I don't think we could have played any worse and only down 8

I think that's the silver lining. If we look even half competent in the 2nd half, we should win by 20.

Before tonight we averaged 27 assists. Cauldron physically can't stay in front of Mo.

The finals were a huge confidence boost for Della. You can see it in his development this year.

It's amazing what being put in he brightest of lights does for a guys confidence. Some guys collapse and others shine in it. That's what the finals did for Della. It built his confidence.

You can tell he's put a ton of work into his game in the offseason. It's probably why his team "handshake" is nothing more than a business handshake with a "good job". Lol
Him and TT are clockwork on that pick and roll

It's like the refs aren't even watching Ny under the basket. First Carmelo hooks Lebron and oquinn just cleared love

Delly did not look like a professional basketball player last year. Just a try hard guy.
He looks like a professional player this year. Looks like he slimmed down and worked on his game.
I want a Delly jersey.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

This team is just so damn good 1-15. We have the depth to put out different lineups to do what we need to..and we have alot more guys this year that aren't afraid of adversity. Most everyone sucked most of the game, so Mo/Delly/TT said we got you. We needed to close it out, lebron said..i got you. This team don't let each other fail..such a strong group

I live in Fl so I got league pass, best money spent, only thing that I don't like is on national games its blacked out so I don't get the cavs broadcast..but Its really cheap considering how many games you get.

This team is just so damn good 1-15. Yeah we are! Love and Lebron were terrible tonight. Half of our guards are were injured, and we still came back and won by 10.

Mo and Delly are So good together...I am really impressed in how much more mature Mo looks this time here.. He's lethal...not scared to take the load if he needs to..last time here that was a thing about him, he'd disappear. Mo and Delly were really the reason we got back in it, and TT really helped under the rim. I still think Mosgov is hurting us more than helping right now..they really just need to sit him..but I do like how Blatt is managing his minutes, atleast letting him slowly work back into game shape.
Who wants to bet we never see t-shirt jerseys again as long as lebron's here..lol

Mo and Delly are So good together.. Delly and "anybody" have been great this year. I believe he's +77 on the year so far when he's on the court. The offense just looks so much smoother with him in there. Him and TT run that pick-and-oop so well now. Delly and Mo move the ball around great as well. Who wants to bet we never see t-shirt jerseys again as long as lebron's here..lol I sure wouldn't complain.

Warriors are obviously really good, but I think we can beat them (if healthy). We have a bench that can match up with theirs. Obviously our starting 5 is more than good enough to go toe-to-toe with their starting 5.

Delly in this role is awesome. I thought people were way too hard on him last year when we lost the finals. He's the perfect backup guard. He burned himself out. At that level, defending those types of players, you can't do that for 48 minutes. He did it for 3 straight games. It was pretty amazing. In limited minutes he can go 100mph. I really hope when KI comes back that they can still find him minutes. But man this look right now with Mo and Delly is really good. It's crazy to think they are going to get pushed back for an all star. This team is loaded! The Cavs are must-see television. And they really are a great release from our horrible football team. I'l never give up on the Browns but I'm starting to wonder why the hell I'm watching this team. I've never been one to think like that, because I try to find the positves, but they make it so hard. The Cavs are exactly what Cleveland fans need.

Some thoughts:
--We came out pretty flat. I get frustrated when we come out like that, but we have the ability to turn it up when needed. It's just hard to get used to.
--I perfectly understand that we were a contender the first time LeBron was here, a lottery team when he wasn't here, and a contender now that he's back, but he does things that annoy me. Turning the ball over and then not even bothering to run back on defense multiple times. Man, that rubs me the wrong way. I don't see how that is providing good leadership.
--I thought TT had a great game. We play better when he is there. He gets us second shots. He irritates the other team. He gets us defensive rebounds. He brings energy and toughness.
--I would like to see more of Love, TT, and Andy on the floor together. I don't think Love was terrible last night. I didn't get all the comments on here about him being terrible. He wasn't shooting well, but he still rebounded the ball and opened up things for other players.
--The Delly/Mo backcourt really was effective.
--I thought our second unit was better than our starting unit. I really like how Blatt is trying all kinds of rotations. This is the time of year to experiment and it should help us later in the season.
--LeBron's second half performance was drastically different than his first half performance. It's fun to watch when he gets into it.
--I might be biased, but I still like Cunningham's potential. He is very athletic. I like his quickness on defense and his explosion on O. He needs to play w/more confidence.
--I do think the Knicks are playing harder this year. They should unload Anthony for some guys that will buy into what they want to do. He's about the last guy in the league I would want to play with.

--We came out pretty flat. I get frustrated when we come out like that, but we have the ability to turn it up when needed. It's just hard to get used to. Part of me wonders if they do that deliberately. Sure they could pour on the heat right away, blow them out, and play a 4th quarter of garbage time. Or they can spot them a lead and give themselves a bit of a challenge to try and come back and win. Something like that would help them learn to deal with adversity throughout the season. So when the playoffs roll around, they're accustomed to grinding out a tough victory and not just used to teams rolling over for them. --I would like to see more of Love, TT, and Andy on the floor together. I don't think Love was terrible last night. I didn't get all the comments on here about him being terrible. He wasn't shooting well, but he still rebounded the ball and opened up things for other players. Love's shooting percentages were 30/33/50, and most of his "makes" were late in the 4th. His shot was looking pretty awful too early on. I remember one three he took looked like he shot it with a slingshot. He got fouled a few plays later and clanked his first freebee off the front of the rim. He was still getting his rebounds though, but the Knicks are a terrible rebounding team for some reason. Carmello Anthony is their top rebounder for the season. I'm hoping it's just those sleeved jerseys. Everyone seemed to be having a rough night shooting the ball.

we know how much better we are than 90% of the teams we'll play ... and we act like it until we turn it on
Our versatility and flexibility with all of our parts is going to make this team much better than last year IMO (granted we stay healthy)
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Was checking out some stats today, and thought this was interesting. I pulled some numbers on three different point guards for their first three seasons in the league.
Player A
year efg% apg tpg ppg
1 .489 2.1 1.0 3.3
2 .528 3.4 1.3 9.1
3 .441 5.5 1.3 7.9
Player B
year efg% apg tpg ppg
1 .508 2.6 0.8 4.7
2 .472 3.0 0.9 4.8
3 .500 6.6 1.4 8.0
Player C
year efg% apg tpg ppg
1 .474 5.1 1.8 5.6
2 .491 7.4 2.0 7.7
3 .506 8.2 2.0 7.9
Player C is obviously the best of the three, but it's all-time great John Stockton. Can you guess the other two?
