The Democrats are fighting for more and more access to voting, I long for the days where 1 vote, 1 person, 1 day of the calander year.

If you extend voting for endless ways and periods of times, it becomes impossible to get a real and accurate count.

Oh the horror!!!! How scary it is to see more Americans participating in our democracy!
Yep, it's the silent majority.
Anyways the GOP and trump supporters know they can’t win the election fairly so now they are actually creating fake ballot drop off boxes.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/california-unofficial-ballot-drop-off-boxes
In California, no less.... so dumb. I mean, if you're going to cheat, don't you think they would've picked a state where it would've actually mattered?
j/c...

General question I've asked several friends.

In 2016, about 63 million voted for Trump, about 66 million voted for Hillary, and about 7 million for others. So, roughly 136 million people.

With all of the "get out and vote" campaigns - what does everyone think the over/under would be for the 2020 election? I don't want Vegas odds, just your number you think will be the number of voters.

I said 150 million total, the highest someone told me was 175 million. Most guesses have been between 150 and 160 million

This is all anyone wants. It's what everyone should want.

It's only Trump lying maniacally about voter fraud that is creating a different narrative. You need to stop listening to that pathological liar and the media outlets that echo his lies and hate. . . That's what his message is: division and hate.

Of course I was going to say mass voter fraud was proven to be a fabrication that Trump's own commission put to rest ... but then the GOP tried mass voter fraud in NC and then this week in CA ... the GOP might be guilty of voter fraud, but then I guess we shouldn't expect too much different from the party of Trump.

Bottom line, Democrats continue to fight for those who commit felony behavior.

If you had your way where it was "one person, one vote", Hillary would have been president the past four years.
It's very hard to put a sold number behind it. But I do feel the number range between the 150 to 160 million will be pretty close to accurate. So I'll go with the middle. 155 million.

It's sad that the number will be so low.

Facts are on my side. Trump claimed there was MASSIVE voter fraud, he investigated and verified no mass voter fraud. Very little fraud period. Voter fraud has been done in NC and now CA by the GOP.

You've got Trump rhetoric & fearmongering on yours. Sorry. We couldn't disagree more.
Fauci says Trump campaign should take down ad featuring him

Washington (CNN)Dr. Anthony Fauci said Monday that the Trump campaign should take down the political advertisement that he's featured in, calling his presence in the spot "really unfortunate and really disappointing."
Fauci's latest comments come one day after he told CNN he did not consent to being featured in the Trump team's new advertisement and that his words were taken out of context.

"It's so clear that I'm not a political person," the nation's leading infectious disease expert told CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead."
"And I have never -- either directly or indirectly -- endorsed a political candidate. And to take a completely out of context statement and put it in which is obviously a political campaign ad, I thought was really very disappointing."

The Trump campaign released the new ad last week after the President was discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center following treatment for Covid-19. The 30-second ad, which is airing in Michigan, touts Trump's personal experience with the virus and uses a quote from Fauci in an attempt to make it appear as if he is praising Trump's response.

"President Trump is recovering from the coronavirus, and so is America," the ad's narrator says. "Together we rose to meet the challenge, protecting our seniors, getting them life-saving drugs in record time, sparing no expense."

The ad then flashes to an interview with Fauci in which he says, "I can't imagine that anybody could be doing more."

But Fauci told CNN in a statement Sunday that "the comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials."

In response to Fauci saying the ad took his words out of context, Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said, "These are Dr. Fauci's own words. The video is from a nationally broadcast television interview in which Dr. Fauci was praising the work of the Trump Administration. The words spoken are accurate, and directly from Dr. Fauci's mouth."

Asked Monday about the possibility of being featured in future Trump campaign ads, Fauci maintained, "That would be terrible."

"I hope they don't do that because that would be kind of playing a game that we don't want to play," he said.

The advertisement comes alongside an aggressive campaign push from President Donald Trump at a time when his reelection bid is trailing in national polls and in a number of key swing states with less than four weeks to go until Election Day.

And even as the White House physician has declined to say when the President's last negative test took place, the campaign has scheduled a slate of in-person rallies in the coming days.

Fauci assessed Monday that the events, which largely flaunt best public health practices, are "asking for trouble."

"Put aside all of the issues of what political implications a rally has and just put that aside and look at it purely in the context of public health. We know that that is asking for trouble when you do that. We've seen that when you have situations of congregate settings, where there are a lot of people without masks, the data speak for themselves. It happens," he said.
"And now is even more so a worse time to do that because when you look at what's going on in the United States, it's really very troublesome."

"The Virginia Information Technologies Agency said in a tweet that the cable was inadvertently cut during a Chesterfield County roadside utilities project but had no estimate on when it would be repaired."

I can attest to this happening. They started roadwork at the end of our office's street, and in 2 weeks, they have cut the fiber lines 2x already, and are only 2 weeks into a 4 month project. /smh

The guys running the backhoes just dig, they don't care what's down there.
The general public always gets told "call before you dig!"

Why have rules if the rule makers don't hav eto follow the same ones?

That's frustrating.
How it happened is what I was waiting for before I made any comment. At first glance it seemed like an odd coincidence. But after further revue it it seems quite accidental. Thanks for the information.
I would assume VA will extend their voter registration beyond today's deadline in light of the severed fiber optic cable.

Call 811 before you dig!

Contractor will be on the hook for repairs unless the utility was mismarked.
When it comes to extending the registration process, one would hope so.

AT first I thought to myself? Someone filed a lawsuit in less than 24hrs, before the Elections board had a chance to figure out what they would do?

But then looking into it further, the powers that be, including the elections board were all for it, and that the "lawsuit" was necessary due to the way the states voting laws are written. It was a formality.

It's actually been going back and forth in the court system. How anyone can think that having one location to drop off ballots in a county with over 5,000,000 people and a land mass larger than Rhode Island is a logical conclusion to this case is crazy.

400 or 500 million, Sure, it would probably take more than 200 million fruadulant democratic voting ballots for the dems to win, which is what I think happens,
so, 175 million real votes, 80% + for trump,
and then ,,,140-35, that would mean at least 105 million fraudulent votes to swing the election for Biden,
soo
285-300 million,
but then, you have the higher turnout of real voters for Trump
soo,

maybe the dems put in 205 million fraudulent ballots, add that to maybe 200 million actual votes, 80+% for Trump,
and then you have the democrat win,

But it will all happen sometime after Christmas probably, because it will take them weeks to pull of such a feat.

According to you and you alone, voter fraud is wide spread and 100% dem votes. Okay boomer. rofl

Yes there's significant exaggeration I used,
but the exaggeration illustrates the very real problem.
We just passed 15M votes recorded!

**Certainly more than this, once you include votes that are currently in the mail, and votes that are waiting to be counted by elections commissions**

A decent number of battleground states (WI, MI, FL) already have more than 20% of their 2016 vote counts in...
GC. Kamala Harris' body language is annoying to me, (and I'm nodding my head continuously as I say that to you, and then looking down or off somewhere to read again)

But her annoying body language doesn't mean a thing as much as as bad as the democrats policies and Evil they would instill if we can't keep them in check.

If anyone likes their ideas that much, certainly they'd love living under the oppression of California's state government, correct? (because California is the democrats disney world).
So I'll ask democrat voters,
Is California's the best state government to live under? Is California the best governed state in America, and because of so, are conditions in Calif. so great for way of life?

Tweet #2 is interesting.

My first thought, upon reading this stat:
"I'll bet that almost none of these donors have a Biden/Harris sign in their front yards."

Sometimes, clues are more subtle- and ya gotta look elsewhere/deeper to see them.

These are grassroots dollars. Coming from households whose lives are every bit as disrupted by CoronaLife© as are all of ours.

And if these ordinary people are motivated to donate money in a time of uncertainty like this, you'd better believe that they are motivated to make their votes count, no matter what it takes.

If we dig a layer deeper than just the surface numbers, we find that this stat is the latest of a steady, consistent trend that has been robustly escalating since Spring, 2020.

I don't think yard signs are the barometer for 2020.
I think personal donations are the seismograph readings of 2020.
The rumble always emanates from deep underground.

Nolte: ‘Smoking Gun Email’ Shows Joe Biden Did Meet with Son Hunter’s Ukraine Partners

John Nolte

14 Oct 2020

A “smoking gun email” obtained by the New York Post shows Joe Biden lied when he said he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

According to an email dated April 17, 2015, Biden, who was then the sitting vice president, met in person with Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma.

Bursima is the sketchy Ukrainian energy company that put Hunter Biden on its board and paid him a reported $50,000 a month — a month! — even though Hunter has no known energy sector experience and doesn’t speak any of the languages spoken in that country.

The date of the email is important. The meeting between Pozharskyi and the then-vice president would have taken place eight months before Biden threatened to withhold U.S. aid from Ukraine unless the country agreed to fire a prosecutor who was looking into Burisma. The prosecutor was fired.

In 2018, Biden bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations about how he got the prosecutor fired.

“I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

And the investigation into Burisma was shut down.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the smoking gun e-mail from Pozharskyi reads.

This isn’t the first piece of evidence that proves Joe Biden lied when he claimed “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

Later last year a photograph was released of Joe Biden on the golf course with Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, who sat on Burisma’s board. The photo was taken in April of 2014 when Joe Biden was vice president, and just two years before Joe Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless Ukraine fired the prosecutor looking into a company paying his son $50,000 a month.

Pretty obvious how this works.

Burisma puts Hunter on its board. Pays him $50,000 a month, even though he has no experience in the energy sector, even though he doesn’t speak the language. That money sure paid off. Oh, boy, did it ever. Direct access to the vice president of the United States. The very man with the juice to threaten Ukraine if they don’t fire the guy looking into the company.

And according to Biden himself, that’s exactly what he did. He threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless the prosecutor looking into his own son’s company was fired.

According to the Post, the emails were obtained after someone left a water-damaged MacBook Pro laptop at a computer repair shop. Whoever left it, never paid for the repair or came back to get it.

“The computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April 2019, according to the store’s owner,” the Post reports.

Also on the laptop is a “raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.”

The repair shop owner could not confirm the laptop owner was Hunter Biden, but there was a sticker on the laptop from the Beau Biden Foundation. Along with he video are documents and photos that sure make it look like this was Hunter’s laptop.

The FBI seized the laptop in December, but not before the repair shop owner made a copy of the hard drive. He then gave the copy to former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Just this week we learned that Joe Biden’s son-in-law Howard Krein is chief medical officer for a firm called StartUp Health, an investment firm looking to invest in products to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, Krein is advising the Biden campaign on the coronavirus, a stunning conflict of interest, so stunning the far-left Politico reported on it.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/...raine-partners/
Right...

So a laptop gets left at an auto shop. Laptop ends up with the FBI a year ago, and then the FBI makes no noise about it. Then the employee makes a copy of the hard drive and makes sure it gets to Rudy and Bannon. Then the “emails” are actually image files rather than the actual email.

Give it a break, Fish. Get ready for President Biden.

Twitter, Facebook censor Post over Hunter Biden exposé

Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad

Both Twitter and Facebook took extraordinary censorship measures against The Post on Wednesday over its exposés about Hunter Biden’s emails — with Twitter baselessly charging that “hacked materials” were used.

The suppression effort came despite presidential candidate Joe Biden’s campaign merely denying that he had anything on his “official schedules” about meeting a Ukrainian energy executive in 2015 — along with zero claims that his son’s computer had been hacked.

The Post’s primary Twitter account was locked as of 2:20 p.m. Wednesday because its articles about the messages obtained from Biden’s laptop broke the social network’s rules against “distribution of hacked material,” according to an email The Post received from Twitter.

Twitter also blocked users from sharing the link to The Post article indicating that Hunter Biden introduced Joe Biden to the Ukrainian businessman, calling the link “potentially harmful.”

“In line with our Hacked Materials Policy, as well as our approach to blocking URLs, we are taking action to block any links to or images of the material in question on Twitter,” a Twitter spokesperson told The Post in a statement.

The company said it took the step because of the lack of authoritative reporting on where the materials included in The Post’s story originated.
FILES-US-VOTE-UKRAINE-BUSINESS-BIDEN

In a lengthier statement Wednesday night, the social media company said articles in The Post exposé, “include personal and private information — like email addresses and phone numbers — which violate our rules.”

They reiterated the baseless claim that the story relied on hacked material, but added that “commentary on or discussion about hacked materials, such as articles that cover them but do not include or link to the materials themselves, aren’t a violation of this policy.”

“Our policy only covers links to or images of hacked material themselves,” the statement says.

Users who clicked the link on Twitter were shown an alert warning them that the webpage may be “unsafe” and could contain content that would break Twitter’s rules if it were shared directly on the platform.

The extraordinary move came after Facebook said it would limit the spread of The Post’s story on its own platform. The social network added that the story would be eligible for review by independent fact-checkers.

US Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) fired off a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday demanding answers about why the platform “censored” The Post’s reporting.

“The seemingly selective nature of this public intervention suggests partiality on the part of Facebook,” Hawley wrote. “And your efforts to suppress the distribution of content revealing potentially unethical activity by a candidate for president raises a number of additional questions, to which I expect responses immediately.”

Hawley later sent a similar letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, blasting the company for what he said was “an unusual intervention that is not universally applied to all content.”

The senator demanded to know how Twitter had determined that The Post’s story was violating its policy on hacked materials and why the company had taken the “unprecedented action” to lock the news org’s account.

“I ask that you immediately answer these questions and provide the necessary justifications so that your users can feel confident that you are not seeking to influence the outcome of the presidential election with your content removal decisions,” Hawley wrote.

'Dripping sarcasm': Graham clarifies comment about segregation

Graham's opponent in the S.C. Senate race had quickly seized on the remark.

Sen. Lindsey Graham on Wednesday clarified that he was being sarcastic when he referred to the “good old days of segregation” and blasted his opponent for seeking to capitalize on the comments.

During a recess in the confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, Graham (R-S.C.) insisted to reporters that his comments were made in jest and accused Jaime Harrison of launching a disingenuous attack.

“It was with deep sarcasm that I suggested that some legislative body would want to yearn for the good old days of segregationism,” the senator said. “The point that I’m trying to make, there’s nobody in America in the legislative arena wanting to take us back to that dark period in American history and for my opponent to suggest that says far more about him than me.”

“I want to make sure that everybody in my state moves forward,” he told reporters, emphasizing that nearly a third of his constituents are Black. “And in terms of that statement, it blows my mind that any rational person could believe that about me.”

The Senate Judiciary chair made the comments offhand while discussing so-called Supreme Court super-precedent with Barrett.

While questioning Barrett’s refusal to classify the landmark abortion ruling Roe v. Wade as one such super-precedent, Graham pointed out that the Supreme Court still hears litigation targeting the ruling, unlike rulings such as Brown v. Board of Education, which deemed racial segregation in public schools unconstitutional.

“One of the reasons you can say with confidence that you think Brown v. the Board of Education is super-precedent is that you are not aware of any effort to go back to the good old days of segregation by a legislative body, is that correct?” Graham asked the judge, to which she responded in the affirmative.

Graham’s Democratic opponent in what has become a surprisingly tight Senate race seized on the remarks.

“@LindseyGrahamSC called segregation ‘the good old days,’” Harrison, who is Black, said in a tweet. “The good old days for who, Senator? It’s 2020, not 1920. Act like it.”

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them,” Harrison added in a subsequent tweet, followed by a fundraising plea.

Graham cast Harrison’s attack as below the belt, asserting that “this is not a game we’re playing here with the people of South Carolina.” And while he pointed out that “there are plenty of differences between my opponent and myself,” Graham called Harrison’s criticism “not worthy of the times in which we live” and “not worthy of an assault on me.”

He concluded: “I want to assure the people of South Carolina that statement was made with dripping sarcasm."

Maybe those emails are doctored, the evidence is in the hands of a biased party that cannot be trusted to tell you the truth.

But in general, I don't see how anyone needs hard evidence that the Biden's used political quid pro quo to enrich themselves. The synchronized timing between Biden's engagement with other countries and Hunter and other DNC members personal enrichment from those same countries paints a pretty clear picture of what exactly was going on.

