Any QB in this offense is going to take a lot of hits. He'll probably put up excellent passing numbers as that is ALL we do. But he will take a beating because of it. Defense just pins their ears back....

I swear that the Browns are the only team in the leagure that aren't allowed to run pick plays. Pittsburgh, New England and Denver can do it all game long. We run one and it's pass interference.

I like the strategy here and the thought process by Pettine. Our defense has been pretty stellar thus far. It made complete sense to only require the Bengals to travel half the field for a touchdown. We don't want their offense wearing out by having to try to travel the entire length of the field.
Good call. I hope we go for it on every fourth down the rest of the year, regardless of time, distance and field position.
