Rodgers has proven he can play week in and week out. Johnny, to this point, has only shown he gets hurt easily. He fumbles when hit. He can't read a D worth a damn and he likes to party. A lot. There is absolutely ZERO comparison between what Rodgers was, is or will be and Johnny.
What I want to see is Johnny standing in the pocket, reading the D, finding the open man, or throwing a guy open, and generally playing within the offense. I would love to see Pettine tell all our QB's that if they cross the line of scrimmage on any play other than a QB sneak, he's going to fine them 10K. A QB's job is feading the football to his playmakers. Of course we don't have any of those. But Johnny needs to feed what passes for playmakers in Browns Town. All his running around is going to accomplish is shortening his career. If he has one..... Look at RG3. If Johnny is going to have any chance at all, it will be becoming a pocket passer.
