so you just tag a bunch of different private sellers that night. You could. I'm not sure about other places, but the gun shows here, are becoming alot like flee markets have become, where it's more retail than the average Joe selling their wares. The last show I went to, 2 weeks ago, had 35 vendors, only 5 were private sellers, each with just a a small table, and only 2 had any firearms to sell, most were only selling accessories ,homemade holsters, belts, etc.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

household items original purpose isn't to commit suicide/homicide with.
a gun's original intent was to kill.neutralize a target.
stop with the logical fallacies, please. While this should make sense, it doesn't. Suicides aren't all the same. They have a lot of different complex situations to them. Someone who tries to kill themselves via chemicals, pills, or hanging are wont to not choose a gun to kill themselves. Not trying to make this into a big deal, because you do bring up a good point, just saying that it's a tad more complex than that.

I would never bring a gun into someones home without their knowledge, that is impolite.
Sure you wouldn't. I'm betting many here have done that. Or left firearms in the car. IMO that is irresponsible gun ownership. From what I've read of your comments here, I'd say you believe that owning a gun is irresponsible gun ownership. How about a quote to substantiate your claim.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Thomas Jefferson.

He also missed that a guns original intent is to kill someone/thing else, not yourself. So just like kitchen knives, bleach and ammonia, or prescription medication, the gun is being misused in that instance.

Sorry, but I'm not going through a 13 page post to find quotes. Do it yourself to prove me wrong. Your statements on someone being negligent bringing one into your house, or negligent for leaving one in the car were enough to convince me that you are totally anti gun. The statements on the government rolling tanks up someone's driveway are too. It's almost as dumb as people siting the 'gun show loophole', which is based on 1991 data, when that loophole was closed in 1994 with the passage of the Brady bill.
