I have zero problem with what Manziel said. I thought it was rather clever, actually.

Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

That was a reasonable question. Getting blown out on MNF, you're laughing and joking on the sidelines. Like, what's so funny, Derek???

With McCown its definitely best to take a couple weeks off after suffering a concussion...He's older now and its not worth risking further complications later...Sound decision...Hoping Manziel takes the reigns and has a superb game(s)

I just hope the kid has fun and plays football. Executes what he has learned and become that NFL QB. Stay loose kid you can start your ERA...play well with a win it will be hard to change course.

I am very excited for the kid. This is the kind of game that is such a tremendous test of mental makeup. The horrible start last year against the Bengals. The blowout loss last week. Facing a Lebeau defense. The criticism by much of the media. Mariotta coming to town after lighting it up with 4 td throws. This is the game everyone in America wants to see.

The big stage is why Johnny was drafted in the first and he needs to show it on the big stage today. I think we learn a great deal about Johnny Manziel today.

Well JF, here's your chance to really start adding solid and legit "positive" articles. Not this "he moved into a golfing community" and "he went to rehab" and "he's starting to 'maybe' act mature on/off the field" and really lay it on the haters (such as myself) with your prep and performance today.

I see some pass protection being able to hold up, so hopefully I hope we see some JF staying in the pocket and going through his progressions. Win or lose, he could really do himself good with a nice performance!

Say what you want about JFF, he's def. a polarizing player.. Since its been announced as starter the media coverage has been crazy. He seems like a good kid who wants to do well. Recognizes his mistakes and is trying to be the kind of player everyone wants him to be. Pass or fail as a player, I can't really do anything but root for him that he succeeds, because unlike so many that started down that road..cough gordon cough, he put in the work and has done everything he could to show that's not who he is. So either way I hope he does well for himself this week.

I agree ... the good thing about having JFF is that he's at least something to watch, regardless of your own personal opinions of his ability

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think he stuck it in Hoge's face today. Those were some very nice deep passes, and poise in the pocket.

Hoge is a big mouth ex-Steeler who loves to say controversial stuff so he can be brought up on sports programs. IMO the guy took one to many to the melon.

While I think that would have been funny.... he got his one-liner in, time to let it go.. now if he ends up wearing one to the super bowl parade... that I would be very much in favor of.
