That last Osweiler pass was a desperation "I need a PI" heave.

Steelers have less talent on D than we do, and they find a way. Always.
No one will convince me that FQB and coaching don't make a difference.

Denver needs Peyton back to have a chance They need 2013 Peyton Manning back. Unfortunately, all they have is 2015 Peyton Manning.

I hate Ben with a passion, but the guy is a winner. Pitt will be winners as long as they have him under center.
Congratulations to our 2016 NBA Champion CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!! Greatest comeback in sports history... Hail to the King!

--Great game between Carolina and Giants. Loved watching it.
--KC's defense is very, very good. Alex Smith takes care of the football. They are a good team.
--I wish I was a Steeler's fan.
--Carr throws a lot of picks despite having a very good OL and tremendous receivers.
--Cousins is making himself some money and Gruden is going to keep his job, which are two things most of us doubted not too long ago.
--Teddy is the real deal.
--Is there a more boring qb in the league than Weeden? Gawd!
--Does Miami have the worst "want-to" in the league, or what? They got drilled by SD, who has been absolutely devastated by injuries and didn't have too much talent to begin with.
--Sammy Watkins pouts too much.
--Matt Ryan is so overrated. Sheesh.

SD's best of the bad teams in the league. I would have been very surprised had they lost to Miami.

--Carr throws a lot of picks despite having a very good OL and tremendous receivers. Carr has thrown 11 INTs (and 30 TDs) on 502 attempts (2.19% INT rate.) That's just about league median and puts him just behind Ryan Tannehill (2.16%) and just better than Brees (2.21%), Cam Newton (2.28%), and Kirk Cousins (2.28%). It also puts him ahead of Fitzp (2.60%), Winston (2.61%), Stafford (2.65%), Mariota (2.70%), Flacco (2.91%), Bradford (2.97%), Roethlisberger (3.01%), Luck (4.10%), and Romo (5.79%). Also puts him ahead of several other usual suspects and a guy who I don't want to kick while he's down. Since you're wondering, Brigewater is 12th-best at INT rate at 1.99%. Anyways, my point here is that this comment is statistically inaccurate. On the other hand, he also has thrown 30 TD passes for a 5.98% TD rate, behind only Newton (7.52%) Wilson (7.00%), Palmer (6.60%), Dalton (6.48%), Brady (6.12%), and Tyrod Taylor (essentially tied at 5.99%). Bridgewater is still 36th in the league at 3.23%, despite throwing 4 TDs on Sunday. --Teddy is the real deal. I did not get to see the game on Sunday, but he did throw a third of his season's TD passes yesterday. I saw the AP's stat line was on of his worst all season. Was Chicago stacking the box?

LOL If Farmer stays...I know EXACTLY where I will be next season. Yeah, I went there. Enough of this garbage. Get some talent in the front office and on the field. Period.
After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.

Yeah, I should have clarified and used the word "lately." He had 2 early ones yesterday and threw four a couple of weeks ago.
With that said, you were right about Carr and I was wrong. He is throwing the ball down the field more than I thought he would and he certainly has displayed more guts than I thought he had. I can only say that you were right and I was wrong so many times, steve. I have definitely said it at least a dozen times.
Teddy and AP? Peterson went out in the first half w/about 50 yds. Teddy picked it up. AP returned in the second half, but only got another 10 - 15 yds. TB made a wide-range of passes including a tear drop in the back corner of the end zone to Diggs. The most impressive thing is that he is playing like this behind a very banged-up OL that doesn't give him hardly anytime. It's always a topic of conversation when commentators are examining Minni's play.

Teddy is a small ball QB. Nothing wrong with that just not the best fit for a Norv Turner scheme. Put him in a true West Coast scheme and he would be a stud. He isnt a risk taker. He doesnt have the arm to stretch the field but his short to mid is as good as it gets. In this scheme however he is captain checkdown. he really reminds me a lot of Montana. Isnt gonna take a lot of chances with the football but put the ball where receivers can make plays for him.
Carr, thought he should be a strong consideration for the #1 overall pick and it looks like he should have been the #1 overall pick.
Johnny is late to the party but he still has a chance to be the best out of that elite QB class. BTW still say metlenberger is gonna be better than Mariotta lol.

That seems to be the only pass play the Vikings run.

Maybe that's why they are having success doing it... Novel thought.

It's always a topic of conversation when commentators are examining Minni's play. That TD pass was big time major league. I saw it live. I didn't think it had any chance and it was right on target. The criticisms of Bridgewater, however, are warranted. PFT even had something on it yesterday.

Defensive minded coaches around the league would kill for Teddy. Offensive minded coaches would pass on him again in the draft.

Dropped dime after dime to Parker at Louisville on that one.

It was a thing of beauty. It was really a perfect throw. Also, Diggs was selected after Vincent Mayle.

The depth of their route trees have a lot more to do w/the OL than Teddy.
I am just wondering if anyone other than me actually listens to the game announcers when the Vikings play or if they listen to the guys talk on post game shows?
They talk about this all the time. Terry Bradshaw said he would like to see Teddy throw 30-40 times a game instead of 18. Jimmy J. said that would be crazy w/how bad their OL is. TB then says, Teddy should throw it 18 times a game. LOL
Look, I don't think TB is perfect, but he beat Carr head to head. His team has a great record considering how bad they were before he got there. He is doing what is asked of him. In the two games where AP had some issues, TB had good games. He even threw for 335 last week against AZ.
I sometimes wonder if posters on this board are critical of TB because some of us wanted the Browns to draft him so bad and they hate admitting that perhaps we were right.

Stanford and the Lions are putting it to the hapless defense of the Saints. Maybe they should hire Rob Ryan?

I honestly thought his immediate strength was as a returner and he would grow into a WR... he became a serious WR threat even faster than I thought he would. I said over and over during the draft that his stock was low because he played with some seriously crappy QBs at Maryland... I guess that was my found acorn for the year.

I've been extremely envious of the Vikings as I think they have been running their team the exact (Maybe not the exact, but certainly close enough) same way we SHOULD have ran our team. From keeping Norv to drafting Teddy and other players I really wanted.
