About time for a new thread anyway ... How's this for "living the dream"? Cunningham looks like he might get a start tonight:

Really like this kid a lot. Hopefully he's one of the few prospects I've liked that actually pans out.

Always love hearing how Lebron is declining athletically and then you see him proceed to run like a gazelle for a fast break dunk.

To be fair, he has declined, but his decline is still better than everyone.

I'm not liking how we seem to play down to teams so far this year. The way we are playing so far, the west would obliterate us. they need to find that consistency. We struggle against athletic teams like these guys for some reason, I think alot of it has to do with trying to change who we are and play their game..thats on Blatt. Delly having a very rough night.

So given how bad we have played the first half, that means we probably come out and beat them by 20 the second..lol

Any normal human being would have torn a couple knee ligaments. At the very least a hyperextension.

Lebron? Meh, he walks it off and comes back in. Pretty crazy.

Somehow the Warriors got better. And they don't have their coach (or Alvin Gentry).

If the Cavs are healthy in the finals, then them versus the Warriors should be an epic series.

Warriors look incredible right now. It seems like they're ascending as players and a unit.

That's scary.

Richard Jefferson has been insanely good for us. Didn't see this coming. I just thought he'd be a 3 point shooter, but he's defending too. Mo Williams and Jared Cunningham have been as well. Jared was +16 last night,

Something I've never really thought about until last night about TT. He makes opponents bigs exhausted. In the 4th Noel wasn't really in the mood to be trying to block shots. Jahlil didn't feel like running down the court. I feel like TT had something to do with it.

It's like a runningback that beats you up all game. Eventually the defense gets tired and frustrated from doing it all game long that they lose focus. They start to commit fouls and start becoming undisciplined. Yet, you still have TT crashing hard for rebounds.

Good point. He doesn't look it, but I think he is incredibly strong--especially in the upper body.

I don't think the Cavs can beat the Warriors at full strength. The Cavs have better players overall, but the Warriors have the best player and the best chemistry. I expect every shot Curry takes to go in from any distance. I've never seen a player like him before. It's like he's throwing a ball into the ocean with the objective of hitting water, and he hits water every time.

The only hope the Cavs would have is to really contain Curry. The Warriors can't win on their own without him playing well.

I am hope I am wrong about all of this.

I think thats the biggest thing TT/Andy bring you, they will hound the crap out of you on the boards, chase you mercilessly on defense.. they never take a play off. That gets tiring after awhile and you just want a breather

his durabilty is amazing, its a testament to his conditioning. When you consider how often he plays around the basket and how he's fouled in attempt to stop. I'm amazed how he hasn't had more injuries

the way it is i'm surprised he hasn't missed an entire season.

He's not human.

outside of curry they don't have anyone that scares me, they can't guard kyrie lebron or love one on one..betweeen delly and shump, i think we can handle curry enough. Everyone is scared to play Curry physical, even though we showed them in the finals thats exactly how you play him. A healthy GS/Cavs finals is Cavs in 5

maybe we should just let curry have his.

Bogut was a no show in the finals. Green didn't really show up until the last two games.

Klay was sporadic i believe. It was Iggy that really screwed it up for us. and they don't have David Lee anymore.

Remember last year, in the playoffs, when he landed awkwardly on his ankle, and appeared to roll it completely under ....... sat out one time out, and then was back on the court.

I believe the man is not human. lol Anyone else would have missed the rest of that game, at the very least.

His back must have been bad last year, when he got shots and missed 10 games. Knowing his tolerance for pain, I hate to think how bad that must have been.

Pfffttt....I'll take the Cavs at 100% and the Warriors at 65%, just like it was for us last year but in reverse.

Iggy will get crapped on if Lebron isn't forced to do everything and runs out of gas. Iggy is good, but Lebron was running on fumes after game 3.

Golden State is historically great, but I think this Cavs team is too if healthy.

Everyone was running of fumes by game 4. Remember, Delly pretty much had Curry shutdown up until the 4th quarter of game 3. It wasn't until he was physically exhausted and had to be stretchered to the hospital that Curry was able to get the best of him. I don't think Delly every recovered from that. Shumpurt was also playing with one arm the entire series. Mozgov was having his knee issues. I think TT, Lebron and JR were the only ones that were somewhat healthy for that series.

Yeah, I think people forget how bad we were destroying teams when everyone was healthy.. Warriors can't matchup with us when we are 100%..To be honest, I don't even think GS is the team coming out of the west

I went to the game last night, a couple interesting things of note.

Prior to the game, JR was taking warmup shots....absolutely incredible. He worked his way around the 3pt arc back and forth, launching shot after shot. He rarely missed, and this went on for about a half hour. I wish I could have seen him play.

After the half, Lebron had some contraption strapped to his back...it looked like a huge heating pad or massage device.

During timeouts, Blatt usually went out onto the court while an assistant talked to the players.

Very little interaction between LeBron and Blatt throughout the game.

Delly and TT are absolutely sick on defense, getting under their skin the entire game. I'm glad we signed TT.

Jefferson is a physical specimen.

Never been to an NBA game before, and the speed of the game is incredible. I never realized how high of an arc they had to shoot to nail a 3 over a defender, or how much air they got on jump shots. The perspective is definitely different than on TV.

Nothing new, but you just get the impression that Lebron can do whatever he wants, when he wants, and will score at will.

Shump is a sight to see in a 3 piece suit lol.

Yup. Vogel is a great coach and they have veteran talent. Not that hard to make it in the east.

cunningham is gonna make noise in the playoffs. he's gonna be one of those players that explodes deep into it.

it's crazy how we're gonna have mo, delly, and TT coming off the bench soon.

its funny we struggled mightily shooting the ball again tonight yet still find a way to do just enough to win. Love had a bad game and still ended up with 22/19...thats crazy. Love has really stepped up his defense. I'm a little concerned how easy we give up dribble penetration. But this game is another example, someone different every game comes out and puts the team on their back.
