Any GM taking picks for next year should be fired and escourted from RCMH. With the losses the NFL is piling up in the courts, there maynot be a draft next year.
Indecision may,or maynot,be my problem

I think Cameron Jordan if we dropped to 17.
I always like the thought of more players. The only thing is the drop in WR.
There will be no playoffs. Can’t play with who we have out there and compounding it with garbage playcalling and worse execution. We don’t have good skill players on offense period. Browns 20 - Bears 17.

I love you,...but that is BS ... !
I have no clue what this means.
It means I respect yor opinion, understand where you are coming from, and hope you are correct,...but you are full of dog doo.
More players might mean more opportunities to get more good players, but that is a crapshoot.
TAKE PATRICK IF HE IS THERE !! Period.

Or Green or Jones.
Any other year I would love to trade down but I think there is alot of talent right where we pick.

I trade down every time no matter who is there (unless you need a QB and there is a franchise QB available).

If Browns drop that far and WAIT til' next year to reap the benefits.. my jaw would drop!!!! ESPECIALLY w/ an offense change AND defense change.

I trade down every year too but this year is different for me. I truly feel that a true number one receiver is the only thing lacking on our team offensively. A true number one is going to help our QB, help our RB and help our other receivers.
I just can't warrant trading out of our pick with the possibility of two blue chip players possibly being available.

I can't argue with that.
But I can say, maybe our front office likes other guys just as much as one of the players available at pick #6. If that's the case, trade down.

Also, look at it this way, if we trade back to #27 we get to watch the whole 1st round wondering what our team will do.

Thats true.
I think the most exciting/agonizing draft I have ever seen was two years ago when we traded down a thousand times.

I remember all the good players we passed on. I hope we don't do the same.

Not trying to single you out, but the logic I see on many posts is "We can't wait to get an aditional first rounder next year on this pick".......Yes, Atlanta picks late in both the first and second....and yes, next year's pick may be a late pick too.....BUT...
Folks, from the looks of things, we may not even HAVE any football this coming season. It's all a crap shoot at this point. The N.E. trade sounds great, but even the Atlanta trade, if the pot is sweetened right....say this years first and second combined with next years first, we just about have to jump on it. Overhauling the 3-4 to the 4-3 almost seals it as a reality if such an offer is made.
JMHO
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

yea that's fine, but i expect more out of all those picks than an all-pro center. We missed on all the others.

I would be willing to bet money that football will be played this year.
And having another first round pick next year would be nice along with saving a little more cap room this year but I just feel when you have a prospect that is as close to a sure thing as you can get you gotta take him. And there are a couple of guy's who might be available at our pick who fit that bill.
I am torn because I want more picks but I want either Green or Jones too.

And we ended up with neither, but got some no-name while 3 other teams took OFFENSIVE TACKLES in the first round while the "we-can't-take-a-tackle-in-the-first-round" backers are grinning from ear to ear while we still don't have a right tackle.
The draft is BS,...it's a crapshoot.