Biden is not alone in using foreign aid and other deals as ways to enrich their families. It appears to be common practice among most politicians, and it is a bipartisan problem. That is why we keep giving out foreign aid even though it does nothing to benefit you or me. They give billions away to other countries, send your family members to other countries to fight like mercenaries in other countries wars, and in return get 100s of millions in kickbacks.
Yep - an issue for both sides of the isle and the man in the WH. So this is essentially an absolute nothing burger of a story - so it will no doubt get front page news by Fox and other Right Wing media outlets. Bottom line - if Hunter did anything illegal, nail him and prosecute him to the full extent of the law. But this isn't about law and order, it's about deflection and smearing and scare mongering. . . all from a WH who has taken nepotism to a new stratosphere.

'Unmasking' probe pushed by Barr ends with no charges
Former CIA Director John Brennan, one of the key figures in the investigation, told NBC News he was never interviewed in the “politically motivated probe.”

Oct. 14, 2020, 3:27 PM EDT
By Julia Ainsley and Ken Dilanian
WASHINGTON — A federal prosecutor appointed by Attorney General William Barr to look into Obama administration officials' "unmasking" of unnamed individuals in intelligence reports concluded his review without finding evidence of wrongdoing, according to a source with direct knowledge of the probe, and without interviewing former CIA Director John Brennan.

Brennan told NBC News he was not interviewed by the prosecutor, U.S. Attorney John Bash of the Western District of Texas, or anyone related to the investigation.

"I was never interviewed by anyone in the Department of Justice about unmasking, which was a politically motivated probe initiated by William Barr to please Donald Trump," Brennan said.

One other key figure in the unmasking controversy, who declined to be named, told NBC News there was no interview by Justice Department officials.

Bash was tapped by Barr to head the "unmasking" probe, according to statements made by Justice Department spokeswoman Kerri Kupec on Fox News in May. It began as a spin-off of Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham's investigation into the origins of what became special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The Washington Post was first to report that the unmasking investigation ended without producing a report or criminal charges.

Unmasking means revealing the identities of Americans whose names appeared in intelligence reports that were generated from electronic eavesdropping on foreign nationals. The names of the Americans appear in the reports because the foreigners were talking to them or about them, and those names are usually blacked out. The redactions can be lifted if doing so is necessary to help understand the intelligence.

Bash's team was tasked with examining whether Obama officials, such as Brennan, then-FBI Director James Comey or then-Vice President Joe Biden, acted inappropriately when they requested the identity of a person unnamed in intelligence reports, who turned out to be Trump's incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn.

"Looking specifically at who was unmasking whom can add a lot to our understanding about motivation and big picture events," Kupec told Fox's Sean Hannity on May 27.

It is not clear how many, if any, of the Obama administration officials were interviewed by Bash's team. A source with knowledge of how similar investigations are handled said it is possible Bash's team had enough material from other sources, such as documents, that certain interviews were not deemed necessary.

Durham has indicated he will not deliver a report prior to the Nov. 3 election.

The end of Bash's probe means it is unlikely that Trump will be able to point to politically motivated and wrongfully initiated investigations into his 2016 campaign ahead of Election Day.

Bash announced his resignation from the Justice Department last week, citing his desire to go into private practice. At the time of his resignation, Kupec said Bash's successor, Gregg Sofer, will take over any investigations Bash was overseeing, but did not comment specifically on the unmasking probe.

Kupec and Bash declined to comment on reports that the unmasking probe had concluded.

GOP Sen. Ben Sasse admitted that Trump "ignored" the coronavirus and "flirted” with white supremacy
Salon
Roger Sollenberger
,Salon•October 15, 2020

Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., ripped into President Donald Trump on a wide range of issues, telling a group of constituents in a private call earlier this year that the president "sells out our allies," "kisses dictators' butts," "mocks evangelicals" behind their backs and mistreats women.

In the call — a recording of which was released Thursday by the right-leaning Washington Examiner — Sasse also said Trump had "flirted with white supremacists" and "ignored" the coronavirus as his family "treated the presidency like a business opportunity."

While it was unclear when the call took place, Sasses's critique of Trump's pandemic response indicated it likely happened several months into this year.

Sasse — at times among the more vocal of Trump's Republican critics — is up for re-election in November, but he does not face a serious challenge in deep-red Nebraska. His name has been floated as a possible presidential candidate in 2024, and the thrust of his criticism on the call was aimed at regaining the reins of the GOP before Trump costs Republicans the Senate.

The broadside, which lasted 10 minutes, was triggered when a woman asked the senator to explain his rocky relationship with the president.

"Why do you have to criticize him so much?" she asked.

Sasse began with areas of agreement, one of which was judicial nominations. But he quickly shifted to assail Trump's politics and values as "deficient not just for a Republican but for an American."

"The way he kisses dictators' butts," Sasse said. "I mean, the way he ignores the Uighurs, our literal concentration camps in Xinjiang. Right now, he hasn't lifted a finger on behalf of the Hong-Kongers."

"The United States now regularly sells out our allies under his leadership," he added. "The way he treats women, spends like a drunken sailor. The ways I criticize President Obama for that kind of spending, I've criticized President Trump for, as well. He mocks evangelicals behind closed doors. His family has treated the presidency like a business opportunity. He's flirted with white supremacists."

Sasse moved on to the coronavirus, which he said Trump had refused to take seriously "for months," The president treated the situation like "a news cycle by news cycle PR crisis," he added.

Pointing to what he saw as overly critical media outlets, the senator cut Trump a partial break. But he added that "the reality" was that the president had "careened from curb to curb."

"First, he ignored COVID, and then he went into full economic shutdown mode. He was the one who said 10 to 14 days of shutdown would fix this, and that was always wrong," Sasse said. "And so I don't think the way he's led through COVID has been reasonable, or responsible or right."

The senator claimed that these grievances were not out of step with conservative Nebraska voters — "even the Trumpier ones."

"I think people misunderstood the meaning of 2016. Americans don't want reality TV and stupid political obsessions," Sasse said. "I've spent lots of the last year on a campaign bus, and when you listen to Nebraskans, they don't really want more rage tweeting as a new form of entertainment."

"The overwhelming reason that President Trump won in 2016 was simply because Hillary Clinton was literally the most unpopular candidate in the history of polling," he added.

An unbroken continuation of Trumpian politics, Sasse said, would invite the possibility of "a Republican bloodbath in the Senate," which was "the one political question that's most central next month" and all that stood in the way of a "Venezuela-like" future, including "30 or 40 people on the Supreme Court."

"If young people become permanent Democrats because they've just been repulsed by the obsessive nature of our politics, or if women who were willing to still vote with the Republican Party in 2016 decide that they need to turn away from this party permanently in the future, the question won't be why were you so mean to Trump," he added.

Sasse spokesman James Wegmann did not try to walk back any of the senator's comments.

"I don't know how many more times we can shout this: Even though the Beltway is obsessing exclusively about the presidential race, control of the Senate is 10 times more important," Wegmann said in a statement to the Examiner. "The fragile Senate seats that will determine whether Democrats nuke the Senate are the races Ben cares about, the races he's working on and the only races he's talking about."

Ahead of Nebraska's primary, Sasse relaxed his sporadic criticism, in the process earning one of the president's pro forma Twitter endorsements. After securing the nomination, however, the Nebraska Republican stepped back into the ring, critiquing Trump's "weak" decision to pull troops out of Germany and blasting his last-minute attempts to deliver coronavirus relief via executive order this August as "unconstitutional slop."

Trump responded to the latter attack on Twitter.

"RINO Ben Sasse, who needed my support and endorsement in order to get the Republican nomination for Senate from the GREAT State of Nebraska, has, now that he's got it (Thank you President T), gone rogue, again," the president wrote. "This foolishness plays right into the hands of the Radical Left Dems!"

It's disgusting that the media is an arm of the democratic party, as illustrated by the shows tonight.

ON one network you can see Trump getting grilled by hostile questioners, leading questions, false narratives, and lies which he overcame;

While on the other network you can see Biden getting pampered by loyalists leading him into long winded explanations of gaffes and flip flopping positions, which he muddles anyways.

Wow.
For the past 4 years, I have sounded just like this Republican.

Perhaps this has less to do with party, and more to do with principle.
I just have one question, was Joe Biden vice president at the time this happened?

If he was, it means Burisma was buying influence on United States Foreign policy and then Biden would have been a double agent for a foreign country.

What is it called being a double agent for a foreign power when you are the Vice President of the USA?

Is that the Sp word, or the TR, word, or both?

Neither. Because it didn't happen. Too many variables and changes for it to be legit. It's a desperate hail mary to try to sway votes.
Oh, it happened. There is no doubt about it.

Hunter got hired by a ukranian firm, burisma, because of his? Technical skills? No. Because he spoke the language? No. Because his dad was the v.p. of the U.S. and the drug addict wanted money? Yes.

Biden even went so far, protecting his son, as to threaten to hold back a billion dollars unless the prosecutor was fired. In Joe's own words: "well, son of a bitch, he got fired."

Hunter, raking in 10's of thousands of dollars per month for sitting on the board of some foreign country's business which he knows nothing about? Not fishy to you?

Hunter getting 3 or 3 1/2 million from the mayor of Moscow? Setting up a meeting with burisma and his dad? None of that reeks of ...............

Not really, If the Harris/Biden ticket wins, he WILL be vice president. He just won't know it, nor will he care.

"Hey, Jill, lookie, there's a red flower garden here, and a round room and.......where am I? There's green in that room, and lookie at that. Hey, where's the basement? Am I supposed to go there again? What's for dinner? Or breakfast. What day is it? Do I have to go in front of 4 reporters again, without my telly ...telpro....without that thingy that tells me what to say? Oh well, I can't read it anyway. Hey, what does Kamala want me to do?"
I think it's real. I just saw Guliani on TV showing the laptop, claiming unequivocally that it contains the hard drive in question and basically verifying everything that was in the news.

Now, I know that Guliani cannot be believed without question, but in this case, if he is lying, then he is committing multiple felonies and libel, and I just don't think Guliani is crazy enough to take that kind of risk

My addition to the "General Election, the NeverEnding Story" story:

We voted today.

We wore our masks, we stood in line, we stayed 6ft away from everyone else, and braved our personal health to do something that is central to the way My Ancestors always wanted their progeny to live. The first of My Fam wasn't allowed to vote. I am. I owe this to each and every one of them. I will never forsake them.

If My Father voluntarily risked his life for this country in the Pacific Theater of WWII, I can risk mine today in the face of this worldwide pandemic for the same reason: America.

An America that I get a say in.

She brought the mail in, and handed my absentee ballot to me while I was reading parts for an upcoming joint.

"We need to talk."
(Of course, we do- 'cause: I'm married)

"I catch s# all the time, because I have 2 or 3 signatures. And now, I have this ballot, and we need to fill it out just so, and I don't want to mess this up by writing the wrong... filling in the wrong..."

"You want to take the shortest path, don't you?"
"Yes- oh GOD yes-"

"I'll get the keys."

Our experience took 1 hour. A slow, but steady-moving queue. The serpentine cattle chute was made of 7 ft frames with transparent plastic film reaching to below the knee. We turned in our unopened absentee ballots, waited an extra moment while the election worker voided our mail-ins, and signed us in as onsite voters. When we handed our absentee ballots over to them, they walked them to a bin, dropped them in, changed gloves, and returned to the station. We were each given a packet of hand sanitizer, a straw, and an "I voted" sticker. The hand wipekin was for afterward. The sticker- we all know. The straw: use it to touch the screen. Throw it in the bin on your way out. We literally made no direct physical contact with anyone.

It was weird, in a way: to do something so familiar, in such a familiar place, with such novel features imposing themselves for the first time...

It really made me think about who we are, and where we are.
Using straws to touch computer screens, indeed.

I had a plan a few weeks ago: mail in my stuff, do America a solid (from a distance), and get a job done. I changed my mind.

I did it because My Girl needed to be in control of Her Voice.
I did it because My Pops risked his life for us to be here in 2020. And I did it because sometimes, we need to stand up and take a risk for what is right.

Today, we took the straight path.
Our voices are already being heard.

Got my ballot in the mail yesterday. I’ll fill it out while drinking my coffee this morning. Then drop it in the mail this evening. I’ll get a text when it’s been counted. So easy. No lines.
Lmao, ok conservatives, America won’t vote for Hunter Biden.

He’s not on the ticket, but I’ll make sure not to write his name in.

You could vote for the guy that has a plan for the country to help get COVID under better control, tax the super wealthy to raise tax revenue, and wants to protect Medicare and social security... or you can vote for the guy that thinks maybe Qanon could be right and Bin Ladin is living in Phoenix.
Is it really that tough?

If the information is true, then what it shows is that the Biden family members were receiving money for Joe Biden's influence and were required to then pass on half the money to Joe.

It's a big accusation. It incorporates Bribery, Racketeering, and Tax Evasion, probably a bunch of other crimes that I am not smart enough to know about.

On the other hand, if Guliani is lying, then he is involved in election interference and defamation.

Either way, it's not nothing or just an implications of Hunter Biden's issues.
You got your wish. You get another conservative SC Judge who’s going to help eliminate affordable healthcare and LBGT/Women’s rights. So now you don’t have to vote for a lying POS like trump. thumbsup
If.

You know what is reality? Trump hired his corrupt son in law as national security adviser, who couldn’t get a security clearance due to his corrupt and shady background.

You conservatives need to understand that the majority of the country not only doesn’t take this serious with hunter, but laughs at conservatives who bring this up but ignore the blatant nepotism in the WH going on RIGHT now.

But yea, you’ve convinced people not to vote for hunter Biden. Good job, I guess.
I want to know who in trumps circle would have highly benefited from the sales of hydroxychloroquine.

Don’t bother.

They’re running the 2016 campaign playbook. Just let them.

I vaguely remember him saying he would sit out this election cycle (on the board, anyway).

What Trump sounded like whn asked if he had been tested for Covid before the presidential debate.

Tabloid sources supporting a tabloid president.
I voted today as well. Daughter drove from Toledo and met me Napoleon at the county offices so she could vote as well.

Waited about a minute. I.d., sign in, get the ballot, go to the machine, stick it in, vote. Hit print. Take ballot to another computer, stick it in, 5 seconds, done.

I also dropped my wife's absentee ballot where it was supposed to go. (she wanted that, as opposed to in person voting, because she was afraid to wait because 'what if they shut the polls down before we can get there?)

We drove our ballots to the board of elections and dropped them off there. Felt good. These next few weeks can’t go by quickly enough.
Going to vote next week in person/early. Can't believe the crazy lines but am happy to see them across the country. Trump can count on my vote!
Early voting just began yesterday here in Tennessee. Most places are swamped right now so my wife and I are going to go in the middle of the week next week. The strategy is to wait out the early birds yet beat the rush of of the procrastinators. It works great when we get our emissions testing done annually.

I don't consider myself conservative and I am trying to be fair. That's why I tried to give both sides; if it is true and if it is not true.

I agree that a lot of the country does not take this seriously, I don't know about 50%, but I would say between 30 and 40% won't take it serious. I would say that once people are completely bought into one political party or the other, they are pretty much willing to excuse any bad behavior, and that goes both ways. It applies to Trump and his kids as well.

I think that it is completely illogical to defend someone that has a history of political corruption and self-dealing, when one of the most frequent criticism of the opposing candidate is political corruption and self-dealing. It makes absolutely no sense. The solution to corruption cannot be more corruption.

The story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf would indicate that with each passing lie over the past four years, less and less people have believed him as time has gone by.

Even many of those who are voting for him admit you can't believe him. At some point the question of credibility creeps in. I would agree with you that those who have complete tunnel vision will believe anything he says no matter how many lies he has, and continues to tell.

I really don't get him. Why did he choose to make his legacy into a circus???

All he had to do was keep a low profile after he was done as NYC mayor and he would have kept a very good legacy in the history books.

Instead we get this caricature.

FBI probing if Russia involved in Hunter Biden email story
By ERIC TUCKER 2 hours ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI is investigating whether emails that were published by the New York Post related to Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, are connected to a possible Russian influence operation to spread disinformation, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The newspaper said in its story Wednesday that it had obtained a hard drive from Rudy Giuliani containing the emails, and that the messages were found on a laptop that had been left last year at a Delaware computer repair shop for service but never retrieved.

