I fully expect most all of them to have moved on completely by the end of Episode 8 at the absolute latest.

Err.... whichever episode it will be that picks up the storyline again, that is, as I think the next one is a slightly different storyline, or something? ('Rogue Squadron' doesn't sound like a continuation of the same characters, but a slight deviation in story, a la the 'The Avengers' flicks with multiple interleaved storylines).

Saw it Sunday. I really liked it. Much better than Episodes 1-3 and right on par with the old ones.

I really think they can get away from the old characters and build off Rey and Finn. Both were really good.

Rogue Squadron is supposed to be "side-stories" of the original trilogy. I believe one is about how spies stole the original Death Star Plans. Another is about Han Solo in his earlier smuggling days.

Really wish they would do a Solo origin story.

I thought that one has already been green-lighted?

Just saw the movie again tonight (2nd time). I enjoyed it a lot more and some of the acting didn't seem as cheesy. After seeing it originally in 3D, and tonight not in 3D... 3D isn't worth it for this movie. Granted, it has some serious "WOW" moments with it, but you lose nothing by not having it.

That kind of disturbs me. I don't want a young Han Solo movie because it would be some stranger playing the role. Too late for that. Han Solo RIP.

They did in the books. It was really good. Too bad Disney removed all the books from cannon.

Han Solo Trilogy

Thought I read somewhere that the next movie wasn't going to be an 'origin' story but just an adventure in his early smuggling days.
I like what your link says better so lets hope that's how it turns out!

It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

I saw that this morning and felt like they left a lot of joke potential on the table for that one.
