I like Guise & Sony Michel and hope we get one of them. Who do you like?

I like Guice if he's there in the top of round 2...I like Sony Michel, but haven't seen him play besides highlights and tonight.
Then again I always like attacking RB in FA, as its relatively cheap to buy a FA RB, then draft a higher cost position (LT, QB, CB, DE, ETC) or find a RB in mid to late rounds (Lamar Miller, Jordan Howard, etc)

Guice, Chubb, Love, Harris, Michel, Scott, Johnson...
This draft is pretty loaded at RB, so I won't be too upset if we pass on Barkley early.

Sony Michel is someone I would love to see us add. Breakaway speed, shifty runner, breaks tackles and he's also an exciting threat through the air.
Costly fumble there, as Tru pointed out, but even then the kid broke two tackles on a blown up play before getting himself in trouble trying to do too much.
I think he's a fantastic compliment to Duke, and his experience splitting the load with Nick Chubb will ensure he doesn't get frustrated with a two back system.
Love what I've seen of Rashaad Penny, too. The kid just flat out plays.
I also like Nick Chubb and L.J Scott, but admittedly I need to watch a lot more before I can give much of an informed decision.

Can the Georgia backs catch the ball? I haven't seen them get any love with routes.

Just heard OSU's Mike Weber has declared for the NFL ...

Just heard OSU's Mike Weber has declared for the NFL ... He could be a sneaky pick if he falls in the draft. There's not a lot of tape on him because he was behind Zeke and got hurt this year.

Somebody on Facebook said, "Using a high pick on Barkley for Hue Jackson is like buying a motorcycle for your cat." Indeed. On a similar note, the thought of drafting Fitzpatrick only to see Gregg line him up in Shaker Heights is as disconcerting.

We need Minkah Fitzpatrick. I am so hoping we take him with that 2nd 1st rounder. I wanted Hooker desperately last year and I think Fitz is better.

Unless I'm mistaken (and I could be) playing that deep deep safety was out of character for Williams. I suspect that lacking a true FS was the reason for that tendency.

I think it was more about our corners than our FS, but I do agree. You really have to put a lot of faith in the speed of your FS and the angles that he takes to line him up that far back. As we saw, the angles are a lot harder the farther you are from the ball.

It was tongue in cheek. I'd have no problem taking Fitzpatrick.

I have been saying for a while there are a load of good backs in this draft. Barkley isn't the only back on the board.
For those of you who hadn't really watch Georgia play, welcome to the Sony Michel and Nick Chubb fan club.

We will see what they do against Alabama. Like Love from Stanford. I'd ask Jim Brown what the thinks of runners....he sure wasn't wrong with Richardson.....GO Browns!!!

Auburn junior RB Kerryon Johnson will forego his final season of eligibility to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
Johnson, the SEC's reigning Offensive Player of the Year finished the 2017 season rushing for 1,391 yards (4.9 YPC) and 18 touchdowns. The 6-foot, 195-pounder is a patient runner who is skilled at setting up his blocks before cutting upfield. Health has often been a question with Johnson, especially last year, when a hamstring injury hampered him at times, but he took on 103 more carries this season and showed out well with the extra work. A strong evaluation process could engender interest for late in the first round.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline hears from "multiple sources" that USC junior RB Ronald Jones II will enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
Pauline writes that Jones will begin training for the NFL Combine in the coming days. The 6-foot, 200-pounder is one of our favorites beyond the obvious like Saquon Barkley. He's deceptively strong and a true breakaway threat -- three of Jones' runs this season went for more than 50 yards. The junior rushed for 1,550 yards (5.9 YPC) and 19 touchdowns for the 2017 campaign. Draft Analyst hits up Jones with a second-round grade.

It keeps getting deeper and deeper.
I am not saying to not draft Barkley. If he is there at 4 he will have to be a strong consideration. I don't know who I would take over him at that point. I do know I might consider a trade down.
We are set pretty good. Dorsey can reap the rewards, and part of that reward is he can play the trade down game himself and build a little more for next draft without being high and dry this year. It's pretty sustainable at this point if we choose to go that route.

This is a draft where we should grab 2 RB's. Somebody will fall into the later rounds and be a steal.

It's pretty sustainable at this point if we choose to go that route. This is exactly why I liked the original plan before it all fell apart. We can trade down and keep money in the bank, draft pick wise, whilst still picking up good players. It always makes sense to do that as opposed to your earliest pick being a 4th round pick one year... That said, I hope we draft a QB and an impact DB/WR/RB. Preferably all 4. Should be able to with a brazillion picks in the first 65.

I also forgot all about Royce Freeman the big back from Oregon...He would be an ideal back for the AFC North...heck could be a steal in round 4
