R.I.P. Toby
I was thinking about him not long ago. I hadn't heard any updates on the local country oldies station for a while, I assumed correctly that things weren't going well.
Some years ago....maybe 15 or more a couple of friends offered us tickets to see Toby after a couple had to cancel. We saw Toby with Miranda Lambert as his warm up....not a bad warm up.
It was a great show and am sorry to hear of his passing. Sixty-two is pretty young, but life is time. You never know how much time you are going to get, so make the most of it.
Oh, about the Video, I once went to a honky tonk in St. Bernard, Louisiana that had chicken wire up in front of the stage. Interesting place. I didn't see anything thrown.
