Wow...
I can't believe how consistent we are at generating high-penalty games. It's to the point that the word pathetic doesn't cover it, and when that adjective don't fit the bill - I'm not sure what does... maybe someone getting fired?

I'm a bit apprehensive about building a team around a small, short, unstable, immature QB who may or may not be able to keep his nose clean and remain in the league for extended periods of time.

Manziel is not the problem. he is part of the answer. You bet. He's the greatest QB to ever play the game.... lol If fumbles judge greatness then Johnny is the MAN. 24/29 264 yards. who wouldn't want that as a QB? look what he just did on that TD run? Considering we have a lot of games left to evaluate. At this point, you draft weapons to place around Manziel and see what he can do next year. Regardless of who is coaching next year, you have to go with that game plan. Knowing Farmer, he'll draft another backup or special teams player in the 1st round. So you don't want to draft a QB next year. You want to bet the future on Johnny? Because players like him NEVER get hurt. ALWAYS succeed.... please enlighten me to which one of our prototypical successful QB's we have had in the past 16 years? *they need successful for more than 1 season?

i'm watching this game dude .. Down in the red zone you roll the kid out . We can't get a first down. Their whole defense is just sitting in the endzone. Rolling him out does nothing in that situation.

Johnny may or may not be the future....I'm not betting my house on him being the guy long term, however just start him the rest of the season and see if he can work on his weaknesses to improve. This season is lost anyways. It makes no sense to not see what the Guy can do in favor of journeyman McCown.
