Please stop trying to run Crowell so much. We have two other backs. Use them more often. Why? You think the problem is Crowell? That everything else is working great but it's HIS fault we can't run? He certainly seems to have a problem running. Why not try the other two backs more often? No one is running in this offense. Not like they are trying to run anyway. When is the last time Crowell or any other back got 25 carries? Last year..... So if he is having trouble running the ball do you think they should keep feeding him the ball, even more so? I don't understand that logic. So we run once or twice, have no luck and just chuck the run game. Pass every down. Next week try a run once or twice, fail and throw every down.... Might as well not bother running it at all..... Sometimes it takes pounding it and pounding it until eventually you DO succeed at running it. Last year there were many times we had trouble running it early in a game. Shanahan never gave up on the run. You have to commit to running the ball.
