lebron needs kicked in the nuts, i haven't seen such a choke job of a game from a single player since dirk. We are going to get pounded without ky this series. Detroit played the worst i've seen them play and we couldn't pull it out. Gonna be a long, yet short series, and why the hell did lebron throw it to danielle when he was AT THE RIM WITH NOONE CONTESTING.. he needs to get his head in this or we are screwed.

He would have been hacked and missed, refs wouldn't have called it (just like the 3 fouls I saw them ignore earlier in the game)

Come on Soup....the cavs are giving it a great game in the Pissons house.

No offense, but that's the attitude of why Cleveland is a losing city. I'm tired of the crap of "they gave it a good run." Why can't we just win something for once? Losing is NOT good enough for me. 2nd place is just the 1st loser. I'm just sick and tired of always losing. Why can't we ever BE a Detroit, or a Chicago of the early 90s or the Patriots, Cowboys or 49ers? I'm so damn tired of losing at everything.

True, lebron don't get the respect Wade does from refs, and he is quite shaq'esque at the line. But still, say he gets hacked, clock stops, with 12 seconds, that atleast 2 more possessions for us if we foul them

LeBron didn't have a clear shot... were you even watching? Tayshaun Prince was right there, and he is their best defensive player, IMO. Frankly, if you want to question something, question why Donyell didn't drive into the lane. That was a smart pass by LBJ rather than force something on a night when the refs were swallowing their whistles.

i'm ok with that play... you go for the win on the road...

donyell should have knocked down the shot, it was wide open, in rythym...

we still have a chance to split these two games in detroit...

That was Tayshaun on LBJ, not Rip. Pretty big difference there, IMO.

it was hamilton, and besides, prince can't guard lebron, maybe on the ball, but lebron was driving in the open lane and was to the rim. Lebron should have made a play, worst case he misses, we foul and get another chance

I knew it was going to happen.

HTF does James not jam that down when....

Ahhhhh!

Screw it. I know what is going to happen. We lose in 5. Big friggin deal I expect it. LeBron hasn't done squat offensivley the entire playoffs but dish it out and the rest of the team is too incosistent so you never know what's going to happen.

That is the defenition of a spineless team, going for the win instead of getting the easy basket and playing good defense to win or even take it to OT.

Marshell has ONE good game the entire playoffs and we rely on him to win it. WTFE

It was Tayshaun, I just played it back on the DVR (Thanks for making me do that). #22 was guarding LeBron, not #32.

Don't start with the moral victories. It's still a loss, don't sugar coat it.

Read my sig.

That is exactly what Brady was talking about because every Cleveland team is that way.

whether it was prince or rip, is immaterial. you have 6'8 250 vs 6'7 125lbs, lebron with a full head of steam, lebron should have made a play. I don't care what you think. I for one would not let someone who's spent the better part of the game on the bench try to win it when we could have tied it to live another day

and another thing, why should lebron shoot that ball?

with the way the refs were calling that game, why would lebron think that he's going to get a call?

it is absolute garbage... the refs didn't allow lebron to be the player he is...

z had a great game... he had good energy tonight, as well as andy... he kept us in that game during the stretch when we lost the lead...

larry hughes was too inconsistent... and not enough out of donyell marshall...

the bottom line is we have to start knocking down the open looks, championship teams do that... you've gotta have confidence when you take those shots...

they'll put it behind them and move on, and i think the key is that lebron comes out on thursday and attacks the pistons from the get go...

you have to assume that the nba and the officials looked at that game and saw some unfair calls...

and if he still doesn't get them, then we won't win a game in this series...

Yea, I remember all of those times that MJ shyed away from somebodys best defensive player...

LeBron was completely and totally INTIMIDATED by Prince all night. The only thing on his mind every time he touched the ball was how fast he could get rid of it. Yea, he probably got hacked a couple of times with no call... BIG DEAL!!....

Look at Billups, he had a lousy game too and was contained all night.. but in the end, he found a way to drain 2 3-pointers late in the 4th quarter... LeBron didn't take a shot.... He didn't look like he wanted to take a shot... hell, V threw him one pass as he was standing dead still, like he did all night, 25 feet from the basket and he wasn't even ready for the ball...

If LeBron shows up even halfway tonight, the Cavs are up 1-0... end of story.

He should have shot the ball because he was 3 feet away from the rim and two tied it. Instead they tried to sneak on out and they payed the price. He didn't need a call. Play some defense and take it in OT.

High percentage shooting.

One thing i saw this game, and I hope someone in the Cavs org. does to, we don't have that wide eyed look like we did last year. I believe most the guys on the team believe they deserve to be here in this series. Mike Brown needs to take page out of Flips book, when things aren't going well, go deeper in your bench to find a spark. personally, i'd take DJ taking that 3 over marshall. But we aren't intimidated by the Pistons this year. But Lebron needs to man up and stop taking 20 ft jumpers. hell if he matched his average, we win this game by 10+. Lebron needs to set the tone for the whole game like the last game against nets, screw getting everyone else involved at the start. He needs to establish himself so when they do double down on him etc, then they just get that much better looks

Absolutely nothing wrong with that play. PERIOD!

They lost for the reason they are doomed unless they change. MAKE the GD freethrows and wide open looks.

Yes, knocking down open shots is the mark of a championship team, they make it look easy.

Almost everyone was off tonight except Z.

And Marshall, how in the hell did you not make that shot!?

Yeah after 15 years they got us here. And all it is a big tease.

I'm not down on them, I expect it. But stupid crap like what just happened tonight just irratates me.

Also the whole teams was what? 3-12 in 3 pointers or something like that?

And you want to place winning or losing in the hands of a has been.

had lebron been to the free throw line at all in that game, maybe he does take that shot...

but he made the smart decision...

it's just unfortunate

Tayshaun is the best defender, again IMO, on that team. He was even with LeBron with inside position with two other defenders coming with help. LeBron hadn't gotten a call all night (literally). Why should he try to force a shot up in that situation (not even considering the free throw troubles that LeBron has had this season). Donyell was coming off a hot game, had an open shot in the spot where he tends to be the most comfortable. Plus, on the road, I go for the win in that situation. If there is a two there that is open, great. However, I draw that play up for the win, like Brown did. It was a well designed play that played out to perfection, only the shot didn't fall. I'm far from happy with this game, it was there for the Cavs to take, but that play was executed really well from every angle I have seen.

The only person on the court who kept LeBron from being the player he is... was LeBron...

I said it once, and I'll say it again.. he was SCARED of Tayshon Prince... he wanted nothing to do with him.. he didn't want to try to beat him off the dribble, he didn't want to try to step back and shoot over him... He wanted to lower his head, run 8, much needed seconds off the 24 second clock, then pass it to somebody farther away from the basket than he was...

I'll give LeBron all the credit in the world.. it was one game, but it was a winnable game.. and if you want to start trying to figure out why we lost and you don't start with his timid play, then you're fooling yourself.

DJ should have been playing in the NJ series. To beat the Pistons you have to have the outside game. In a defensive, low scoring game you will lose. Brown has compromised this series by not playing DJ in the earlier one. Get the "Greatest shooter in the World" some game time BEFORE you have to have him.

Chalk one up to a mediocre coach. Name the last Cleveland coarch / manager with any experience for any of our teams. Brown is not good enough for this team.

last time i checked, posting on a MB has nothing to do about caring what other people think, in this case posting allows people to vent. Like i said, care less about what you think, meaning, what you think doesn't change MY opinion in what i would do in that situation

I've said this since the playoffs started.. I will never understand MB's utilization of players. He is terrible at this. DJ should be playing 12-15 mins a game atleast. He is known across the NBA as a 3 point specialist and don't need much room to get his shot off. He needs to get some minutes. I woudn't mind seeing newble and pollard get maybe 5-8 minutes to beat some bodies.. You think RIP hamilton getting slammed by a Pollard pick wouldn't make him think twice about doing it again. We have cream puffs down low. We need some bad asses down there who don't mind laying people out

I don't care what the refs were doing. I've seen LeBron make that exact shot against pretty much anyone in the NBA.

I really think Arenas was right. LeBron doesn't want to take game winners. I seen the overhead angle and Lebron had Tashaun beat no doubt about it in my mind.