The unlikely account of how the emails surfaced raised immediate questions about Russian involvement, particularly because U.S. officials have warned that Russia — which backed Trump’s 2016 campaign through hacking and a covert social media campaign — is interfering again this year.

The episode is being investigated as part of a possible Russian influence operation, according to a person familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press to discuss an ongoing matter. It underscores the extent to which Giuliani, through his activities, is a risk to a White House that spent years shadowed by a federal investigation into whether Trump associates had coordinated with Russia.

The authenticity of the emails remained unclear as of Friday, including whether they were hacked or possibly forged or both. Giuliani did not respond to an Associated Press request for comment, but he said in a Fox News interview Friday that the material was “authentic as hell.”

An FBI spokeswoman declined to comment Friday, citing the bureau’s practice of neither confirming nor denying investigations.

NBC News was the first to report the FBI’s investigation.

Just wondering out loud here.... hell, if Trump can post Qanon theories on twitter I can talk out loud to myself right?

I wonder if it is plausible that the Russian's hacked Hunter's emails from somewhere. Told dumb and dumber that they had some goodies... then they hatched a cockamammy story to plant the scraped/hacked emails onto a laptop at a friendly computer repair shop for them to hand over once the system was magically fixed? ... Of course Dumb and Dumber have no idea what's real and what's not and what was planted/written by Russia. . . . Hope we learn and get to the bottom of this.

And ... anyone quoted Rudy (Dumb) as being credible or making any sense has lost the plot. Rudy sold his soul many years ago to the devil - and lost his marbles shortly after. My god - the man makes Biden look like a Harvard professor.

Why would it have to be Russia? In fact, why would it involve a state actor at all? It could be any hacker or any person for that matter.
It could be anyone.

But based on history and what we know of the Trump's campaign and their close ties to all things Russia ... Russia is what I was speculating on.
And the Trump's campaign contacts and communications with Russia are FACT. Including Manafort sharing polling data with Russia. Just to be clear. Someone here might even remember the number of contacts the FBI or intelligence agencies sited. I think it was over 200.... and anything more than a dozen would have been unprecedented.

I know it's Russia that's behind it. My buddy's dad is a truck driver and his main route is to NYC. He frequently eats at The Russian Tea Room where they "don't" have ties to the Russian mafia "wink wink". While he was there 2 weeks ago he overheard a couple of the guys who work there talking about it while they were out back on a cigarette break.

He didn't think anything about it at the time because he thought they were joking but now he knows otherwise. Good thing he recorded it just in case. He has been talking to Rudy Guiliani about it. But Rudy told him to destroy the tapes.

As ridiculous as that sounds, it is just as plausible as Rudy's story.
Most data breaches are caused by people with local physical access to data sources. Could be a lost or stolen phone, an angry ex-girlfriend, lost thumbdrive. In the event that it involved a remote malicious user, it could have come from anywhere.

Russian conspiracies are getting old.
Let's just say that we have entered the twilight zone where what appears in front of you cannot be believed.

Yep, it took a few years, but we are living in a 1984 world.
So are we thinking the attempted October surprise was another act of collusion? tsktsk

Twitter requiring New York Post to delete old tweets containing Hunter Biden story to regain access to account

by Anthony Leonardi

October 16, 2020

The New York Post is required to delete all tweets containing its story on Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden before its Twitter account is unlocked, according to the tech giant.

A Twitter spokesperson told the Washington Examiner on Friday that the company was no longer censoring tweets that contain the story as the private information that was once of concern is now widely available in the press and on other digital platforms. However, it is not retroactively changing its enforcement decisions and is requiring the outlet to delete old tweets containing the story that it said were in violation of its policies.

The Washington Examiner reached out to the New York Post for comment.

The story Twitter censored from the New York Post purported to show evidence Hunter Biden facilitated communications between his father and Vadym Pozharskyi, who served as an adviser to the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma that the younger Biden was once on. The Biden campaign denied that an official meeting between the two occurred.

Twitter locked the outlet out of its account and prevented users from sharing the article in tweets and direct messaging. As of Friday evening, the last tweet sent by the New York Post was on Wednesday at 2:16 p.m.

Biden has stated he won't raise your taxes unless you earn over $400K. Biden isn't going to move the dial on abortion (imo) and Trump has packed the supreme court with Anti Abortionists. I don't see a change there either way. I mean - if you pay attention to the people who have worked closely with Trump there is a common theme with many of them all coming out against Trump.

I hope you find a reason to vote for someone even if it's not the guy I agree with and even if it's because the other guy is worse ... not voting at all isn't something I am a fan of at all.
I wrestled with not voting at all the last election ( I might have voted for Satan in the last election as he was better than the two choices, as he would be in this election wink

I just read this.

NO! No matter how many folks vote democrat, even if it' only 15%, which is about right.

The Democrats machine is going to flood fradulant votes into the system, and this year, they have the machine set up for unlimited numbers.

So even in a race of 100 voters, if 85 of them voted republican, the democrats would gladly flood an extra 130, (150), or so fake ballots into the mix,
2 weeks after the vote, (5-6 weeks)

So the final of 145+ to 85 would give the Dems a 60% majority even though there are only 100 voters in the whole community.

and 85% of them voted Republican.

It really has me considering not voting.
Rudy Giuliani said there's a '50/50' chance he worked with a Russian spy to obtain harmful information about the Bidens
Business Insider
Connor Perrett
,Business Insider•October 17, 2020

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City and one of President Donald Trump's personal lawyers, said in an interview with The Daily Beast that there was a "50/50" chance one of his associates was a spy for Russia.

"The chance that Derkach is a Russian spy is no better than 50/50," Giuliani said, referring to his associate, the Ukrainian government official Andrii Derkach whom the US Treasury Department in September designated for sanctions over his "attempting to influence the US electoral process."

The former mayor told The Daily Beast he believed the sanctions against Derkach were the result of "an intelligence ploy to try to create problems for Trump." As The Daily Beast noted, a number of Giuliani associates have been arrested by US law enforcement or otherwise barred from entering the US.

When asked if he was worried that the information he had provided to The New York Post as part of its recent series of reports about stolen data from a hard drive that supposedly belonged to Democratic nominee Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, was the result of the 2019 hacking of Ukrainian natural-gas company Burisma Holdings, where the younger Biden served on the board beginning in 2014, Giuliani told the outlet it "wouldn't matter," and asked "what's the difference?"

As Business Insider previously reported, the New York Post's reporting is filled with holes and red flags that raise questions about its authenticity, including whether the leaked emails are legitimate, how they were obtained, and who obtained them.

In its report, The New York Post said it had first been alerted to the documents by former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and received them from Guiliani, as Business Insider previously reported. Giuliani in the interview told The Daily Beast he decided against revealing the specifics about how he obtained the information because he believed the media would report on that rather than the contents of the stolen documents themselves.

At the center of the emails is a supposed email sent by Biden's son, Hunter, now 50, which purported to show him communicating with a Ukrainian official about meeting with his father, Joe Biden, the then vice president. The elder Biden told reporters on Friday he believed the story to be a "smear campaign."

Also in the interview, Giuliani told The Daily Beast he believed claims or concerns that the recent leaks were part of a disinformation campaign orchestrated by a foreign government "were a bunch of bulls--t." Giuliani, 76, also confirmed that he had previously informed President Trump about the contents of the leaked files.

"Sure, sure. The president knows all about this," he told The Daily Beast, adding that other top Republicans, like Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, had previously been informed about the content of hacked information, according to the report.

I just read this.

NO! No matter how many folks vote democrat, even if it' only 15%, which is about right.

The Democrats machine is going to flood fradulant votes into the system, and this year, they have the machine set up for unlimited numbers.

Source on alleged Hunter Biden email chain verifies message about Chinese investment firm
Sources have told Fox News that 'the big guy' is a reference to the former vice president.

By Sam Dorman, Mike Emanuel | Fox News

New Hunter Biden emails detail alleged dealings with China

Emails were written by the Democratic nominee's son; Mike Emanuel has the latest on 'Special Report'

One of the people on an explosive email thread allegedly involving Hunter Biden has corroborated the veracity of the messages, which appear to outline a payout for former Vice President Joe Biden as part of a deal with a Chinese energy firm.

One email, dated May 13, 2017, and obtained by Fox News, includes a discussion of “remuneration packages” for six people in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm. The email appeared to identify Hunter Biden as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” in an apparent reference to now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co.

The email includes a note that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.” A proposed equity split references “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” with no further details. Fox News spoke to one of the people who was copied on the email, who confirmed its authenticity.

Sources told Fox News that "the big guy" is a reference to the former vice president. The New York Post initially published the emails and other controversial messages that Fox News has also obtained.

The Bidens' relationship with Ukraine came under special attention last year as House Democrats pursued an impeachment inquiry surrounding President Trump's now-infamous July 25 call with Ukraine's president. In it, Trump asked President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate the former vice president, who was suspected of abusing his authority to pressure the government into firing its top prosecutor.

Another email from May of 2014 shows Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Burisma's board, allegedly shows him asking for the younger Biden's advice on how to stop "politically motivated actions."

“We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc. to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions," it reads. And less than a year later, a purported email from Pozharskyi shows him thanking Hunter Biden for an invitation to meet his father.

Biden's campaign has denied wrongdoing and claimed that the former vice president's schedule showed no meeting taking place, though Politico later clarified that the campaign wouldn't rule out the possibility that the former vice president had an informal interaction with Pozharskyi. The campaign also said it has released the former vice president’s tax documents and returns, which do not reflect any involvement with Chinese investments.

Politico later clarified that the campaign wouldn't rule out the possibility that the former vice president had an informal interaction with Pozharskyi.

Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates also said: "Investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees whose work was decried as 'not legitimate' and political by a GOP colleague have all reached the same conclusion: that Joe Biden carried out official U.S. policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing. Trump administration officials have attested to these facts under oath."

As truthful as this video is: it is more sad to watch.

Not about political opponents policies trump makes it about gender equality.

Proof. The Michigan governor was threatened with her life by domestic terrorists. Repeat that to yourself.

trump then encouraged the people in that state to "lock her up."

How does that play for a president who took an oath of office to protect the citizens of the "United States?"

Man Arrested In Threat To Kidnap and Kill Wichita Mayor Over Mask Mandate

A Wichita man has been arrested for an alleged threat to kidnap and kill Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple (D) over frustration with the city’s mask mandate.

Per the Witchita Eagle, the suspect had expressed opposition to “masks and tyranny,” in a series of texts reviewed by the city’s mayor.

“He said he was going to kidnap me and slash my throat and he needed my address because I needed to see the hangman,” Whipple said.

“It sounded like the person was very upset about pretty much mask mandates and he said something about not being able to see his mother because of COVID restrictions on elderly homes,” he added.

The news comes months after Whipple in July pushed for a city ordinance requiring face coverings to be worn in most public spaces in an effort to curb the spread of coronavirus amid a wave of similar mandates in other cities and states nationwide.

According to the Eagle, the suspect, Meredith Dowty, 59, a retired Wichita city firefighter, was also a well-known local musician who plays guitar and harmonica and has performed in local bars and nightclubs under the name “Cathead.”

Years before his alleged threat to kidnap and kill the mayor over mask requirements, Dowty was honored for his service by the Wichita City Council in 2008 for helping to save the life of a Wichita police officer who was shot in the line of duty, the Eagle reported.

According to the Eagle, Dowty was also notably among the first rescuers on the scene at a 1998 explosion of the DeBruce Grain Elevator south of Wichita, helping to remove four seriously injured people from the damaged elevator which killed seven and injured 10 employees.

Dowty who was placed behind bars at Sedgwick County Jail on Friday evening could face a charge of criminal threat the police told the Eagle.

Wichita police spokesman Charley Davidson confirmed to the paper that the department is investigating the threat and did not as of Friday evening believe that other officials had been targeted in the case.

The case is the latest example of how President Donald Trump’s months-long tirade against masks, mocking officials who wear them while refusing to wear one himself has appeared to promote sometimes violent consequences.

The President after falling ill with COVID-19 earlier this month, only recently offered tepid acceptance of masks during a Thursday night town hall on NBC — saying he was “okay with masks” after a long record of politicizing the point of guidance from public health officials to promote a fiery debate that appears to be on the verge of drawing blood in recently foiled plots.

The reported threat comes just weeks after a foiled alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, (D) who was targeted for restrictions in her state amid efforts to protect against the virus’ spread.

13 men were charged with various state and federal crimes in the Whitmer case, including terrorism and conspiracy in the alleged kidnapping scheme to put Whitmer on trial for “treason.”

On Tuesday, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam was revealed as a second Democratic target for what authorities have said were violent plots against lockdown orders to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Whipple, also a Democrat, has said he believes Dowty’s posed a credible threat and that he will need additional security to protect his family in the aftermath of the alleged threat.

“This wasn’t just some guy popping off on social media,” Whipple said. “He contacted someone that knows where I live that apparently he thought would give him my address.”

Let's review the week for just a second......

Trump Promotes Baseless, QAnon-Endorsed Conspiracy Theory Alleging Obama Staged Bin Laden’s Killing

https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackbrewste...g/#320a5ca05b16

This one compelled the Seal team member who actually shot Bin Laden to speak out. Once again Trump questioned the performance of our military and even promoted the assertion that Obama had the Seal team killed.

Then when faced with it, claims he didn't know what the hell he was doing. Seems like he agrees with Biden voters on that one.

Trump says he doesn't know much about QAnon but has heard it likes him

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-t...m-idUSKCN25F2SI

And this says it all. He doesn't care what you say, how dangerous you are or what you promote, as long as you like him.

‘Where are all of the arrests?’: Trump demands Barr lock up his foes

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/07/trump-demands-barr-arrest-foes-427389

Only dictators and third world country leaders demand their justice officials lock up their opponents.

This is how low our nation has become. This is what people are voting for. This is the type of person who causes people to say, "I can't make up my mind who to vote for". This is the type of person people have to spend a lot of their time making excuses. This is embarrassing the nation I love.
As long as their Orange God keeps endorsing hate this will only get worse.

Just yesterday, even after all that's happened, he was out at a campaign rally in Michigan supporting they lock up Whitmer and "lock them all up".

He speaks, people act then his supporters have to pretend and lie that he holds no responsibility for anything. Personal responsibility. Another one of their principals they have had to abandon to support Pocapornstar. Sad really.
This was me, 3 days ago:

Top 10 Reasons not to vote!

1. Your vote doesn't count. As long as the secret society and fradulant counting goes on, your vote won't have any value. It would be similar if trillions of counterfeit dollars flooded one community, it would devalue actual dollars.

2. They want you to vote. The most advertised common theme is everybody vote, vote vote vote, and don't forget to vote. It would point to the secret society pretending it's legitimate because the population were stupid enough to actually cast a vote, thus giving them legitimacy.

3. The Virus propaganda, real, as real as it is, and fake, as fake as it is, is clearly a reason NOT to vote. The manipulation of the population by mandate through media is a clear sign that whatever anyone is voting for, is, or at least seems, with at least some evidence, an ancient idea of a governing system that no longer has any legitimacy.

4. They advertise the vote. It is a reason NOT to vote because the illegitmate secret society uses it's media to long tout the count of the vote. Anything that is advertised this much, must be an attempt to control you. And I'm saying, somewhere, they mock your or our participation.

5. The 2 party system. If anything, the simpleness of a "2" party system is direct evidence that a vote system of elections and the government is not legitimate, or is not the real source of power, but rather a clever attempt, successful as it is,
to control the minds of the population, and in mass.

6. Do I really need to come up with 10? How about this. The CNN election map debut'ed before the 2000 election and even then

CNN was a left leaning org. and CNN's map was the FIRST PLACE where Republicans were given BLUE state colors
and Democrats were given RED state colors, only on CNN'S INTERACTIVE MAP!

Thus Giving rise to 2 decades of "accepted" dogma, that Republican leaning areas are "Blue" areas, and Democrat leaning areas are "Red" areas,
But, in actuality , everyone knows I have switched the Red and Blue colors, BUT
it illustrates, these colors are only assigned by "CNN" a left leaning org?? therefore not legitimate.

