No doubt about it, I thought he put together a good game. He was very effective in getting his hands on people during the run game.

It was actually a pleasant surprise his performance against KC IMO!

I'm not overly worried about Erving. His play has been improving, you can see he's putting in work; his technique is getting better. You can't fix it all overnight.

With the right guys mentoring him in the offseason (and we definitely have those guys on this squad), he's going to do alright.

Now..........you are the second person who has accused me of not watching. I watch the game. I think that has been proven over time.

NOW Versatile Dog conveniently uses a PFF grade when it suits him. Every other time, PFF's grading system is garbage.

Hey, I bet the third member of the club also talked football.

Cam Erving has not played well this year. He gets overwhelmed at the LOS. He is getting a lot of help from those around him.

His grades are accurate. He did not earn a starting job. He was benched for a guy I never heard of.

Y'all can rip me, but it doesn't change the fact that the guy has sucked!

Weren't you one of the posters crying about the ranking they gave Aaron Rodgers one game?

Wait... Don't you always dismiss PFF?

Now all of a sudden you agree with them?

I disagree w/some of their grades and agree w/others.

But again, you are the one who called me out about not watching the game. I simply presented another opinion that saw the same thing as I did.

You wanna make fun of me for that? Go ahead! You wanna dismiss my opinion because of that? Go ahead!

I really don't care! I know what I see and Cam Erving is NOT playing good football.

Oh, one more thing, Swish! Why was he benched for a guy we never heard of? His number is 67. I still don't know his name? Let me guess............Pet is trying to make Farmer look bad, right??

I think he played well on Sunday.

I'm also not one to dismiss a player after a hand full of starts. He has all the room to grow.

You've dismissed him so much, it seems like you already think he's a bust.

You can get outta here with that BS, lol.

No, I have not given up on him. He plays hard. He plays w/enthusiasm. He seems like an excellent teammate.

I am just saying he has played like carp thus far. He is just so weak. He reminds me of a bowling pin. His legs just can't support his upper body and that is why he gets knocked around so much.

Great football post.

To the middle school girls club?

What is everyone's thoughts on Cam Erving playing some of the hardest competition in the NFL? I know that's no excuse, but he's just a rookie. You can't seriously expect him to do a decent job after switching between positions all year. I think he's showing a lot of promise.

Also, Pasztor's long locks remind me of Ryan Tucker. I like him as a utility player.

Seriously?

Let me ask you something. Did cfrs, Memphis, or Arch make a football post or did they just rip on me? Did I address any of one of those individuals BEFORE they addressed me?

And yet you call me out? 3 against 1 and you choose to call me out and ignore what they did.........first?

Okay man! I get where you are coming from.

He is listed at 6-7, 308 lbs. Seems more suited as an OT...

Agreed. But if he can play at guard, I'm not going to complain. A good way to keep a roster spot open.

OK, I could not see the Chiefs game, but it seemed like the OL did a better job in the run game, but it seemed like they did allow a fair bit of pressure against Manziel. Thee Chiefs do pressure everyone, so that's not a big surprise. They have 41 sacks so far, which is 4th in the NFL. (tonight's game not included)

If pressure did not come from Erving's spot, then who allowed pressure on Manziel?

I also know that the receivers certainly appear to have had great difficulty getting open. How much did that play into pressure on the QB? Please, those who saw the game, tell me what you saw.

I wouldn't say they allowed pressure so much as KC bum rushed the front of the pocket and JM had to escape it if he was ever going to see over them. It was very similar to what the Seahawks do.

That matched my memory of the game.

I've been stranded at the relative's house, and can't wait to get home to watch the recording. I thought the 2nd half was pretty entertaining... because I was expecting a blowout.

JM was on the move a LOT- and it seemed like the pressure came from various places. I liked that both (O & D) squads made effective adjustments at halftime. The designed runs that featured JM were fun to watch. They showed the seeds of something we could use quite well next year.

As far as Cam E is concerned, I didn't key on him. On Sundays, I watch as a fan. On weekdays, I try to learn the game with my DVR.

It's really quite simple. Stop making hypocritical, agenda driven posts and people won't have anything to call you out for. It's just so easy because you do it all the time.

Our crappy receivers weren't getting open either, causing JF to hold the ball longer.

well, we knew he had tendencies to get too upright and bend outward at the waist to reach for the defender, which puts the body into a weakened position of leverage.

The question is whether or not he can develop consistent proper technique, and how much will it improve his game? When you consider that Joe T's game is almost exclusively technique, you realize that it can take you quite far.

Let's hope him focusing on only one position will help him improve his technique.
