Bortles is much more improved this year than I thought he would be.
I'm not sure though if he's going to be any good or not.
He was a really awful rookie. Moving this comment here so we don't muddy up the other thread. Bortles was historically bad last year. This year he is just bad. He has a 2:1 TD to INT ratio, but his decision making is still awful. He is only completing 55% of his passes. He's made some surprising big plays in key moments of games though.
I am probably giving him too much credit just because of how bad he was last year. I agree with you guys. He's been much better this year, but he gets a heavy curve.

That is what happens when your GM has a clue. It is becoming very clear that Farmer is in over his head (I had an inkling before but was holding out hope). Wish I at least had the inkling. I thought he really was gonna straighten things out.

i left the Browns game in the 4th to watch the rest of the Giants Saints game, awesome game. if they replay watch it. Willie Snead made some awesome catches and then made one of the most impressive fumbles i have ever seen. Knew that kid could make it in the nfl lol.

Cook's got the quickest release I've seen in awhile, but he seems to be inconsistent. I haven't seen Boykin or Lynch much at all. I've seen Lynch throw a couple of dimes deep. I've seen Boykin's game compared to Manziel. I'd probably go with Goff, just because I know him better than the others.

Did anyone see Reggie Bush's injury? We saw Josh slide last week
Over the course of many, many years, I have seen multiple players slip and slide on the concrete--or other man-made surfaces--that are on the perimeter of the field.
I always wondered why they don't cover that surface area w/some sort of tacky surface so the players don't slide and risk possible injury.
Like I said, it happens all the time and it's been going on for years. Anyone know the reason colleges and NFL teams don't rectify this issue?

they should just cover the entire area with turf, wall to wall, and call it a day. these are really idiotic injuries for a multi-billion dollar league to be having.

I've see it all now. The Steelers are complaining that other teams players are dirty. Steelers OL: Bengals were 'aiming' to injure, cheered after Bell went down Although the hit looked clean, Steelers offensive lineman Ramon Foster isn't so sure that's the case. After Cincinnati's 16-10 win, Foster said that he felt the Bengals were 'aiming' to injure Steelers players during the game.
"I am sure they were aiming to take somebody out today and kudos to them, they did the job," Foster said, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Foster didn't stop there though. The lineman also made it clear that he was angry with Burfict for allegedly celebrating the injury.
"He's that type of guy. That type of guy gets his sooner or later. So, wait and see, I guess. He's that type of guy, period," Foster said of Burfict. "If you're on the field with him, you know what I mean by that. They'll play it off; he'll act dumb about it. But you don't run across the field hyped, celebrating, jumping up and down when a guy goes down like that."All those years of Harrison launching himself into opposing players heads and Ward blindsiding people left and right, and your team is claiming Burfict shattered Bell's knee on purpose? Really? And then celebrated? I saw the play, Burfict left the scene before anyone knew Bell was hurt, so yes, he was celebrating as he ran away. The Steelers lose a few games and can't handle it.

Packers are 0-8 when playing a team on the road with a winning record, dating back to 2012. Not sure how accurate this is, but I read the Packers are 0-24 with Rodgers when trailing by 9+ points in games..

I think the biggest idiots are the guys who NEVER played the game. They get all passionate, act so tough, and hate the enemy.........but in reality, guys who have played the game never wanna see anything like that happen.

Add Carolina to a team I am jealous of.
I am currently jealous of Cincy, Oak, and Carolina. Cincy and Carolina are models of patience. Browns fans would have run Can Newton and Riverboat Ron out of town after year 1.
When you exercise patience, give the guy you drafted at QB time to develop and don't blow up the coaching staff, it allows you to focus on the team in the draft. Eventually after several years it starts clicking.