7th reason not to vote.
8th
9th
10th.
What's this secret society?
You should never vote again. thumbsup
Okay Spanky... lmao
Make sure to line your room with tin foil
I heard that tying a plastic bag over your head with the tin foil keeps all the liberal signals from getting through... just saying.
So when Biden wins, how long until they're calling for a special council on Hunter?
I repeat: Dude - it seems like you actually believe this and I truly feel very sorry for you. I mean how terrifying would it be to be someone that thinks for real that you live in a country like that?
Why I titled this "the NeverEnding Story Chapter 1" is because this election won't get busy until after voting day ends and the court battles begin.

As in the year 2000, states will be challenged, and when it is challenged it will be court actions that involve the Governors and Secretary of states of individual state,

In most cases, State (secretaries of state) certify the election results, and cries of Fowl! are (I think sometimes involve), the state legislatures.

15 Days out lets look at some names to watch out for.

In Ohio, The Secretary of State is Frank Larose: R, a Republican,
The Ohio Governor is Mike Dewine R, a Republican who has come out against Trump: let's say a Rino.

The Ohio state legislature (as most state- every state legis. I looked at, (15 of them) has 2 houses, the "House", and the "Senate"
Each State Legis. I looked at consists of a differeing total number of participants, but each consistently had more participants/(Members) in that states "House" than that same states "Senate".

For Ohio, the Ohio House has 99 members, (61R) and (38D).

These are some things we need to learn to follow the results of this election which will take weeks to count the results, beginning after Nov 3rd.

Things we need to learn for each state, in order to follow newsstories.

In order for fellow members of Dawgtalkers to follow the results we'll have to live with, fair or not,

To understand the challenges and percentages of votes counted and what action each state takes to certify their election.

To actually find out who will "win" the presidential election, even if it is stolen, which should take at least 40 hours after the election,
and maybe as much as 5-15 weeks.

On Trump's farewell, "No Mask Super Spreader Tour" he is now attacking Fauci by calling him a disaster. Just a couple of days ago he called him something even worse.... a Democrat.

‘Fauci’s a disaster’: Trump attacks health officials in fiery campaign call

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/19/fauci-trump-wearing-mask-weakness-430114

Meanwhile, Dr. Scott Atlas, a radiologist with no experience in infectious diseases is who Trump called "an expert" at his town haul. Well let's see what his expert is saying......

Birx tells friends she was relieved after Trump adviser Scott Atlas' inaccurate mask tweet was removed

Members of the White House coronavirus task force are praising a move by Twitter removing a misleading tweet from top Trump adviser Dr. Scott Atlas that told Americans masks don't work.

The tweet's removal was a "relief" among some task force members, Dr. Deborah Birx told friends over the weekend, according to a source with knowledge of the conversation.

Atlas, a neuroradiologist and President Donald Trump's hand-picked coronavirus adviser, had undermined the importance of face masks with misinformation in a Saturday Twitter post.

"Masks work? NO," Atlas wrote, followed by a series of misrepresentations about the science behind the effectiveness of masks in combating the pandemic.

The tweet and its subsequent removal comes as coronavirus cases spike across the US and other members of the task force have taken to the airwaves to urge Americans to heed basic mitigation strategies, including mask usage and social distancing.

Birx also told friends fighting the virus is "hard enough (without Atlas)."

She also suggested the task force is frustrated by Atlas' ability to find obscure information, label it as data and "present (it) to the President as scientific evidence," an almost insurmountable challenge.

"If he likes the sound of it, he believes it," Birx has said of Trump.
Atlas has emerged as a key influence on the President in recent weeks as the task force and its key public health experts have been swept aside by politics and competing interests.

Task force officials haven't briefed reporters at the White House in weeks, though the group continues to consistently brief the nation's governors and provide states with weekly reports and recommendations. Those recommendations, however, go largely unheeded by the President as he travels across the country holding packed rallies ahead of the election.
According to Twitter, the policy Atlas violated with his weekend tweet prohibits sharing false or misleading content related to Covid-19 that could lead to harm.

The message pushed by the controversial neuroradiologist also goes against guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which recommends people wear masks in public settings and when around people who don't live in their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Atlas has also advocated internally for a herd immunity strategy to combat the pandemic, the idea of allowing the virus to circulate freely. Though he has explicitly denied that he is pushing a herd immunity strategy, an administration official has previously told CNN all of the policies Atlas has pushed for are in the vein of a herd immunity strategy.

Atlas has rejected the need for widespread community testing, arguing that the administration should focus almost exclusively on protecting and testing elderly populations while pushing for the rest of the economy to return to normal, this official said.

"Everything he says and does points toward herd immunity," the senior administration official said.

Many public health experts, including World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, have warned that the "herd immunity" approach is dangerous.

"Allowing a dangerous virus that we don't fully understand to run free is simply unethical," Tedros said during a briefing on Monday. "It's not an option.

Wow!

20 for Hunter and 10 held by Hunter for Joe Biden:

It... It reminds me of old days of the Dukes of Hazzard show, Boss Hogg and Roscoe P Coletrane, where Roscoe would always say,

"and when I get 50% of your 50%, a goo goo goo good"
And Boss would Glare at him because it wasn't going to be true.
Rudy? Is that you?
Well you know the story. Hunter was so drunk he dropped his laptop off with all of this damaging information on it to be fixed by a legally blind computer repairman and even though businesses hand out receipts, he somehow couldn't figure out where he had left it.

Then after the laptop with all of this information on it had been abandoned, the legally blind computer repairman hacked into Hunters e-mail and stole personal information by copying the hard drive. Which is a felony. Then, somehow he had the number to the "Rudy Guliani Hotline". And well, you know the rest of the story...

rofl
And, if I'm not mistaken, they're blaming it on the russians, right?

Oddly enough, just as the anti trump crowd did in San Francisco on Saturday, causing a mini riot and injuries to some pro trump demonstrators, and 3 police officers - which you don't read about because you can't (I did read on cnn sunday morning about it - 15 minutes later the link was gone - weird, isn't it?)

Hunter's cohorts, at least, 2 of them, are in jail awaiting trial for the whole Burisma thing, and the China thing............yet you can't read about that either, which is really strange in my opinion that the main stream media doesn't plaster that all over.

And, is Joe Biden really done with campaigning until after the next debate?
And, the media is in full on deflection/denial mode.

Discrediting facts because they don't like them, makes Biden look bad.

I mean, the msm has NEVER used anonymous sources, right?

People writing books about Trump are to be believed regardless, knowing the authors have no way to verify the info other than "I heard...."........and the fact the authors are trying to sell books, for their own profit.

I find it odd.
World of difference between writers writing articles and reporting on things and not naming their source.

What the article you posted says is the REPORTER didn't want his own name associated with his own article.

Incorrect. The article I posted said someone from the NY Times said he didn't want his name on it.

Subtle, but major difference. Again, an example of the msm trying to create a false belief....you know, throw in doubt about facts, then report it as true. Been happening a lot recently.
So.... Trump / GOP Tactic is always, always, always to attack the source. Regardless of the information and validity of an article or item of news.

You are saying that because the NY Times wrote a piece about the NY Post - and said that the a reporter from the NY Post wouldn't put his name to the article .... what? I am not sure.

I'm not being obtuse, I am trying to figure it out.

I'll be honest with you - I am coming from the position that I think the laptop story and every thing sensational that comes from it is highly questionable at best ... but I don't get the issue with the 2 reports.
Your assertion seems to indicate every fact that we know about before this story came out should be ignored in order to believe it.

The fact that Guliani is known for a fact to have worked with a known Russian agent to try and dig up dirt on Hunter Biden.

The fact that Trump was told that Guliani was being influenced by the Russians.

The fact that the FBI is looking into how this story may have been planted by the Russians.

The fact that Guliani doesn't even work for the government and as Trump's personal attorney he isn't given any access to government investigations. So this is some story he somehow managed to find all on his own.

Then there's the fact that Trump's former attorney received a prison sentence for covering up for Trump.

So yes, if we avoid all of those facts, we might be naive enough to take such a wild story at face value. Or maybe, just maybe, those who believe it at face value only do so because it's what they want to believe.
The facts that you and others ignore about Biden is the concern. When any negative comes out, it's poopoohed and trashed instantly. Heck, even twitter and facebook don't allow it.

Russian collusion, even though it was the dems that did it?

(or, started it)

Nah, the left ignores facts. The msm aids and abets that.

It's hard watching the world you imagined disintegrating before your eyes... but the good news is that there are meds for this.

Meh.... if you want to vote by mail, how hard is it to get your mail in ballot sent at least 7-8 days before the election? C'mon. There can't be that many undecided voters ... and even if there is, they will be roughly split between Trump and Biden. Just send the damn votes in early.

Definitely agree - except a lot of people have been receiving their mail-in ballots very late.

Summit county was more than a week late sending things out -- there are supposedly two week delays in some areas of Pennsylvania etc.

“Rather than seeking to build on the legacy of the Republican Party’s founders, of which Trump is surely ignorant, Trump has posited a single purpose for the GOP — the celebration of him,” Steele asserted.

“Consequently, America has watched as the Republican Party stopped pursuing its animating principles of freedom and opportunity,” he continued. “It has given up its voice on things that mattered and instead bent the arc of the party towards the baser motives of one man, who is neither a Republican nor a conservative.”

Steele noted that he disagrees with Biden “on many issues and policies, sometimes vigorously.”

“But this election is not about those issues or policies,” the ex-RNC chair wrote. “Rather, it is about the course of a nation and the character of her people reflected in the leader they choose.”

That should be your voting decision right there. He doesnt know how to govern in a national emergency. What emergency will come up in the next 4 years that he will have no clue how to manage? And what will his motivation on decision making be? His only motivation for every decision he has made the last 4 years has been based on will it help him get reelected. I guess all decisions in the next 4 years would be how he can make more money for himself and his family. Even if it causes death of US citizens.

More stupidity from the village idiot...

Trump trashes Fauci and makes baseless coronavirus claims in campaign call

A frustrated and at times foul-mouthed President Donald Trump claimed on a campaign call that people are tired of hearing about the deadly pandemic which has killed more than 215,000 Americans and trashed Dr. Anthony Fauci as a "disaster" who has been around for "500 years."

Referring to Fauci and other health officials as "idiots," Trump declared the country ready to move on from the health disaster, even as cases are again spiking and medical experts warn the worst may be yet to come.
Baselessly claiming that if Fauci was in charge more than half a million people would be dead in the United States, Trump portrayed the recommendations offered by his own administration to mitigate spread of the disease as a burdensome annoyance.

"People are tired of Covid. I have the biggest rallies I've ever had, and we have Covid," Trump said, phoning into a call with campaign staff from his namesake hotel in Las Vegas, where he spent two nights amid a western campaign swing. "People are saying whatever. Just leave us alone. They're tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots."

"Fauci is a nice guy," Trump went on. "He's been here for 500 years."
A Trump adviser later questioned the wisdom of attacking Fauci just two weeks before the election. The adviser described the President's comments as "not smart" because they keep the focus on the coronavirus pandemic, the one topic campaign officials would like to avoid the most.

Fauci has been the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984 and is a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force. At almost the same time Trump was fuming on the phone, Fauci was being awarded the National Academy of Medicine's first-ever Presidential Citation for Exemplary Leadership during a virtual ceremony. Fauci said that he was "speechless" while receiving the recognition.

"We have a lot of challenges ahead of us and I can't help thinking that we're really going through a time that's disturbingly anti-science in certain segments of our society," Fauci said during the virtual event.
Trump openly criticized Fauci as his campaign is currently airing a television ad featuring the doctor that implies Fauci endorsed Trump's handling of the pandemic.

Fauci has disputed the ad, saying his words were taken out of context, and asked the campaign to take it down. But the ad was widely seen as an acknowledgment by the President's campaign staff that Fauci has credibility with voters who have rejected Trump's response.

The President is trailing in polling to Democratic rival Joe Biden in part due to his mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic. Trump recently returned to the campaign trail after being diagnosed with the virus himself and has shunned public health protocols for his political rallies. On the call, the President again mocked Biden's social distancing measures.

As he barnstorms electoral battlegrounds, Trump has been casting about for a closing message that resonates with voters addled by the virus and wary of his response. Attempts by his advisers to convince Trump to adopt a more serious tone about the pandemic have been halting. At a rally in Nevada on Sunday, Trump attempted to attack Biden by saying his rival would "listen to the scientists" if elected president.

By contrast, Trump has stopped attending meetings of his coronavirus task force, which has waned dramatically in influence. Instead the President has relied on the counsel of Dr. Scott Atlas, a radiologist whose views on mask wearing and other mitigation practices are at odds with nearly every scientific opinion.

The dynamic has caused tensions among the government's health officials, including with Fauci, whose warnings about the virus Trump has bristled at for months.

"Fauci is a disaster. If I listened to him, we'd have 500,000 deaths," he said on the campaign call on Monday, before later saying it would be 700,000 or 800,000.

"If there's a reporter on, you can have it just the way I said it, I couldn't care less," Trump said. CNN was given access to the call by a source.

Trump's attempt to shore up his campaign staff 15 days before Election Day came amid widespread worries among Republicans that his inability to hone a final message will have dire effects not only for his own race but for control of the US Senate.

Even as his anger was evident on the call, Trump sought to project optimism.

"This is the single best I have ever been in any campaign," Trump said regarding his reelection chances. "Today is the best single day that I've felt on either campaign."

"We are going to win," he said "I wouldn't have said that three weeks ago."
After stories emerged about early campaign finger-pointing ahead of a potential loss, Trump insisted he was satisfied with the work his team is doing -- including his chief of staff Mark Meadows, who has been blamed internally for badly mismanaging Trump's Covid diagnosis and subsequent hospitalization.

"I love Mark Meadows. It took me two years to get him out of Congress. Mark Meadows is doing a good job. I'm not dismissing him."

https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/19/politics/donald-trump-anthony-fauci-coronavirus/index.html

And Trump's Farewell/Super Spreader Tour continues. And the crowds go wild.

Because the left wants to rush into "green" and damn the results for the American people. I am all for clean energy, BUT not at the cost of hundreds of thousands of jobs, and increased prices to the consumer. Many Americans yell and scream about how bad coal mining jobs are in West Virginia, Ohio, and other states and they want it shut down, but you don't hear one single damn peep from them when other countries take our jobs and mine coal while our coal miners lose their jobs. Some americans bitch and cry about coal being dirty and wanting to shut down America's coal mines, yet they don't say a word about others counties poluting with coal.

I don't often bring up religion in my posts but, the Bible says love thy neighbor as thyself. Yet many americans want to say screw my neighbor and go people who live across the globe from us.

Yet you stand there proud to endorse murdering American babies.

Abortion has killed 4 times more Americans in the last year than Covid.

Since it appears your head was to thick to notice what I said before. I said once already I have NEVER posted a sign in my yard, on my house, on my car, or anywhere else supporting or bashing a candidate for any political position.
So with all the deregulation by Trump and the promises Trump made about bringing coal back, how many coal jobs have been created over the past four years?

I gave you proof that it's the energy industry moving forward with the BP link above that it's actually they who see where the future is leading. Time marches on and it has nothing to do with anything but how things have always worked. As time passes things change.

BP isn't cutting oil production by 40% and investing that back into green energy based on which politicians will be in charge.

I'm not trying to pick a fight here -- but the Abortion rate:

Declined by 2% between 1980-1988 (Reagan Presidency)
Declined by 5% between 1988-1992 (GBush Presidency)
Declined by 27% between 1992 - 2000 (Clinton Presidency)
Declined by 5% between 2000-2008 (GWBush Presidency)
Declined by 21% between 2008-2016 (Obama Presidency)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_statistics_in_the_United_States

I accept that you are a sincere pro-life person -- and that you would like to see the process of abortion banned by law. With ACB, you might get that already (regardless of who becomes president).

But there is an important social method of preventing abortion too - and that is offering: good healthcare, parental leave, pre-school and other childcare opportunities, and economic security to women who have to make that decision.

Democratic presidents have been much more effective at that n the past. Biden has a ton of platforms in his healthcare agenda, childcare agenda, and employment agenda that will again significantly decrease the abortion rate in America.

