Geeze ... Greek Freak throws an elbow at JR on the way by, and JR gets called for a foul. That flagrant on RJ was questionable too. Fortunately, everyone is having a pretty good game so far.

Nice win tonight! Couple of notes:
- Good to see Love get involved early and often. 22pts/15 rebounds. Looking to get back to the All-Star game again.
- Lebron had a quietly effective game. I felt like he didn't even try to do a whole lot and he still had 27 points. Occasionally, he'd blow by a defender for an easy layup, just to show who's boss, but it felt like he comfortably played that game in 2nd gear most the night.
- Delly with 13 assists! And I'm not sure any of them were to TT. The one time they tried to do their signature 'oop, TT got held and they didn't call it. He got a little abused on the post-ups, but with Milwaukee's size, they would of probably done that to any of our guards.
- I thought Andy looked pretty good for the few minutes he put in and the crowd sure appreciated it. Not sure why he hasn't been getting more minutes. He's looked about as effective as Mosgov lately.
- JR looks like he's finally out of his slump. He looked much, much better tonight shooting the ball.
- The team as a whole shot free throws a lot better tonight as well. It's much easier to win games when you're hitting the majority of your freebees. I think TT in particular has been working hard to be more effective at the line.

It was a good game, JR is back to being JR Swish, Lebron just quietly facilitated and just let others pick up the load. I don't like saying I'm kinda glad Mosgov got hurt since it appears the only way to get him out of the lineup. TT/Andy are much better options if you ask me...Andy is still our best defensive big and offensive. He really needs more minutes. I'm not sure if Blatt is scared to play him because of injuries, but he's money on that 15 footer which is huge because he don't have to clog the lane to get points and he's a good passer, TT offense is starting to get better, saw him go with his off hand a couple times and looked confident. Thats a plus. I'm still concerned with defense. We can't give up 100 points a game, thats just too difficult to maintain. But it was nice to see an offensive breakout. Love seems to have found a rhythm in the offense and i think that will be big.

I wonder .......
Delly is turning into such a solid distributor, I wonder if Blatt might play him some at the point even when Kyrie come back .....with Kyrie sliding to SG. Delly could still pick up the opposing SG on defense .... but Delly is really doing a nice job finding the open man so far this year. He has really improved so far.

Sorry guys, I just don't see how anyone beats GS.
Just the city of Cleveland's luck. You finally have a team with a legitimate shot to win it all, and a you have to go through a juggernaut.
The weird thing is GS is a .500 team without Curry. Most of those guys are JAGs. With him, they are likely to break 72 wins. He hasn't even reached his prime yet.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

1. You're sleeping on San Antonio.
2. Remember a couple of years ago when Miami won 27 games in a row the season after they had just won their 2nd title in a row with a prime Lebron? Yeah, pretty sure everyone in America thought that team was unbeatable, but then they got curb stomped by San Antonio.

It's the NBA Regular season. Very few things are less relevant.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

It's the NBA Regular season. Very few things are less relevant. When I think about the regular season for MLB, NHL, and the NBA I think about two points: 1. You can't win the title in the first month, but you can sure as hell lose it. 2. Great regular season teams are only great in hindsight (meaning, after the title series has been play AND assuming they won it all). Point 1 references the current Pelicans. They were supposed to be playoff contenders that took a step up but they look slightly better than the 76ers. They're title and playoff chances are essentially zero right now. Also, Point 1 is a description of the Indians. Look at their record around May 15th. They've dug too big of a hole to climb out of by the end of the season. Point 2 reference The 60-win Cavs teams with Lebron and maybe a few of the late 90's Indians. Sure they dominated most everyone in the regular season, but they failed in the postseason. So while they looked amazing midway through, its a footnote on the NBA season because they ultimately failed. Maybe the only exception to that point is the 2007 Patriots. They went 16-0 and didn't win it all, but we'll always remember then for it.

all i need is Delly to clean up some of those wtf type of TO's, but man it's night and day so far how much he has progressed.

