I've been watching the baseball game.
Are the Falcons pooing on the field or are the Saints actually playing well?

Yeah I had figured that Atlanta would just run all the Saints and the Saints offense would continue to sputter... boy was I wrong.

Yeah, this game was too boring. I had it on, but didn't even pay attention to it.

had a hunch Atlanta would lay an egg ... they were due and aren't really a very good team IMO
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Drew Brees was 30-39 for 312 yds and obviously, not ready to retire just yet. The Falcons defense is still a question mark.
Turnovers were a problem for the Falcons, losing 3 of their 5 fumbles and they had a blocked punt for a TD.
The Saints are still tough in their building.

Are the Falcons pooing on the field or are the Saints actually playing well? I turned it off but in the first half the Falcons moved the ball up and down the field almost at will but kept having mistakes and turnovers so they only had 7 points. Then the Saints built some momentum and pulled away. It should have been a much closer game than it was.

the falcons had some head scratching fumbles going on.
and that punt block for the td was the tone setter.

(But I definitely could be mistaken about that.) I always liked him. Good player. Strong. And seems like a good guy.

Pittsburgh gets a win playing their 3rd string QB..
Life isn't fair.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Life isn't fair. And their "Old ass sorry defense" held a top 10 offense to 13 points. And guess what they don't need every pick in the draft to be defense to get good quick again. This organization is completed garbage. Browns died in 95.

wow panthers upset seasttle Something's wrong on that team; they've had the lead in the 4th quarter the last 4 games and they've lost all of them.

I know this was an earlier game, but how can the bills defense be that bad? Cincy's offense is amazing, but the bills defense just look absolutely putrid and they have all kinds of talent.

Rivers has 40 completions on 60 attempts today with 467 yards. That's sick.

Anyone catch the Colts' insane "fake punt" or whatever it was? I assume it was a snap that wasn't supposed to happen, but does that excuse it from being the worst play of all time?
(I bet there's been a worse play, but it's fun to roll with the hyperbole.)

I'm waiting for the Colts FO to file a formal complaint that Tom Brady sublimely forced them to run that play.

(I bet there's been a worse play, but it's fun to roll with the hyperbole.) let's see - key fourth down - illegal formation, one person on the line and nobody to the left of the ball - 9 players shifted to the side, not doing anything - wide receiver snaps the ball to an unsuspecting safety playing quarterback, who is quickly tackled I don't think it can get much worse than that Also kudos to the Pats, who didn't appear to be confused in the least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrtzpdH_uPM

Ha ha ha. I would say, there is competition for the stupidest football play ever. This play might be 1A or 1B compared to what happened last night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-tqLG__Al4In seeing both, I think the only possible play stupider would be if the QB turned around in the shotgun and punted the ball backwards through the uprights.

So is this immediate turn-around by the Dolphins sustainable? They went from being pretty lackluster to dominating in a week with the coach fired. Granted it was the Titans, who aren't very good... but is this very inexperienced coach going to be able to keep them there?
