And people wonder why the Bengals don't draw more fans to their games. Many fans are disenchanted with Mike Brown and even more so because he continues to keep Marvin Lewis as the HC. I've read many people say that they will never renew their season tix as long a Brown runs the show. It isn't a curse, it's ineptitude. Brown does nothing to try to bring fans in to the fold. The Reds are great at enticing fans to Great American Ballpark. They have Redsfest at the end of the season and they have the Reds winter caravan in late January in which players, coaches, broadcasters, and team officials travel to surrounding states to get fans fired up for the upcoming seasons. The Bengals don't even honor past players. There are no statues of former Bengal greats outside the stadium and no ring of honor inside the stadium. The only thing that they do that is really good is keep the name Paul Brown Stadium. I'm pretty disgusted with it all but they are my team and I will stick with them.

Honestly, the Browns curse is far worse than the Bengals curse. At least you got to sniff the playoffs.

Maybe. You have to keep in mind, the bengals "sniff" of the playoffs ended up smelling like dirty jock.

You can't have a ring of honor with only 1 player wink

Oh please. You wish you were the bengals because your season smells before it even starts.

Despite a fifth consecutive one-and-done trip to the playoffs, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis' job is reportedly safe.

Yeah you have that to look forward to. thumbsup

Unfortunately I have no say so in that. And to make it worse it looks like there's a good chance you all will have the person as your HC that I and many Bengals fans would love to have.

We will see I'm not getting overly excited as of yet but it will be interesting to see what they put together and how it plays out.

Vambo,
My god how many hours did you put into all these posts? for crying out loud get a life!

The Bengals won their first 8 games in a row & then proceeded to lose 4 of the next 8 using a backup quarterback. I knew we were not going to the SB with a backup quarterback. McCarron did an admirable job but if Dalton plays we win at least 1 of the 4 we lost & would still be playing today. The Bengals had some bad luck with injuries at the end & went one & done again. 5 Playoff appearances in a row is a darn sight better than we did the 15 years before that. I will never complain about a 12-4 record ever! Good job Bengals! & we will pick it up in a few months & go at it again!