He looks very good one night and then a little lost then next. I'm sure some advanced metrics will come out and say the team is still better with him on the floor than otherwise, because of his rebounding and passing, but I want him to be a more consistent scorer. If he's a threat to drop 22-25 every night, that opens the floor up for everyone else.

Mentioned this before, but small ball teams don't go up and grab rebounds. It'd be a disaster. They just run and try volleyball tips.

Just posting a thought. Where does Dwight Howard play next season and how much do you pay him? A team like the Knicks needs to throw max cash at him or Whitesides next offseason.
Also, I didn't even realize this until I looked it up. Love his shooting a career high at the FT line. 88% is kinda nuts. That's a huge deal because it shows me that even when Kyrie returns that Love will still find ways to score as a 3rd option. Loves best seasons were the same years he shot the most free throws.
However it terrifies me that as a team we've sucked at shooting free throws. Lebron and Kyrie are 2 of the best slashers in the NBA. They're gonna basically live at the FT line. If Love is aggressive, he will too. Guys have gotta make the easy ones.

Howard is one of my least-favorite players in the NBA. Big ego. Dumb as hell. Selfish. Doesn't play w/intensity. Disinterested too much of the time.
I watched a play last night that typifies him: He is jogging down the court behind the rest of the players. The ball is on the wing, his teammate throws a pass to Howard as DH gets to about the foul line. DH is not looking, sees it out of the corner of his eye and tries to duck out of the way as the ball hits him right in the shoulder. Absurd.
Can you imagine having Mellow and Howard on the same team? LOL.......bring back Amare, trade for Waiters, and get Nate Robinson to run the point. That would be the perfect team.
Whiteside, on the other hand............Wow! He is dynamite and he is going to keep on getting better and better.

It's crazy, but Curry is the best player in the league. He is. It's going to take an incredible defensive game plan to stop him. But if you can get him to play "poorly" a little, the rest of the team will falter. Cut the head off the monster. Cavs will need to go into the Finals completely healthy to have a chance. It's not undoable, but if GS is also healthy it will be very difficult. GS will have home court advantage which will likely be the difference in a defining game 7. The Cavs can give themselves the best chance possible by using the regular season to start playing like a team on offense. After Curry, GS's greatest strength is their chemistry on O. Cavs need to play like that also.

Watching this game and it's clear that the Cavs are superior. You can only win so many games based off of IQ and team work. You need athleticism and talent. Hawks dominate dumb teamsand there's a lot of them, trust me. They get wrecked by the Cavs because they're just as smart, but a LOT more athletic and talented.

i didn't get to see any of the game before 7 minutes of 4th because direct tv didn't tape though schedule..bastards..looks like we were never really challenged.. I think this whole talk that Atlanta is a threat in the east can stop now, we're down 4 major contributors and we walk right over them. I guess lebron did something really childish during the game. Anyone that watch provide any context?

Lebron took a seat on the bench while the ball was still in play and received a T (we were up by 20+ points). He was mad about something and apologized after the game, but didn't say what the issue was. At the time I was just under the impression that he thought the ball was dead.

I think the Bulls are the bigger threat. They just can't stay healthy long enough to beat us across a seven game series. We can't stay healthy either, but we're a lot deeper than they are.

Detroit has a trade or two left in them as well. The Drummond/Jackson pick and roll is nearly impossible to stop. They also have one of the best coaches in the league.

another loss to a inferior team. Right now our biggest issues are backcourt and bigs..they all suck. We can't defend either. Lebron is just going off the reservation and not even trying to play in the offense..his offensive game right now blows. I think time is catching him really fast. He's setting for jumpers and he's not a good shooter. He needs to be driving and finishing or dishing, thats what make this team work. Love is the best player on this team right now. We need to get healthy, right now this is just stupid, theres no chemistry and defense is just an afterthought. Tonight torontos guards had over 50 points combined.
