I didn't realize all the 'real world' stuff Dawand was going through in the time just before the draft. He put family matters ahead of his personal goals dealing with the draft and now I understand just how much he sacrificed to meet his family responsibilities.

Kind of makes us think of players as real human beings, not just interchangeable parts of a system put on earth to entertain us.