EDIT: Changed from Abortions/1000 Women to Abortions/1000 Live Births, which seemed like a better statistic.

Oh I agree that the future is green bro. I just don't want our government shoving it down our throats while costing us jobs, and lower energy costs. If the government want's to shove it down our throat then make it cheaper or at least close to the same cost. Then 99 percent of Americans will be on board.

WOW either you have not listened to a word I said over the years, or you were just to stubborn to look up the facts bro.

I have been yelling on this site for YEARS that there was no way in hell for coal to keep going once Obama KILLED IT. NO company in America is going to be stupid enough to invest billions in a project that the government is going to shut down if the Dems are in charge. Trump rolled back regulations.... big deal. Do you really believe any company in their right mind is going to invest 100's of millions into a coal plant when the government might step in after the next election and shut them down. Come on bro even people with IQ's lower than 50 ain't that stupid.
One thing we could do that would save a bunch of money -- and make the US greener -- is to cut the $649 billion in fossil fuel subsidies we issue every year

It seems you have decided which jobs you feel are more important. Let's look at that for just a minute. As we have both said, green energy is the future. The timetable is really the only thing up for debate here.

The change over, manufacturing and services of green energy will create jobs and net job loss may not even exist. It may create an overall job gain.

You may wish to actually compare the cost of green energy to fossil fuels. It's not nearly as costly as just ten years ago.

Renewable Energy Costs Take Another Tumble, Making Fossil Fuels Look More Expensive Than Ever

https://www.forbes.com/sites/dominicdudley/2019/05/29/renewable-energy-costs-tumble/#23d4b32ee8ce

Coal powered plants are no longer being built. As they become old and need replaced, coal will also no matter what is done on the green energy front.

You can state what you believe "most Dems want to do", but Biden isn't going to raise your taxes.

I didn't say anything about $15 dollars an hour. And if you do the math, even if it were $15 dollars an hour, everyone would have to pay the same. It wouldn't be an advantage to any business be them big or small since everyone would be required to pay the same thing.

Besides, you know how this works. You were in the car business. What you ask for and what you get are two different things.

If you believe coal isn't coming back no matter what, then why are you against green energy so much? At some point we have to stop trashing this planet. You seem to think waiting longer is the best approach.

So you're saying when it comes to bringing back coal jobs Trump was lying all along?

and what you keep side stepping and ignoring is that we should be able to do BOTH. Keep dirty energy running until green energy is able to fill our needs without costing the average american hard earned money out of their pockets. What you want is for our government to shove green down everybodys throats no matter what the cost.
Notice the head line: Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say

Notice this, buried in the article:
Quote:
While the letter’s signatories presented no new evidence, they said their national security experience had made them “deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case” and cited several elements of the story that suggested the Kremlin’s hand at work.

If we are right,” they added, “this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this.”

This is how it has been for the last 4 years: Make a statement about trump in the headline, and then later in the article do the 'if', and 'if, that, then this MIGHT be, but we don't have proof..." On and on.

Also,
Quote:
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said on Monday that the information on Biden’s laptop “is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,”

And this:
Quote:
The New York Times raised questions on Sunday about the rigor of the Post’s reporting process, revealing that several of its reporters had refused to put their name on the Biden stories because they were concerned about the authenticity of the materials. The Post stood by its reporting, saying it was vetted before publication.

And then this:
Quote:
But the release of the material, which POLITICO has not independently verified,
So, politico has not verified it, nor have they verified it to be false. In other words, they don't know, but they certainly seem to claim they do.

Quote:
We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement,
But we'll put it in the headline that we know.

It's what I've been railing against for 4 years!!!

It's like this (just an example of how bad it is) Headline: Trump Screwed a Donkey!

Buried in the article "Trump today visited a farm. A donkey was on the farm. We have an anonymous witness that claims Trump and the farmer were in the vicinity of the donkey with no press. We can't verify any of this, but we'll run with it, cause, trump bad, biden good."

That has to be one of the silliest comments I've seen in a while. Car companies aren't going to stop making cars that use gas. People who own cars now will still need gas. Natural gas energy plants aren't going to disappear.

What the government is going to do is try and make it easier to use renewable energy. Provide charging stations. Tax incentives. Which in case you didn't know, they are already giving tax incentives under Trump for buying electric vehicles.

How is that "cramming it down your throat"?

Making something a more viable option isn't forcing something on anyone.

Correct. Remember back when states were allowed to set their own laws about, say DUI? They were, and still are allowed to do that. Problem? If states didn't adopt the federal gov't. mandate, the fed. gov't. said they wouldn't send the state/s that didn't adhere any money for road construction, even though the states had to pay it in. States could still do what they want....but if they didn't obey, no money for them.

GMAFB The government has been doing this for years, yet they have done little to try to supply the public with alternative energy without screwing the regular guys and gals.
Oh Lord I need that LOVE button for your last two posts bro
Yet in the end all of these laws will be settled in the SCOTUS.

Just look at the laws all the states are setting to limit abortion. They go through the court system to be decided. The same will happen with gun laws.

Even dumb asses who think you shouldn't have to wear a mask are taking it to court.

DUI and things like a national speed limit aren't in the constitution. Gun rights are. That's an apples to oranges comparison.
Or make the things you need not be so harmful to the environment. Impractical suggestions won't really help anything.

I think that you two want the same thing. I think the problem is we don't have a viable plan that has been vetted amongst everyone and actually detailed out in a way that demonstrates compromise and sustainability.

Of course when the notion even makes it to either legislative floor, the conversation turns to being about one side who wants the planet to burn and the other side who wants to kill off jobs and ruin our current way of life. I don't know if anything ever gets discussed before the extremism takes over.

Correct.
Quote:

It's not an apples to oranges comparison.

It's a fact. Unless the constitution is over ridden, which I highly doubt, all the fed. gov't. needs to do is mandate "hey, you can own guns, no doubt. But, we'll tax them, and ammo, and powder, and mandate X dollar amount of insurance you must pay for, for each gun........or we'll come take them. You can own them, it's just, we'll make it financially impossible to do so."

That's the end around we're possibly looking at. It's really pretty simple, for those that are educated and knowledgeable, to see what could easily happen. And has happened, i.e. dui laws.

Watch.
That would be taken to court as it would impact your right to bear arms.

It's EXACTLY the same thing that's being done with state abortion restrictions. Exactly the same. No state is outright banning abortions. What they're doing is making it restrictive to get them. Many such laws have been overturned because Roe vs Wade has been made into law at the federal level.

DUI has never been decided by the SCOTUS. Once again you are trying to use an apples to oranges comparison here.

Only educated and knowledgeable individuals who are trying to manipulate people into thinking the SCOTUS can't and or won't overturn gun laws are telling you this.

Incorrect. The fed. gov't. can impose any tax they want as long as it's voted on in congress. The fed. gov't. can't, without a constitutional change, bar anyone from owning a gun, or guns.

They CAN, however, make it financially difficult if not impossible. Same as they did with coal, same as they did with motor vehicle laws. Period, end of discussion with you.

I'm still trying to figure out who this whole story is supposed to have an impact on. Seems like it is just to rally Trump's base.
So, you totally ignore the "we have no evidence", and all the other things I posted from that article. Got it.

It's like I've tried to hammer home: Make a sensational headline, follow it up with innuendo and anonymous, connect all the fake news you want, and say 'it could be, if, and if IF happens, it MIGHT lead to this....
I'm not ignoring that. I'm siding with their experience as intelligence officers and Giuliani's lack of verified evidence, eroded credibility and the fact is was printed in a tabloid paper.

This story isn't even moving the needle in the polls.

Like I said, it seems like a ditch effort to rally his base and keep them energized.

If there was anything to it, Barr would have moved on it like Trump commanded he do.
The story isn't moving the needle cause none of the msm covers it. Period. Anything you read about it does exactly what I said - poo poo's it, and says NO WAY, because maybe, and if, and if maybe, then it could be, and if all those suppositions are true, than it might not be true, but we don't have proof.

It doesn't really matter that they have evidence. Everybody who paid any attention at all knows that Biden was engaged in quid pro quo, just like many other politicians. People are numb to it. They expect politicians to be corrupt. You vote out one that is corrupt and then quickly find out the replacement is just as corrupt as the one you got rid of.

Look, if they find child stuff on that laptop like some people have alluded, that will move the needle, but that is not going to happen and I know that it is not going to happen because if they had that evidence, they would have led with that, not held it back.

Here's what's going to happen. Guliani is going to slow leak emails. Every day something new but minor and they will say 'wait till tomorrow's shocker', but a true shocker is never going to come. They just want to keep it in the news as long as possible. Meanwhile, the Republicans in Congress are going to get a special prosecutor investigating corruption. It's not that they really want justice and they really don't want to have Kamala Harris as president, they just want to embroil Biden in a three ring circus for the next three years.
The local news, 3 days ago, had a segment on, voting in more than one state. (It hadn't even crossed my mind).

Suppose you or I were a democrat, and we know dems get away with everything, especially when it comes to electiions because we think,
1 laws don't apply and
2. there is no authority higher than their friends,

So, If the case arises and you can be registered to vote in a state you live in and one you used to live in, and, now that's 2.

But in the old days you may be limited by how many poling places you could physically show up to on election day.

So we have one party, (the democrats which for 30 years seek to expand the,
time
number of places
and number of ways, mail in, absentee, etc.
that someone can vote,

and if you consider the number of North East states in such close proximity and that they always break democrat.

Welll.... If they could only expand voting day, say with an early voting period, (only around for largely the last decade), or by allowing votes to be turned in even after election day,
(votes must be accepted even 3 days after by court ruling, in some state today)

AND... we see It is the "democratic" party that has fought so hard for these expansions in the Courts,
While it is the Republican party that has fought so hard for the simplicity of
One Vote
One person
One Day
And Verified, the identity of that person.

Then we could start to see,
WHY WITH 10 DIFFERENT STATES:

Between Baltimore and Boston, not even counting Virginia or DC,

Well we could really get an advantage if all of our guys vote 10 times, and everybody knows,

All of theses states break for the democratic candidates, in unison, imagine that,

Because with 30-60 days of early Voting,
Someone could take their time in voting at almost a dozen polling places,

While in the Old Days, it would have had to be done all on one day,
(ehh I'm too old for that stuff ^.)

Hypotheticaly, Allegedly,

I hadn't even thought of that! Thanks local News! flamingmad

And only one party, shouts voter suppression, voter suppression, voter suppression, for 40 years

Welll> This year,

There will be as many votes floating around as leaves falling off the trees,
Here a vote, there a vote, how many votes, everybody vote, count this one! Count that one! Count all these I found over here!

Sad.
It took you this long to figure this out? We've all been PMing each other and have all registered in all 50 states. It's a thing. All the libtards are doing it.... When Biden gets 365 million votes, someone might figure it out.
I got my ballots. Me & Mommy make them out together, 10 at a time. In 5 days, our work is done. We stick'em in the corner mailbox so our postal carrier doesn't get suspicious. That dark web site we use as an info clearinghouse has been a game-changer. Love the push notifications on my burner phone, as well. wink

We decided to go alphabetical this year. We went geographical region last time. In Obama '12, drew names from a hat. Whatever method we use, we always get all our ballots in on time.

I love voting season.
So much fun.
So much subversion.
GC.

Lori Loughin, and Felicity Huffman each spent (2 weeks,) and (2 months) in prison for trying to get their kid into college by paying.

THIS^ IS EXACTLY (at least)what JOE BIDEN is GUILTY OF,
(By getting his Son Hunter a job at Burisma, with no experience in energy, to run an energy company for 50,000 dollars a MONTH) (And by the statements on Biden saying if they, (the govt. of Ukraine), don't fire the lawyer looking into the situation, that He, (Barrack Obama, and Biden by calling Barack), would withhold 1 billion dollars, of aid to the Country, and then giving them 6 hours to decide, and then within the 6 hours the Lawyer was fired.

Evidenced by the Hunter Biden Computer, hard drive showing how the Bidens' weren't just trying to get a kid into a college,

But rather, putting American foreign policy up for sale, which is treasonous by definition.

and that's not to mention Hunter and cocaine use, <? Really, where is the evidence, where is the evidence he used cocaine?
Just because you mock cheating, and many democrat voters are legitimate, do you think the democrats don't cheat? rolleyes

I wonder if 40 and THROWLONG are the same person?
I think over and over and over, accusations of voter fraud are yelled about every election cycle. I know that the stats on fraud are vanishingly low, from report after report after report. Decade after decade after decade.

So cry all you want about something that is statistically the equivalent of being struck by lightning, it's only your 'mountain to climb.' For the rest of sane, balanced America, it is now and has always been a molehill.

So yes- I mock it. Openly
With all the dripping derision I can muster.

Mini Mike.

Fraud is low, as far as we know. We also know fraud is evident.

This year, we've heard about absentee ballots, mail in ballots, early voting (which you and I both have done) yet we also hear about extending mail in ballot time. For what?

We've heard "the poor can't get to the voting site, costs too much" Okay, we'll mail you a ballot. "The mail man doesn't pick it up, or the mail box I put it in is gone." How do you get your damn mail? I can't get my mail in/absentee ballot in the mail." You've had more than a month to do it!!! What the hell is your problem? Don't want to do the mail in that you begged for? Now we have early voting - monday thru friday, most saturdays, and even sundays.

Oh, we need to extend the voting period. I'm damn sorry, no, we don't. It's been made so easy even a cave man could do it. You can go to the polls early, in many cases 7 days a week. You can have a ballot mailed to you, and all you have to do is mark it, and put it in the damn envelope, and put it in the same damn box you got it out of.

What's this talk of extending ..........what???

Are people literally helpless?

They are NOT the same poster. Both are great conservatives though and the country could use more like them. thumbsup
Mark Levin radio show.

Apparently we are ruled not by rules, or law, but by a biased unjust court system, too often.

Apparently, Pennsylvania, court ruling,
Ballots cast without a post mark, even up to 3 days after the election, will have to be counted, unless they are (burden of proof), can be proven to have been cast after the election ends 8pm election night.

So the entire Country, has early voting, and ,
absentee voting, and yet

Pennsylvania, now, has, ohh...

Do over voting, after the results come in.

So, if the Democrats don't like the results in Pennsylvania, they can just drum up some more votes, the day after, the 2nd day after, 3 days after the election,

and don't post mark any of them, but uhh, they'll have to be counted.

What a freaking disgrace.
Do you think we only need conservatives?

STOP WITH YOUR FACTS ... they don't matter. Period.
Biden would repeal the Trump Tax Cuts.

If you vote Biden... if you ever Do get a paycheck, it will include

LESS TAKE HOME PAY. Because Biden will raise taxes.
Actually it would only be a part of them. He would repeal the tax cuts for those who make over 400k. Everything else is nothing but more lies perpetrated by Trump and his homies.
You make over 400k a year?
I don’t. Likely never will.
So, your concern is?
5 questions on the Joe Biden Story, Burisma/laptop/ Hunter/

We all know the alleged story is Hunter Biden's laptop was left at a repair shop and it contained stuff that showed Hunter redacted there's no proof of that, YET!)
But the laptop contained evidence of
Burisma and Ukrainians thanking Hunter for introducing the Ukrainian to Joe Biden when JB was VP.

And We all know the alleged story is Hunter Biden emailed to hold 30% of payments to Joe Biden by the Ukrainians , 20% for Hunter, and another 10% for "the big guy" ,

and the alleged story includes emails of removed

(I think, personaly, removed, what the heck do I know )

The 5 questions that so LOUDLY SPEAK that they just haven't been denied.

1. Is that Hunter Bidens' signature at the computer repair shop?

Nobody has come out to say "NO"

2. Is it not Hunter Bidens' laptop that was left at the shop for 45 days to later be surrendered when not picked up,
Is That Hunter Bidens' Laptop???

Nobody has come out to say "NO"

3. Was Hunter ever in the Store, easy to say Hunter was never in the Store???

Nobody has come out to say "NO'

4. Did Hunter never meet the guy??? Hunter could say he never even met the guy,

Nobody has come out to say "NO"

5. Did Hunter Bidens' lawyer call to get the laptop back.
They could say Hunter Bidens' lawyer never tried/made a call. to get Hunters' laptop back???

Nobody has come out to say "NO"

The BS on the computers, who knows what that is, but
The EASY, OBVIOUS answer to all of this is to simply have someone say "NO" to all of these 5 questions.

Reminds me of some little kids voice and a Chicago blacksox scandal some 60 years before I was born, some kid talking to a baseball player in the 1920s? The baseball player happened to be named joe too, the old
" say it isn't so joe" quote from the 1920's black sox scandal.

hmm.
My real concern is anybody on this planet is (messed up) enough to vote for democrats; "almost" EVER!

It's very concerning, dang
it's worse than seeing the steelers beat the browns 100 times over if it happened every day for a year,
for 10 years
a new played game, each one a loss, every day, for 50 years, each one a newer more devastating loss to the steelers is not as concerning to me

as that anyone votes for a democrat, in almost all situations ever.

and I only include the word almost because the possibility something like isis, or hamas was the only other option.
Spit! I need to hurl or vomit after considering the idea.

The devastating losses I've incurred in ... at the hands of the democratic party since Clinton was elected, or even got party nom, in 1992/1991

and the realization...

And all the people that were taught all the lies,
since (some year or before)

My concern is??

Here's some interesting snippets from the mouth of Guliani from the article

Rudy Giuliani said there's a '50/50' chance he worked with a Russian spy to obtain harmful information about the Bidens

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City and one of President Donald Trump's personal lawyers, said in an interview with The Daily Beast that there was a "50/50" chance one of his associates was a spy for Russia.

When asked if he was worried that the information he had provided to The New York Post as part of its recent series of reports about stolen data from a hard drive that supposedly belonged to Democratic nominee Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, was the result of the 2019 hacking of Ukrainian natural-gas company Burisma Holdings, where the younger Biden served on the board beginning in 2014, Giuliani told the outlet it "wouldn't matter," and asked "what's the difference?"

https://www.businessinsider.com/giuliani-said-theres-a-chance-he-worked-with-russian-spy-2020-10

So whether it was information planted by the Russians or part of illegal activity, it wouldn't matter and what's the difference?

And people wonder why others don't find this BS credible.
I'm genuinely curious about your statements and I'm trying to figure out what has actually transpired from tangible consequences vs what may just be indoctrination and assumptions.

What devastating losses have you incurred at the hands of the Democrats since Clinton that can be pointed to the Democrats? I'm assuming that you are also making the point that you were alleviated from those losses during the Bush & Trump administrations, especially when they had control of Congress?

It's obviously up to your comfort level to share, but I'm genuinely curious.

From my perspective, there have been things that every administration has done which were bone-headedly stupid and other things that were either inconsequential, decent or positive.

Generally speaking from my own individual experience, my individual trajectory and circumstances have been relatively stable throughout all those administrations, outside of sequestration, which might have been one of the dumbest governmental undertakings during my lifetime.
Honestly, those conclusions are perfectly understandable if you're one of the 2 people who insist Russia was/is NOT conducting elaborate disinformation campaigns to interfere with our elections.
Yeah, even when the man at the head of it all admits that there's a 50/50 chance the Russians are involved. You honestly can't make this BS up. Oh wait, they did.

Actually, it's a sign of intelligence.
I don't disagree.

Personally, I have no opinion one way or another about voting deadlines because I have no dog in that fight- at all. We were going to do the mail-in thing because we are now on the young end of CoVid's primary target group. We decided to go in person because my wife didn't want to entrust her ballot to a chain of command. I've been back at the job since Sept, albeit in limited capacity, so I've become pretty habitual in my preventive protocol. I said "why not? We'll just be super careful."

I think that apprehension about not being in direct control, plus the recent news stories about DeJoy's changes might be part of why these issues are being considered/discussed/litigated, but I can't be sure.

I will also add: when we got in the car to vote, we both agreed that if the line was too long or safety measures weren't being enforced, we'd go home and take our chances with the mail. Mail was our first choice, then it became our second choice.
The affect was marginal for most in the middle class. For me, it was a wash, the blue state mortgage penalty hurt, there was some shifting of brackets and scheme, but it was still about the same percentage at the end.

You had to be in a higher bracket for there to be a real benefit.

So you are right, the Trump tax cuts affect the middle class, but it was not significant.
Bidens plans would raise taxes 4 trillion dollars,

soo, if that's not significant.

Here you go...

Supposedly, Iran sent spoofed emails acting like the Proud Boys to dems in Florida and Alaska telling them to change their party designation on their voter registration and vote for Trump or the Proud Boys would come after them. Trump's DNI (another lap dog) made an announcement about it tonight, and the internet is trying to determine if it is really a foreign actor, if it's a Trump stunt, or if the Proud Boys are really behind it. It would mean drastic consequences for any American if they were caught behind a voter intimidation scheme like this.
Iran and Russia can suck it.

They are doing this for craps and giggles.

Why do people expect me to be scared of taxes? If my rates go up, fine. I actually like helping me fellow Americans, unlike these selfish ass conservatives.

I don't think most people would be upset over small tax hikes if they knew the money was being used responsibly.

But our government has shown time and time again that they know how to waste money and pay favors to big corporations.

Exclusive — Bevan Cooney Moved from Prison Cell after Providing Email Account Exposing Hunter Biden

Bevan Cooney, the former business associate of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden who flipped on the Biden family, has been moved from his cell, sources familiar with the matter confirmed to Breitbart News.

On Tuesday, several days after emails Cooney provided to Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer and journalist Matthew Tyrmand became public, federal agents moved him from his cell to protect him. Tyrmand, who is in contact with members of Cooney’s family, told Breitbart News that Cooney was moved from his cell in a federal prison in Oregon around 11:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday. Tyrmand said that Cooney spoke with family members multiple times on Tuesday, which he said is “much more than usual.”

“Bevan could sense that things had changed with the rise in visibility of his story,” Tyrmand said.

Cooney’s family stressed to Tyrmand they are “extremely concerned given the nervousness gleaned from Bevan’s reaction this morning and they would appreciate a sign from the powers that be that Bevan is in protective custody.” It is unclear where Cooney has been moved to, and in whose custody he currently is.

The federal Bureau of Prisons, which falls under the Department of Justice, has not replied to multiple requests for comment on this front. Breitbart News had sent in a request earlier this week to interview Cooney in prison, but that request was denied, as all media interview requests with federal prisoners are currently being denied due to restrictions because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“They [the Cooney family] believe that alerting the family is the moral thing to do if anyone in government knows anything regarding Bevan’s immediate situation,” Tyrmand told Breitbart News. “They are hopeful he is fine and permanently out of the Oregon facility in which he had been detained for over a year. They know he has been highly motivated in bringing transparency to all of the things that he was exposing by sharing his emails directly with me and Peter [Schweizer]. Given that he was supposed to be released in the coming weeks, although that had been recently pushed back without explanation, his motivation lay purely in seeing justice delivered and warning America about what he had had a front row seat to witness.”

Cooney provided Schweizer and Tyrmand with written authorization to access his Gmail account, and to publish all newsworthy information from his trove of 26,000 emails. Some of them are personal and unrelated to the Biden corruption, but many of them—including ones already published last week and this week on Breitbart News and elsewhere—demonstrate a culture of corruption surrounding the Biden family.

The first story published on Breitbart News last week, by Schweizer and author Seamus Bruner, detailed how Hunter Biden and his associates secured high-level White House meetings for Chinese Communist Party-connected elites visiting Washington from China. That included, per those Chinese elites, a secret unreported meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden himself. Other emails that surfaced on One News Network showed a deeper relationship between the Bidens and the ex-wife of the former Moscow mayor Elena Baturina. More emails surfaced Monday in another Breitbart News report showing how Hunter Biden’s business associate viewed his relationship with his father, Joe Biden—a “direct administration pipeline”—as a form of “currency” to trade on and make more money. More stories are in the works.

UPDATE OCT. 21, 2020, 11:45 A.M. ET:

A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson declined to comment on the matter. “For safety and security reasons, we do not discuss specific inmates’ conditions of confinement,” the spokesperson said in an email on Wednesday morning after publication of this article.

Gun-Toting ‘Guards’ at Florida Polls Claim They Were Hired By Trump Campaign — Trump Campaign Denies
By Tommy ChristopherOct 22nd, 2020, 9:21 am

Two armed men dressed as security guards told cops they were hired by the Trump campaign to set up near a Florida early voting location — a claim that President Donald Trump’s campaign denied through a spokesperson.

On Wednesday, Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Julie Marcus told local CBS station WFLA that when sheriff’s deputies approached the two men, who had set up a tent near a St. Petersburg early voting location, they said they’d been hired by the Trump campaign.

“The Sheriff [Bob Gualtieri] told me the persons that were dressed in these security uniforms had indicated to sheriff’s deputies that they belonged to a licensed security company and they indicated—and this has not been confirmed yet—that they were hired by the Trump campaign,” Marcus told WFLA’s Chip Osowski.

She went on to say that “The sheriff and I take this very seriously,” and that “Voter intimidation, deterring voters from voting, impeding a voter’s ability to cast a ballot in this election is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in any way shape, or form.”

But the Trump campaign denied they were involved, via a statement to WFLA:

Thea McDonald, Deputy National Press Secretary for the Trump campaign, told WFLA: “The Campaign did not hire these individuals nor did the Campaign direct them to go to the voting location.”

Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies will be positioned at the polling location on Thursday.

Watch the report above via WFLA.

Biden tax plan gives $620 tax cut to middle class, new study says

PUBLISHED THU, OCT 15 20201:03 PM EDTUPDATED THU, OCT 15 20201:49 PM EDT
Robert Frank
@ROBTFRANK

KEY POINTS
An analysis released by the Tax Policy Center found that the bottom 80% of taxpayers would see tax cuts on average, mainly due to a package of tax credits and deductions aimed at the middle class.

Those in the top 1%, who earn more than $788,000, would see an average tax increase of $266,000, while the super earners — or those in the top 0.1% — would see an average tax hike of $1.6 million, the study found.

Biden’s plan also wouldn’t raise as much revenue as originally expected, in part because of the slowing economy.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s tax plan would give an average tax cut of $620 to middle-income earners, according to a new analysis, while top earners would face a steep increase.

The analysis, released by the Tax Policy Center on Thursday, comes amid dueling claims during the campaign over whether Biden would hike taxes on the middle class. The analysis found that the bottom 80% of taxpayers would see tax cuts on average, mainly due to a package of tax credits and deductions aimed at the middle class.

According to the analysis, for those in the bottom quintile, which include people making less than $25,000, tax cuts would average $750 in 2022. Those in the next quintile, making between $25,000 and $50,000, would see a tax cut of $790. Those in the middle, earning between $50,000 and $89,000, would see a tax cut of $620, while those making between $89,000 and $160,000 would see a cut of $420.

The top earners, by contrast, would see a steep increase. Those in the top 1%, who earn more than $788,000, would see an average tax increase of $266,000, while the super earners — or those in the top 0.1% — would see an average tax hike of $1.6 million.

Biden has said no taxpayer making less than $400,000 a year would see a tax increase under his plan.

Republicans have claimed that 82% of Americans would see higher taxes under Biden’s plan. Some analysts say that because Biden has proposed increasing the corporate tax rate to 28% from 21%, a portion would be borne by workers. As a result, some middle-class taxpayers would see an effective decrease in their after-tax earnings.

Yet the Tax Policy Center analysis finds, at least in the early years of the tax plan, the impacts of the corporate tax increase would be more than offset by tax credits and deductions aimed at middle- and lower-income earners.

By 2030, however, when certain tax credits and other provisions have expired, some middle-income taxpayers would see slight tax increases. The group found, in 2030, middle earners would see an average tax hike of $70, while those making between $89,000 and $160,000 would see an average tax hike of $400.

The former vice president’s plan also wouldn’t raise as much revenue as originally expected, in part because of the slowing economy. Independent experts initially said the plan would raise more than $3 trillion, yet the Tax Policy Center now says it would increase tax revenue by $2.4 trillion.

It said it lowered the revenue projection due to the weaker economy, expected delays in passing the tax changes due to the coronavirus pandemic and the added middle-class tax provisions and credits.

7 Gun Control Policies Kamala Harris Has Endorsed

AWR Hawkins

26 Oct 2020

Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) endorsed numerous gun control policies during her short-lived presidential campaign in last year’s Democratic primary.

Despite 15 candidates outlasting her in the primary, Harris now finds herself potentially a heartbeat away from the presidency should the Biden campaign prevail.

That being said, it is worth understanding where Harris’ stands on guns and the 2nd amendment.

The following are Harris’ seven most prominent gun control policies.

1. Universal Background Checks — Harris tweeted her support for universal background checks on March 1, 2018. The U.S. has had background checks on retail gun sales since 1998, but Harris wants to expand those checks to make them “universal,” so as to include private sales too. These universal checks have been in place in California since the early 1990s, one immediate outworking of which was to criminalize private gun sales that occur apart from getting government approval via a background check. In other words, it criminalizes the act of a friend selling a five-shot revolver to a lifelong friend or a neighbor to decades-old neighbor. But these policies are ineffective when it comes to preventing street criminals from selling guns to other street criminals in alleyways, drug houses, and parking lots across the state or throughout the country.

2. “Assault Weapons” Ban — On May 15, 2019, GQ reported on Harris’s “assault weapons” ban pledge, which the magazine described as “the latest piece of Harris’s 2020 gun-safety agenda, which was already among the most comprehensive from the lineup of Democratic hopefuls.” Her ban proposal would prohibit the importation of AR-15s. CNN reported that Harris’s proposal “would ban AR-15-style assault weapon imports because they are not ‘suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes.'” Ironically, ATF Associate Deputy Director Ronald Turk defended the “sporting” aspect of AR-15 and AK-47 rifles in early 2017. On January 20, 2017, the Washington Post published a “White Paper” wherein Turk wrote, “The use of AR-15s, AK-style, and similar rifles now commonly referred to as ‘modern sporting rifles’ has increased exponentially in sport shooting. These firearm types are now standard for hunting activities. ATF could re-examine its 20-year-old study to bring it up to date with the sport shooting landscape of today, which is vastly different than it was years ago.”

As Breitbart News previously reported, Joe Biden has endorsed a proposal to register so-called “assault weapons” like AR-15s under the National Firearms Act of 1934 (NFA), which means these gun owners could be required to register their AR-15s with federal authorities, submit their fingerprints and photographs, potentially submit to an FBI background check, and pay a $200 federal tax on AR-15s they already own, if these owners decide not to participate in any proposed federal buy back program. Biden’s proposal could also apply the same $200 tax and NFA registration requirements to every so-called “high-capacity” magazine a gun owner possesses, if the owner decides not to participate in any proposed buy back program.

3. Mandatory Government Buyback of Certain Firearms — On September 7, 2020, Breitbart News reported about Harris’s support of a government-mandated buyback of certain firearms. Bloomberg reported that Harris was not ready to explain how the buybacks would work, but she said they were “a good idea.” Her support of mandatory buybacks came around the same time that former Democratic presidential contender Beto O’Rourke was declaring his intention to confiscate AR-15s. On August 22, 2019, O’Rourke voiced support for mandatory buybacks, and then on September 12, 2019, he made the leap to declaring, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-17.”

4. Weakening or All-out repeal of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) — The PLCAA was adopted in 2005 to protect gun makers from frivolous suits over the criminal use of guns that were legally made and legally sold. Harris wants to get rid of PLCAA or at least weaken it so that the protection it provides for gun makers is minimal. In April 2019, CBS News reported that Harris “supports a repeal of [PLCAA].” Newsweek made clear that Harris’s plan is to at least weaken PLCAA. The magazine said, “Her campaign…issued a call to kneecap a federal law that protects gun manufacturers and sellers when their weapons are used in criminal activities.”

5. Prohibition of Rifle Purchases by 18 to 20 Year Olds — Harris supports raising the minimum federal age for rifle purchases to 21 years, thereby barring 18-20 year olds from all gun purchases (federal age for handgun purchases is already 21).

6. Opposition to Teachers Being Armed for Classroom Defense — Harris opposes arming teachers to defend themselves and their students in the classroom. Just over a year after the February 14, 2018, Parkland high school shooting in Florida, where the attacker circumvented the school’s armed resource officer and killed 17 people, Harris tweeted, “We need to give teachers a raise — not guns.” The tweet came just months after the commission investigating the Parkland shooting concluded that armed teachers could have at least mitigated the carnage witnessed in that attack. In fact, the investigative committee recommended that arming teachers was a crucial component of stopping school shootings.

7. Use of Executive Action to Bypass Congress and Enact New Gun Laws — On April 22, 2019, Breitbart News reported that Harris pledged to use executive action to go around Congress and secure gun control. She said, “Upon being elected, I will give the United States Congress 100 days to get their act together and have the courage to pass reasonable gun safety laws, and if they fail to do it, then I will take executive action.

I think your wordy article on Bidens tax plan, is disinformation, probably from Russia.

Biden has said he will raise taxes, 4 trillion dollars.
edit: to add to my thought

Everyone lived, the last 20 years, Bush 43 gave tax cuts,
The Obama Biden admin, tanked the economy twice! Once with the housing bubble,

and their holdovers have been the Authors of covid economy shutdowns, which are AGAIN, going to bring about the greatest depression since the 1929 depression, with the exceptoing of the 2008-20012 or some years depression around the time of Obama's stimulous package fiasco.
And Trump then brought a 2nd group of tax cuts, to increase payrolls
and then Trumps years brought Relief checks 1200 dollars, 6 months ago unless you are some rich democrat who makes over a boatload of income a year, 150K or something,
and just pretend to be for the people and lower taxes.

While every democrat, going back to Dukakis and Mondale riding the front of a tank said,

Democrats go ballistic after Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation

By Andrea Widburg

Amy Coney Barrett’s ascension to the Supreme Court marks the first time in 81 years that the Republicans will have a majority on the Supreme Court. The Democrats, rather than accepting gracefully that the regularly-applied constitutional rules finally stopped favoring them, have responded with a complete meltdown. They’ve resorted to apocalyptic predictions, hysterical rants, and threats, lots and lots of threats. The last time the Democrats behaved this disgracefully was in 1860, a temper tantrum that ended in a Civil War that left over 650,000 Americans dead.

Before describing the Democrats’ psychological collapse, it’s essential to understand the Barrett confirmation was constitutionally correct and had historical precedent. The Constitution states that the president shall nominate candidates for the Supreme Court, and the Senate shall confirm them.

Seating Supreme Court justices used to be a fairly mechanical process. However, as the left has shifted its efforts from convincing voters to support their policies to placing leftist partisans on the Supreme Court who need no convincing, the process has become increasingly fraught. While Republicans have routinely accorded a Democrat president’s nominees the courtesy of voting for them if they appeared competent, Democrats have imposed various litmus tests and, if those tests seemed futile, accused them of sexual assault.

Fraught or not, it was perfectly constitutional to nominate Justice Barrett. Trump would not have bothered if he was facing a Democrat-majority Senate, but that was not the case. He had a Republican majority, and Cocaine Mitch promised to make the confirmation happen (a promise he kept).

Sen. McConnell knew he had precedent to support him. After all, throughout American history, when the president and the Senate are from the same party, justices have been seated on the Supreme Court even if an election is drawing near. Indeed, John Adams put Chief Justice John Marshall on the Supreme Court after he had already lost the election to Jefferson.

Democrats were unimpressed by either constitutional norms or historical precedence. Elizabeth Warren, ostensibly a legal scholar who should know better, called it a “corrupt and illegitimate process to steal a Supreme Court seat.”

Richard Blumenthal, famed mostly for lying about serving in Vietnam, announced that Barrett’s presence on the Court would mean children will die from disease, women will die from court hanger abortions, and LGBTQ+ people will die all alone.

Chuck Schumer, in a surge of hysteria and stupidity, ranted that the confirmation was a “sordid chapter” in American history and “one of the darkest days in the 231-year history of the United States Senate.” And then, in a beautiful self-own from a man who supports unlimited abortion, he said, “Generations yet unborn will suffer the consequences of this nomination.” Perhaps, but with a Barrett court, there’s a possibility that, eventually, they will be born.

Following the hyperbole came the threats to pack the Court. AOC started it, along with a vulgar reference to gonads:

Republicans do this because they don’t believe Dems have the stones to play hardball like they do. And for a long time they’ve been correct. But do not let them bully the public into thinking their bulldozing is normal but a response isn’t. There is a legal process for expansion.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) October 27, 2020

Ilhan Omar chimed in, with a completely pointless reference to a “popular vote” in a system that works under an Electoral College:

Remember that Republicans have lost 6 of the last 7 popular votes, but have appointed 6 of the last 9 justices.

By expanding the court we fix this broken system and have the court better represent the values of the American people.
— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) October 27, 2020

Nancy Pelosi not only threatened to expand the Supreme Court, but the lower level courts as well:

PELOSI: "Should we expand the court, lets take a look and see." pic.twitter.com/hVS5OaT9nW
— Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) October 27, 2020

After that, the floodgates opened, with court-packing tweets from blue checks who boast hundreds of thousands of followers:

I don't think the Republican Party understands what a radicalizing moment this is for Democrats.

Defend the freedom to marry, defend choice, defend the ACA, defend the constitution.

Expand the court.
— Mikel Jollett (@Mikel_Jollett) October 27, 2020

I believe Trump is going to lose in a landslide and leave in humiliation. The Senate with him. He will count the courts as his one success. We need to start organizing to make sure Biden acts to expand the Court immediately. If he wants a panel, the clock starts on Nov. 4.
— Amy Siskind (@Amy_Siskind) October 27, 2020

What exactly is the incentive for democrats not to expand the Court at this point
— Ken Klippenstein (@kenklippenstein) October 27, 2020

6 of 9 don't represent me. Expand the court. Pass it on. #SCOTUS

We are going to expand the Court. https://t.co/FPhcb42khG
— Zephyr Teachout (@ZephyrTeachout) October 27, 2020

This is the left: As long as they’re winning under the rules, they’ll play by the rules. But once they lose, they’ll change the rules, even if they have to burn it all down to make it happen.

If you would prefer not to see Democrats burn everything down in their pursuit of total power, make sure you vote. And while I don’t usually advocate early voting (because, as Biden voters have discovered, sometimes you learn interesting things before election day), you won’t learn anything new about Trump, who’s been turned inside out in the past four years. Lines will be heinous on election day, so get your vote in sooner, rather than later (or not at all).

The GOP has done a fine job stacking the Supreme Court. Congrats.

Kushner: Black Americans have to 'want to be successful'

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner said Monday that in order for the president’s policies to be most effective, Black Americans must want to succeed.

“One thing we’ve seen in a lot of the Black community, which is mostly Democrat, is that President Trump’s policies are the policies that can help people break out of the problems that they’re complaining about,” Kushner, who is Trump's son-in-law, said during a Fox News interview. “But he can’t want them to be successful more than they want to be successful.”

“What you’re seeing throughout the country now is a groundswell of support in the Black community because they’re realizing that all the different bad things that the media and the Democrats have said about President Trump are not true and so they’re seeing that he’s actually delivered,” Kushner added.

His comments come just eight days before the presidential election, with nationwide polls consistently showing Trump trailing Democratic nominee Joe Biden, who also leads in many battleground states.

Black voter turnout hit a 20-year low in 2016, and both campaigns have focused heavily on courting Black Americans. Historically, Republican presidential candidates have done poorly with Black voters, but Trump garnered double-digit support among Black men in 2016.

But polls this cycle point to a significant lead for Biden over Trump with Black voters. In a New York Times-Siena poll released last week, 90 percent of Black respondents said they were or had already voted for Biden, while just 4 percent said the same for Trump.

Trump's reelection campaign has touted accomplishments ranging from prison reform and economic “opportunity zones” to the record-low unemployment rate for Black Americans before the coronavirus pandemic took hold.

“It’s disgusting to see internet trolls taking Senior Advisor Jared Kushner out of context as they try to distract from President Trump’s undeniable record of accomplishment for the Black community," White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement Monday. "From criminal justice reform and record [historically black colleges and universities] funding to record low Black unemployment and record high income increases, there is simply no disputing that President Trump accomplished what Democrats merely talked about.”

Kushner’s comments came in response to the White House meeting with rapper Ice Cube about policies that would bring more equity to Black communities around the country.

The Trump campaign and Republican National Committee have also tried to dispel the notion that Trump is racist, dismissing the president’s incendiary comments about race that have at times sparked bipartisan criticism.

“President Trump may not always say the right things, but he does the right things. He says what’s on his mind and he gets results,” Kushner said on Monday.

We already talked about this. You're wrong. Not opinion or interpretation. This is flat-out, factually wrong. The housing crisis happened in 2008. It didn't happen overnight, the forces that made it happen were working through the 2000's, if not longer. Obama didn't take office until 2009.

Meh - that's not actually what Kushner said. I think he's a dick but that's a manipulation of context. Heck I don't doubt that's what he might think but it's not really what he said.
I think you're expectations are too high. You're talking to a member of a cult. Now don't get me wrong, because certainly not all Trump supporters appear as cult members. But there's a certain portion that do.

The same man that was screaming Obama was a Muslim born in Kenya is their cult leader. He was lying to then then and has been lying to them ever since. Yet they follow him and hang on every word he says like he's The Pied Piper.

Throw fits that description perfectly. What ever they tell him he believes and repeats no matter how big the lies are.
Right-wing hoaxers Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman hit with felony charges in Cleveland tied to multi-state voter robocall campaign

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A grand jury in Cleveland on Tuesday indicted right-wing political hoaxers Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman with felony charges connected to a multi-state robocall campaign that prosecutors say was meant to scare voters in urban areas with large minority populations out of voting by mail in the Nov. 3 presidential election.

Wohl, 22, of Riverside, California, and Burman, 54, of Arlington, Virginia, are indicted on eight counts of telecommunications fraud and seven counts of bribery in connection with more than 8,000 calls that were placed to residents of Cleveland and East Cleveland.

Wohl and Burkman already face similar criminal charges in Michigan and a civil lawsuit in New York City connected to the same scheme. They are free on a $100,000 bond after pleading not guilty to charges in that state.

Cuyahoga County court records do not say when Wohl and Burkman are expected to make their first court appearance in the case here.

The charges stem from a group called Project 1599, which Wohl and Burkman founded. The caller told potential voters that police and debt-collection companies could use personal information that voters put on their mail-in ballots to track down people who have outstanding warrants and credit-card debt. The claim is not true.

The caller also falsely claimed that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control would use the information to implement mandatory vaccines.

Authorities have said that the duo made more than 85,000 calls beginning in August to residents of Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Illinois. The calls targeting voters with area codes mostly in urban areas, with high percentages of minority and Democratic voters. Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio are swing states that could be critical deciders in the 2020 election between Trump and Vice President Joe Biden, and polls show close races in all three states.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s office was the first to file charges against the duo. Ohio’s investigation began when U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge, a Cleveland Democrat, and others went to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s office, which referred the case to prosecutors in Cuyahoga County, the Columbus Dispatch reporter earlier this month.

“The right to vote is the most fundamental component of our nation’s democracy," Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said in a news release. "These individuals clearly infringed upon that right in a blatant attempt to suppress votes and undermine the integrity of this election. These actions will not be tolerated. Anyone who interferes with others' right to vote must be held accountable.”

Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose referenced the indictments Tuesday afternoon during an appearance on Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s twice-weekly coronavirus address. DeWine invited LaRose on to discuss voter turnout and concerns about in-person voting.

LaRose said that his office received a tip through its voter-fraud website of “an incident of voter intimidation that was targeted particularly at the minority community," which he called a “really ugly and pernicious act of voter intimidation.”

“There’s a Cleveland grand jury who indicted two bad guys who are going to face justice for it,” he said. “Our office played a role in helping to make sure that these people face justice. They were trying to confuse and intimidate voters. We won’t tolerate it.”

William Amadeo, a Michigan attorney who is part of the legal team defending Wohl and Burkman against criminal charges in that state, told cleveland.com Tuesday that they believe that contents of the robocall are protected speech under the First Amendment.

“I certainly don’t feel my clients ever threatened anyone not to vote,” he said.

Wohl and Burkman have risen to notoriety in recent years as they blundered their way through a series of public announcements of scandals later discredited.

Wohl earlier this year began circulating what he said was a copy of a lab report showing that Biden had contracted COVID-19 and had 30 days to live. Biden and his campaign dismissed the report as fraudulent.

The pair is also accused of hiring one of Wohl’s ex-girlfriends to publicly accuse Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who is more popular and seen as more trustworthy on information about the pandemic than Trump, of assaulting her in a hotel in 2014. The woman later told a reporter that the accusation was false and that Wohl and Burkman paid her to levy it.

NO MATTER WHO WON,
we were going to have to live under the oppression of DEMOCRATIS PARTIES AGENDA FOR THE NEAR FUTURE

Dude, it's not a "think" it's a know,
everybody knows.

and it's not a "because" it didn't happen "because Obama was nominated, but it did happen "WHEN" Obama was nominated,

and, I was thinking about this, Obama could (<could!) have been a good politician, if he were a Republican, and followed GOP policies,
the problem is, He was a democrat, and the democrats, ANY OF EM, Shumur, Daschle, any of em, and guys that act like them
DeWine, and Bush 41, and some of the stuff Bush 43 let pass while he was around,
The democratic parties agenda, it ruins things,
look around, wake up, the evidence is all around.

Even Kamala Harris, if she were a Republican,(and thought and voted like, and changed all her wrong ideas and stances on issues, and ended her apparent hate,) would be better, than many politicians including some RINOs and even some Republicans because of her youth, look, These two guys are 75 years old, Trump and Biden, if we could find somebody 40 years old,
Who had correct thinking policies
they'd be even better,
problem is,
the democratic parties agenda.

Certainly I expect the length of time of counting mail in ballots to be historic, at least nothing like we've seen in the last, well ever really.

It will take the same amount of time as always - pro-rata to the number of mailed in ballots.

If the number of mail in ballots doubled because of Covid and people's reaction to Trumps failure to respond to Covid, then the votes will take twice as long to count. If they tripled the time will triple. If they quadrupled then the time will go up 4x.
In one county, Franklin County Ohio, Columbus Ohio,

Mail in ballot requests were up 600%, that's 6 times as many, as reported sometime in mid to late September, which is a Month ago now. (And Frank Larose, iirc was on the radio saying this,)
Than the mail in ballots requested in the entire 2016 election for the same.

That's one county, in one state.
In Ohio, the board of elections is allowed to pre-count absentee ballots, and most counties decided to start pre-counting ballots starting on October 6.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/10/13/us/politics/when-votes-counted.html

Thus, it is expected that the first numbers to be released in Ohio (right when polls close) is all of the absentee ballots, which will probably show a big Biden lead. Things will tighten up considerably as the Election Day voting (which is likely heavily pro-Trump) starts coming in.

A large number of mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania have not been returned by voters who requested them, according to the latest numbers from the commonwealth on Tuesday.

The latest tally of mail-in ballots shows that 1,702,115 ballots requested by voters in Pennsylvania have not been returned with seven days remaining. That’s 42 percent of the 2,969,485 total mail-in ballots requested.

That leaves Democrats in a last-minute struggle to deliver on their push to get voters to submit their vote-by-mail ballots.

“A major problem for them is that a ballot request doesn’t translate into a vote cast until the person fills it out and sends it in,” Trump campaign director of communications Tim Murtaugh said in a call with Breitbart News and other reporters.

Of the mail-in ballots requested, Democrats lead with 63 percent while only 25 percent of the ballots were requested by Republicans.

The data from the US Election Project shows that 1.2 million Pennsylvania Democrats have returned mail-in ballots with a 62.6 percent return rate.

“While Democrats may in states have a lead in absentee and vote by mail ballots returned, it is not a significant lead,” Murtaugh said.

He noted that Democrats were no longer pressing their supporters to vote by mail.

“They have now realized that they put too many eggs in the vote-by-mail basket, and they are not hitting the marks they need,” he said.

Murtaugh said that Democrats’ early lobbying for vote-by-mail was only frightening their own voters away from voting in person.

Democrats face the challenge of chasing down 712,749 remaining ballots requested by their supporters, with just a week left to get those ballots returned.

