Why are they going nuts over the roughing call, when it's pretty clear why it's the right call. Williams landed on the QB with his full body weight, and that's illegal. We were called for it a times or 2 last year.

The Jets got a pick 6 and then went for two. Darnold takes the snap and there is some pressure as he rolls right. He retreats as he is rolling right. Maybe Rodgers and Mahomes can pull it off, but it is beyond stupid to roll to one side or the other and give ground. The field is condensed. Your arm strength is compromised. The receivers run out of room. Dumb football.
I better clarify in case I wasn't clear. Retreating while cutting the field into a 1/3 throwing window is absolutely stupid.

The Talking Heads on The NFL Channels "after game analysis" tore up Greg Williams on some obvious cheap shots on the final plays of the Thurs Night Broncos/Jets game.

I watched the first half, and I lost interest. I came away with two things. First, Pierre Desir is bad. I know he had a nice pick, but that was one of the worst throw-aways I have ever seen. But Desir was beat like a rented mule. He was really bad.
Second, the Jets were as undisciplined as any team I have seen in the last few years.
