Yes, God knows we should all work at places that pay us less for doing our job. True but is it guaranteed and at this pace the Eagles might decide...heck we can have a UDFA minimum wage RB run for -0- yards.
??? I believe when you're a RB in this league, the position is undervalued. Your second contract is probably your biggest payday. You won't get this opportunity again. In the NFL, all you can really count on is your guaranteed money in your contract. So if it were me, I would sign that second contract where the most guaranteed money is offered. It's all about security for my family. In other careers, you're looking at a lifetime. In the NFL, your career can end on the next snap of the ball. Yup. And when you add in that for a RB, the careers tend to be even shorter than the average for other positions, you ABSOLUTELY take the money to set yourself up for life post-football.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Rodgers in his last 16 games in Lambeau (not including the game where he got injured early)
15-1, 35.3 PPG 4,605 yards (9.1 Y/A) 347/504 passing (68.6%) 42 TDs 0 INTs 125.3 passer rating That's just magically delicious...

The Saints are about to get really bad. Drew Brees is going to miss "several" games with an injured shoulder.
Brees might be available this off-season. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

heh, he doesn't even have a line to run behind and his role on offense is next to nothing. He took the money and refused to accept a little less to run behind a much more talented OL... and he had 13 carries for 2 yards (and he had a long of 9) which means on his other 12 carries, he had -7 yards... how many more times should they have given it to him? Murray is a downhill runner who needs a few steps to hit the hole or the seam or at least the crease with some momentum... the Cowboys were getting pressure and stopping his momentum before it ever got started and he is not a Shady McCoy that can make the first guy in the backfield miss and then accelerate, that's not his game...

Like I said, money and ego aside... just totally aside, it becomes sad because he's a great running back. Just, and IMO, like Bradford, looks out of place in that offense. But yeah, no doubt at the surface - he accepted the cash and decided to move on from a nasty Cowboys front that he was comfortable in. When you put it like that, I have no sympathy either.

Jets look a QB away from being a Super Bowl contender IMO
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Boston is far to the left as KC settles into the slot. Fannin is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Sampson are split in the backfield as the ball is hiked ... Here we go."

You guys can borrow our 4th string QB Stephen Collier if you'd like. He's probably better than anything Bama has at QB.

Yeah suddenly getting our butts kicked last week doesn't seem so bad.
So what about nothing nattering if you don't have a QB?
Probably still get torched by NE though.

Pagano is a horrible coach...his schemes suck.. They would have been much better off keeping Arians over Chuck. That being said, they have to invest in their line..you have a once in a lifetime QB and you don't think to invest in the line..you shouldn't have a job.

Colts have a horrible GM. Drafting TY Hilton and receiving a gift from God in getting the #1 pick in 2012 has kept him employed.

Colts have 2 TEs that are better than any TE on 75% of rosters, and more than halfway through the game, they have zero targets.

Revis is still the NFL's gold standard. Beautiful reaction/instinct on that latest pick.

Man, the Jets created 5 turnovers against us for the game last week, and they have forced 5 Indy turnovers so far tonight.
They might be just that good on defense.

Yeah I'm convinced it's the Jets defense. They might have the best secondary in the NFL. A top 5 front 7 too.

DQ is injured. I hope he's not hurt badly, because it would really suck to get hurt at the end of a game like this, when they really have little chance of winning. (did I just jinx the jets?)

Congratulations to our 2016 NBA Champion CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!! Greatest comeback in sports history... Hail to the King!

Williams, Richardson or Bryant, Shelton, Starks - JETS ADVANTAGE Coples, Davis, Harris, Pace or Mingo, Dansby, Robertson, Kruger - JETS ADVANTAGE Pryor or Whitner - JETS ADVANTAGE Gipson or Gilchrest - BROWNS ADVANTAGE Fitzpatrick or McCown - JETS ADVANTAGE Ivory or Crowell - JETS ADVANTAGE Ferguson, Mangold or Thomas, Mack - PUSH Marshall, Decker, Kerley or Bowe, Hartline, Hawkins - JETS ADVANTAGE Cumberland, Davis, Amaro or Barnidge, Dray, Housler - PUSH

The Jets loss stings less now after the way they handled the colts, hell we outscored Andrew Luck and co. And what is up with Fitzpatric? The guy is looking like a top tier QB. I guess having a team around you does help.

Skrine played a great game. I watched part of this game in the hotel gym. Was on a treadmill and the TV had the captions on. I kept seeing "Busted Screen" in the text and thinking they were talking about some screen pass that was broken up and wondering why in the heck they kept talking about it. Then I realized it was Gruden going on about Skrine.

I love watching Revis play. He doesn't appear all that athletic or fast. But he's usually glued to his guy.
He got turned around a couple of times last night, but he also looks like he's not trying sometimes.

Surprised with how poor the Colts have looked offensively
Terrible OL, Andre Johnson looks washed up, Gore fumbling, Luck turning it over