Republicans face a similar problem, but the numbers are much lower. Of the 761,811 mail-in ballots requested by Republicans, only 406,494 ballots have yet to be returned.

The Trump campaign believes that the Biden campaign does not have the necessary infrastructure to get those ballots returned.

“In order to chase those ballot requests and turn them into ballots cast, you have to have a ground game,” Murtaugh said. “Joe Biden doesn’t have one.”

The Trump campaign is confident that Republicans will turn out in force on Election Day, touting the 200,000 new Republican voters registered in the commonwealth by the campaign since 2016.

“The president’s Election Day vote and his vote turnout will carry the day because the Democrats have not opened up a large enough lead,” Murtaugh said.

Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) argued that many Pennsylvania Democrats would actually vote for Trump in 2020.

“I’m just wondering, why do people think that every one of those Democrats who mailed in that ballot voted for Biden?” he asked during the call.

Kelly noted that his family were Irish Catholic Democrats but that he saw more blue-collar “dye in the wool blue” Democrats flipping to vote for Trump.

“There are a tremendous number of generational Democrats who have decided that their party left them a long time ago,” he said.

I saw an article yesterday that said close to 90 million mail-in ballots has been requested, but only a little over 45% had been returned.

But I would chalk that up to some folks deciding to go in person after requesting mail-in, and the final rush of last minute mail-ins.

I would guess when all is said and done it will be closer to 75-80% mail in received.

What is interesting is that there are about 230 million eligible voters in the US, typically about 75% eligible are actually registered. Meaning there's approximately 175 million registered voters, so more than half requested mail-in ballots.

That's a large percentage, which I expect to only grow in the next few years, and expect voting in person to be a thing of the past in the next 10-20 years.

rofl trump and his supporters... notallthere
The best info on mail-in ballots across the nation (though sometimes individual states are a bit wonky) is here:

https://electproject.github.io/Early-Vote-2020G/index.html

Mail-In Ballots Requested: 91,030,695
Mail-In Ballots Returned: 47,753,131

So 52.4% Returned. Probably there are 10-15% more in the mail (or waiting to be processed) right now. But hard to tell for sure.
They were working on the left last night on MSNBC by telling people the window to vote by mail has passed. We can't rely on the USPS to deliver ballots on time at this point and the SCOTUS just sided with the GOPers over the deadline in PA.
Study warns five states at high risk for election-related armed violence by militia groups

A study released last week warned that five states are at high risk of experiencing election-related armed violence from militia groups.

A joint report released last Wednesday by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED) and MilitiaWatch determined Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Oregon to be at high risk for increased militia activity leading up to and following the election. USA Today reported on the study on Tuesday.

ACLED and MilitiaWatch caution in the report that the militias may be active in capitals, peripheral towns, medium-population cities and suburban areas with centralized zones.

The joint report also said North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, California and New Mexico are at moderate risk to experience active militias.

“Militia groups and other armed non-state actors pose a serious threat to the safety and security of American voters,” the study said. “Throughout the summer and leading up to the general election, these groups have become more assertive, with activities ranging from intervening in protests to organizing kidnapping plots targeting elected officials.”

They write that the groups train for urban and rural combat, use propaganda and act as “security operations” for online and in-person events.

“There is an increasing narrative and trend that groups are organizing to ‘supplement’ the work of law enforcement or to place themselves in a narrowly defined ‘public protection’ role in parallel with police departments of a given locale,” the report said.

The report names nine militias as the “most active” in the U.S. that could take action leading up to or after the election, including Three Percenters, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Light Foot Militia, Civilian Defense Force, American Contingency, Patriot Prayer, Boogaloo Bois and People’s Rights.

Sam Jones, an ACLED spokesman, told USA Today his organization and MilitiaWatch have tracked more than 80 groups since the beginning of the summer, with most being right-wing groups.

"Still, these risks do not mean that violence is inevitable," Jones said. "Voters should not be intimidated. Rather, we hope people are able to use the data to evaluate their own threat environment and organize locally to stay safe, reduce polarization in their communities and, ultimately, mitigate the risk of violence."

The joint report, titled "Standing By: Right-Wing Militia Groups and the U.S. Election," takes its name from President Trump’s comments at the first presidential debate when he was asked to condemn white supremacy and the Proud Boys and responded “stand back and stand by.”

Every state that should be doing the same. For all voters regardless of party. The idea that people can vote by mail a week before the election and potentially not have their vote count is a sad indictment - but don't let that happen. Vote in person, early, and reduce the load on the UPS... helps all round.
Yep. That's why I voted early in person all 7 times.

Yes - the Democratic National Committee made that call and sent it out to volunteers yesterday.

The USPS had said that they need a week to make sure that the ballot reaches its destination in time.

So for states that require the ballot to be "Received" by election date -- people are now supposed to encourage people to drop the ballots off in drop boxes. For states that only require the ballot to be postmarked by election day (Ohio is in that camp -- though it needs to be postmarked by November 2 NOT November 3), people can continue to mail in the ballots for the next few days.
What's the normal response rate for mail-ins? Does this include ballots that have been dropped off?

Still sounds like an improvement over our past performance.

I don't really have a problem with this.

If you are doing mail-in, you know it takes 2-5 days on average for mail to get from point A to point B, depending on size and distance, and you can't count the day you put it in the box.

If you don't mail it at least 1 week before the deadline, you are putting it at risk, that's on the voter.

Do we really want to wait an additional 1-2 weeks to get results? It's already going to take a few extra days since many states won't even start counting the mail-ins until election day.

Election day is really a misnomer. It should be called voting day to be accurate. Election day is actually December 11th.

With the electoral college we are actually not voting for president. We are voting for the people who will vote for president which they do 12/11
Though I agree that the voter should take some responsibility for making sure their vote has a reasonable amount of time to get in.

And yes typically you can count on 2-5 days for mail to be delivered, but with the recent USPS changes who really knows how long it will take?

Thank you!
On a certain level I agree with you. On the other hand I do think that a date should be set firmly with the last date your ballot can be postmarked in order to be counted. I don't think that leaving it up to each individuals discretion to pick a date with which their ballot will return on time is a wise approach.

A firm date would not allow for confusion on the matter.

Michigan judge halts Benson's ban on open carry of guns at polling places

Michigan Court of Claims Judge Christopher Murray issued a preliminary injunction Tuesday that effectively halts Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's directive banning the open carry of guns near polling locations on Election Day.

Attorney General Dana Nessel announced almost immediately after the decision was issued that her office would appeal to the Court of Appeals "as this issue is of significant public interest and importance to our election process."

The edict by Benson "smacks of an attempt at legislation" and lacks public input instead of following the regular rule-making process, Murray said during a Tuesday emergency hearing. Further, the state already has a law prohibiting voter intimidation, said Murray, an appointee of Republican former Gov. John Engler.

"The Legislature has said: Here are the places you cannot carry a weapon," Murray said during the hearing. "The secretary has expanded that. And so how is that in accordance with state law?"

Murray argued Benson could have implemented such a rule over a months-long process, but Nessel's office pushed back.

The need for this directive has grown during the last several weeks, specifically after the details of the alleged plot against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer were revealed, Nessel's representatives argued.

"There's no inconsistency," Assistant Attorney General Heather Meingast said. "There is no affirmative right to open carry in all places at all times.”

House Speaker Lee Chatfield, R-Levering, welcomed the decision, which he framed as a repudiation of administrative overreach.

"Time after time the courts have struck down this administration when it overreaches," Chatfield wrote on Twitter. "Firearms. Line 5. Redistricting. Vaping. Emergency powers. Nobody is above the law. It can’t be sidestepped. We have a democratic process. It needs to be followed."

In his decision, Murray noted that the Democratic secretary of state's prohibition on the open carry of firearms at polling places appeared to be more than an interpretation of existing statute. It was a rule that should be subjected to the rule-making process, he wrote.

"The directive itself covers a substantive policy area — where a resident can openly carry a firearm — and applies to every resident of this state," and implies that law enforcement will be expected to enforce it, Murray wrote.

While state law doesn't grant the right to open carry a firearm, the Second Amendment does in some form and state law provides some prohibitions, the judge said.

"Even if defendant can place additional restrictions on where people can open carry a firearm beyond those contained in statute, it must be done through compliance with the (Administrative Procedures Act)," wrote Murray, noting the rule-making process would require public notice and public comment.

Without an injunction, Murray said, a "single state officer" would effectively be able "to circumvent (and essentially amend) a valid and enforceable state law on the same subject."

"This is certainly not in the public interest, which expects its public officials to follow the rule of law," he wrote.

The decision is unlikely to hurt voters, Murray wrote, because voter intimidation already is banned, open carry already is prohibited in some voting locations, such as churches, and concealed carry is banned in both churches and schools.

State laws passed by the Legislature and signed by the governor "already provide law enforcement with the tools to stop those whose goal it would be to intimidate voters, whether with or without a firearm," Murray wrote.

Serial litigant Robert Davis and Michigan Open Carry, Michigan Gun Owners and Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners filed suit against Benson's order banning open carry near polling places, arguing that it conflicts with state law, conflates open carry with voter intimidation and "is conjured without any legal basis or authorization under Michigan law."

The lawsuit alleges the edict creates an ultimatum, the lawsuit said: Either individuals give up a Second Amendment right to bear arms for self-protection or give up their right to vote.

Benson cited her authority as the administrator of elections when she announced Oct. 16 that the open carry of firearms within 100 feet of a polling location, clerk's office or absent voter counting board was prohibited Nov. 3. She is a former dean of the Wayne State University School of Law.

After some police questioned the enforceability of the directive, Nessel said Michigan State Police troopers would enforce the ban where other police departments refused.

I mean... they're not wrong. They can't arbitrarily ban open carry (even in specific areas) when open carry is legal. That said, and more to your point, the fact there's even a fight about this is ridiculous. One could even use it as an argument of why we need stricter gun control.
Almost half, or x number of percentage of mailed out ballots have not been returned?

Yes that certainly fits the narrative as I understand it. The vote will happen, the democrats will lose,

And when it's known "where" the democrats are losing, all of these mail in ballots will show up, all of a sudden, without post mark, (which the courts have rulled must be counted, even if arriving after the election, unless each one can "burden of proof" be proven to have been mailed after the times up, (So a thing with no post mark has to be assumed to have been in on time)

And if the Democrats were losing by 16 000, oh they'll just have their volunteers fill out blank ones with various names that will be too much work to check, like people who moved away or obviously are made up, or people who had died previously,

And if they need 16,000, they'll come up with maybe 45,000 all of a sudden, overnight, and then all of a sudden, 3 days or 3 weeks after voting day, they'll say,
Oh, the dems werent' losing by 16K,they're winning by 29K, and ... as soon as the dems steal the vote, BAM! "were done" "all over" "no more counting, no more looking, it's over, blah blah blah, nothing to see here"

Same thing every time. Evil doesn't follow rules.

The democrats must really be unpopular if they need, so many ballots, (that many un-turned in mail in ballots), to steal these elections.

Because it's going to happen in various states and house and senate races, all over the country, not just one race.

The problem, one of the problems is or will be.

General Election fatigue, that by even after Thanksgiving, when the results are not in, the populous will just be tired of the subject and too easy to accept the stolen results.

Or maybe it won't happen like this, but ... C'mon! We're you alive in 2000, in every presidential election year since?
These shenanigans have become the normal.

Ask Al Franken, who got a senate seat, but it was 2 weeks after election day before he ever got "apparently" a lead in the vote count? and then, BAM! "were done here stop counting, all over nothing to see here"
That's what those who promote gun rights don't understand when they do stupid things like this. It makes them look crazy as hell and turns more people against gun rights. When you look like the lunatic fringe, nobody wants you to have a gun.
Militia leader Stewart Rhodes says that his group will be at polling locations and is ready to kill Democrats

Oath Keepers militia leader Stewart Rhodes said members of his militia will be at polling locations on Election Day to “protect” Trump voters during an appearance on far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ program.

After making that claim, Rhodes made a number of unhinged statements, including saying Oath Keepers would follow directives from President Donald Trump to take members of the “deep state” into custody and “do what we have to do,” that Trump should invoke the Insurrection Act before the election, that Oath Keepers will “be in range” of Washington D.C., to stop a “Benghazi-style” attack on the White House on election night, and that a war will have to be fought against Democrats on the West Coast who are “bought” by the Chinese government. Rhodes also hyped the possibility of a second civil war where his “battle-hardened” supporters kill the “street soldiers” and “command and control” of “the radical left.” He later claimed the United States is already in a civil war because “you have sitting politicians who are part of the enemy’s ranks.”

Disturbingly, Rhodes telegraphed how he will interpret election results, saying that he would consider a win by Democratic nominee Joe Biden illegitimate and evidence the election had been stolen, presaging how he and his militia might react to that outcome.

Rhodes’ Oath Keepers militia, which is comprised of “former law enforcement officials and military veterans,” is described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “one of the largest radical antigovernment groups in the U.S. today.” The Los Angeles Times reported Rhodes has indicated that some Oath Keepers “have signed up as poll watchers, while others plan to monitor the election armed and ‘undercover,’ drawing their weapons if needed.”

During an October 27 appearance on The Alex Jones Show, Rhodes said members of his militia are going to “stand up and protect people on Election Day” at the polls because opponents of Trump will be supposedly “coercing and threatening” his supporters as part of an effort by Democrats to steal the election.

Discussing the “coming civil war,” Rhodes said Trump should “declassify all the secrets” to expose the “deep state” and that then his group will “go and put it to them, and take them into custody and do what we have to do.”

Rhodes said Trump should invoke the Insurrection Act before the election, when “he was the clear, undisputed president of the United States,” in order to stay in power.

Rhodes said his group is “concerned about a Benghazi-style attack” on election night against the White House and that some of his “best men” will be “posted outside of D.C.” and “within range.” He said he does not trust the military because a “stand down order” could be issued that allows the attack to happen. Rhodes said such an attack could result in “the antifa flag or communist flag flying over the White House.”

Jones then raised the prospect of up to 20,000 antifa supporters storming the White House on the night of the election and predicted that would cause the Secret Service to “run out of bullets.” Rhodes said “that’s what we’re concerned about,” claiming the people who would plan an attack on the White House “have a lot of jihadists who are well-trained and experienced in warfare.”

Rhodes said that “bought” Democrats and “leftists” on the West Coast are participants in a proxy war being waged by China against the U.S., saying, “That’s who we are fighting right now on the streets.” (Rhodes and other Oath Keeper supporters have showed up at protests against police brutality carrying weapons.) Rhodes then said, “You got to defeat them in warfare, and then you got to figure out, it’s kind of like with the Founding Fathers dealing with the loyalists, what do you do with these people?”

After Jones asked him about “military rules of engagement,” Rhodes predicted a possible civil war between the right and left and said that “our side will not just go and fight their street soldiers; we will go for their command and control also” because “that’s a smart thing to do in warfare. That’s what’s going to happen.”

Rhodes then said, “We’ve had recent discussions with guys that are special warfare veterans and also current serving. They’re paying very much attention to what’s going on and quite a few of them are waking up. And so it’s not going to be an easy fight for the radical left. They’re going to get swamped with very competent, battle-hardened veterans on our side.”

Rhodes declared that there is already a civil war in the U.S., “because you have sitting politicians who are part of the enemy’s ranks,” adding that “we have 14 million veterans, I believe, at least, a massive pool of combat veterans who are awake and aware.”

Ahead of Election Day, there is mounting concern that firearms will be brought to voting locations and used to intimidate voters. On October 27, a Republican-appointed Michigan judge struck down a directive that prohibited firearms from being openly carried at polling sites in that state after several pro-gun groups filed a lawsuit. Just six states and Washington, D.C., have total bans of firearms at voting locations.

Absentee ballots upon request. Mail in ballots upon request. Both have been available for months. Early in person voting since the beginning of Oct.

Exactly how is the republican party suppressing the vote?

Never mind. Just saw who I replied to.

Buncha lies from the left that gullible people believe.
I don't see any way we have an idea how all the states went until at the very least 4 evenings after voting day; because 40% of the country voted early or by mail.
Maybe I'll (?), to avoid the fake news for 4 days and gain peace of mind.

Ohio is counting ballots postmarked by 11/2 and received within 10 days after the election.
