Browns sign Maiava

The Cleveland Browns announced on Friday evening that the team has signed rookie linebacker Kaluka Maiava.

Maiava was the Browns' fourth round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Maiava missed just one game during his four-year career at USC (2005-08). He was a second-team All-Pac 10 selection as a senior when he notched 66 tackles, eight stops for loss and an interception.

For his career he amassed 164 tackles, 15.5 stops for loss and two interceptions.

I am going to go out on a limb and say no he wasn't signed earlier, I am going to guess it was earlier today, unless the beat writers for the team are wrong :shrug:
