it doesn't? I'm at work and for some reason my SiriusXM subscription won't let me log in via the computer frown

I'm preparing for the worst set of announcers...

I thought McCarthy and Archuleta were both excellent. I wouldn't mind having them again.

Yep, I was pretty wrong with my assumption. Actuality thought these announcers were decent.
Posted By: lampdogg Re: TV Coverage - 09/24/15 01:11 AM
I didn't see the game but I've watched highlights a bunch of times. I enjoyed what I heard from the announcers. Archuleta was a Ram, iirc, and seemed ok on Sunday.... I liked the play-by-play guy's voice and delivery.

I bet you are all glad I bumped this thread with this TV review lol.
