The guy was unblocked, that is not on McCown. He saw the pressure, throw the ball away and keep your position rather than lose yardage.

If we keep asking McCown to throw the ball 50 times a game I don't expect him to survive the season. He's going to get hurt. Maybe that's Pet's hope for an easy out of his lame a** decision to keep playing McCown. McCown does not feel that pressure. I would never desire an injury to any Browns player but it may just be the best thing for this team. This is silly at this point. Play the first rounder and make a decision about the future! Agreed. I feel that Manziel can make the reads and react much quicker than McCown. At least we'd know if there were hope for the future while remaining competitive. I think there is a consipiracy: "Johnny, you stretch the field too much. We like to run a horizontal offense here so you need to sit while you learn to underachieve."

I hate this settle for 3 game plan. How many games have we lost over the last 15 years because we simply can't score tds and always take the 3 instead. We never have that killer instinct and always settle for the bare minimum.
