I want Dane Sanzenbacher, WR, Ohio State. I absolutely love this kid and I don't want to risk not getting him as an UDFA.

Sorry Nick, hopefully he doesn't get picked in the next few picks and decides to come to Cleveland when UDFA opens.

I had him on my list...but only knew of him because he was in the players working out for the Browns thread. Did a little research (aka reading) from there.

I really liked the first two days of picks for us, but I'm not sure on some of today's selections. Time will tell I guess.

If we really need our 4th through 7th rounders to contribute a lot, we probably have some real problems.

I'd love if they did pan out, but I'm not going to be horribly upset if they don't.

Today's picks have baffled me a bit. At first I thought we were going BPA, however some of our late picks make me think we drafted strategically as opposed to going BPA. I don't hold many expectations for picks 4-7, however with the lack of depth and talent that we currently have, I would think that we would go after talent at any position.

Time will tell, but I'm a little concerned with our decisions today.

I really liked the pinkstons pick today and that was it.

Some of the picks were just mind boggling. I give today a C- at best

I'm surprised Dane Sanzenbacher wasn't drafted at all. Thought for sure he'd go in the sixth or seventh round.

No ... we got rid of a guy that we don't want to be a cancer in the locker room who might not fit our system. Plus ... when you consider that the game is a passing game, the I-formation fullback might not be on the field for more than 25 to 30% of all plays ... especially when you consider we will be in the west coast offense. Picking up a versatile fullback might end up being a pretty good deal overall.

Vickers is 6'0 250. Marecic is 6'1 and 245 to almost 250 ... he could be a bigger blocker than Vickers by the time that the season starts.

By the way, we also got younger. Marecic is 22. Vickers will be 28 in about 10 days. If we are trying to compete in the next 2 to 3 years for the division ... do you really want to trust a fullback who is going to be 30 or 31 to take a beating? It's another part of the youth movement.

And who ever even said that he WAS gone ... there is still a small chance that he could be back.

Exactly that too. We have insurance at the FB position if Vickers leaves. Also, if Vickers does leave, as a RFA we get compensation (another pick in 2012). I'm okay with that.

Did Deunta Williams go un-drafted?

I looked but didn't see his name anywhere. Kind of suprising to me if he did.

If we ever get the cba starightened around where we can sign un-drafted free agents then I think that we should go after Sanz and Williams.
