Like I said there is no LAW that specifically says you can open carry but there isn't one that doesn't.

Perhaps you're getting a little technical with "law"?

There is no law that says I'm allowed to breathe in Ohio, either.

I know it is legal, I never said it was illegal and I'm not nitpicking. Go ahead and strap a loaded gun on your belt and walk into a mall and see how fast you are surrounded by cops. And they are registered with the FFL you buy them from which can be easily accesses by any government agency who runs the serial number so don't tell me I'm wrong, your the one nitpicking.

I do it in Walmart all the time superconfused and have no problems...and wherever there is sign that prohibits it and forget to take it off the manager usually came and asked me to put it int the car...no police involved.

so yes youre wrong and have spread bad info...ok made my point you want to argue semantics go ahead but you are woefully misinformed...or have a wrong understanding of the law...so I'll continue to carry and not have problems and you can continue to call nics registration.

Good for you man, I'm glad you live in a town where you can open carry without people freaking out. Glad to see another 2nd ammendment supporter. I'm sure alot of the laws have changed in recent years, I just know I had a gun stolen that I bought a long time ago and the police where able to run the numbers on it because I bought it at a gun shop. Don't mean to argue with you just going off what I was taught at my CCW class on some things. Have a good night.

I got you, I think alot of it comes down to the officers discretion. I doubt any of the police or sherrif in my town would give anyone much of a problem being the police chief teaches CCW classes. The state patrol on the other hand you never know.

When you buy a gun you go through an "instant" background check by the Feds. The Feds are SUPPOSED to destroy any record of your purchase after a certain period( I think it's like 6 months but not certain). I seriously doubt that they do so however. They are supposed to have a warrant before listening to our conversations or reading our missives in Email or text. We all know they aren't following those rules any longer.... Aside from that and the gun stores records, there is no "registration" in Ohio. If you want to avoid any of that, just buy off an private individual and there's no record at all. Perfectly legal....

Not sure about gun laws...Ithink in NYS you have to have it locked up in the trunk???

Shame this kid was doing good I remember the doom and gloom over his past when he came.

Ummm Thanks Sanders...way to help this team arrive in November and ruin the career of one of our Promising young players...and Shame on AMONTY he should have known - you got to figure this wasn't his first time doing this not everyone gets caught in their first bad moment.

He's suspended the Steeler game also...he is done whether he comes back or not at all has got to be seen - The NFL will put their mark on this somewhere.

Arrghhh I assume Armonty is in trouble cause of the probation violation???

I don't see the Adderall as a big deal...

I think the expectations and pressure put on Athletes to perform by Owners, coaches and fans are half the reason these athletes do what they do.

Is this sarcasm?

I wouldn't know this Sanders kid if he walked into my house right now and said "Hey, I'm Sanders" and he'll hardly be missed by me, you or any Browns fan - but I'm certainly not going to blame him for a choice Bryant made. He got in the car with him with the Adderall in hand.

Wasn't Joe Haden suspended for testing positive for Adderall? I know its a banned substance by the NFL, because its used as a masking agent for something else. I'm not sure if its used to mask PEDs or grass, though. On the other hand, maybe Bryant really takes it for ADD, but then why no prescription?

If He has a script AND a medical exemption from the NFL for the adderall then he is OK. If he is missing either one he is in trouble with the NFL. If he doesn't even has a script then he could be in trouble wit the law as well

Thanks for the memories Armonty!

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Two then-Cleveland Browns players were indicted Tuesday on gun and drug charges in connection with a Christmas-day traffic stop.

Linebacker Armonty Bryant faces two felony drug possession charges, and former defensive back De'Ante Saunders faces one charge of improperly handling weapons in a motor vehicle, according to the indictment made public Wednesday.

The men are scheduled to be arraigned in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Feb 24.

Another sad story to add to the list. I was actually quite upset with Armonty in December when this broke. I praised his attitude and etc after the dui and sincerely thought the light "had popped on" but I guess it just supplies even more evidence why, from here on out - we need to stay away from young men with character issues. We just simply have to, least until we have some sorta solid base or foundation where we're granted some flexibility in terms of taking a risk or not.

Yep two felony charges will get him a big time suspension. Hopefully we cut him and it's over. Don't need the distractions.

That's not so bad.

Oh wait. This is for PEDs and not his arrest.

Cut him.

No less than a week after we drafted him if my memory serves me correctly, he got that DUI. Had pot issues in school, the idiot sold smoke to an undercover.

I'm just done with these types of kids. I can see why you'd lobby to keep him, and agree with the facts as to why - but I just don't want to.

Yeah, pot is so bad.

I'm not certain but I thought he plead not guilty to the charges? Can anyone confirm?

Appears the big brains aren't prepared to cut Armonty and are expecting him back for offseason programs.

I don't get it, JF was axed - we should be axing all the troubled players that have been giving second plus opportunity(s) and have pissed em away. JMO.

It's pretty simple, IMO. The dude is cheap as hell, we have little/no pass rush, and he has flashed at times.

My point is, they preach about character, here you have someone with a riddled history that's "still" not getting their life in order.

Cheap, effective or whatever, if you remove one onion from the fridge, gotta do it to all the onions. If we're rebuilding from ground zero, mays as well clean house truly.

I believe the problem is you listen to what they say rather than watch what they do. If you compared what they say to what they do, none of this would surprise you.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

'Armonty Bryant faces further possible NFL suspension after misdemeanor drug conviction'

http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ss..._social_feature

By Mary Kay Cabot, cleveland.com on July 27, 2016 at 8:14 PM, updated July 27, 2016 at 9:31 PM

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns edge-rusher Armonty Bryant is already suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. But he now faces further possible discipline or suspension from the league after a misdemeanor drug conviction on Wednesday.

Bryant, 26, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted drug possession, a first-degree misdemeanor, in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.

He was sentenced to 68 days probation through Oct. 3, the same day his four-game suspension for PED ends.

Bryant also received a suspended 180-day jail sentence and $1,000 fine stemming from the Christmas morning arrest with former Browns defensive back De'Ante Saunders, who was charged with suspicion of drunk driving and speeding. Saunders pleaded not guilty has a pre-trial hearing Aug. 1.

Bryant, who was already on probation for an earlier marijuana conviction, was originally charged with felony drug possession after Adderall and Oxycodone were found in Saunders' car.

An NFL spokesperson said the matter will be reviewed under all the relevant policies. That could include the substance abuse policy for the Oxycodone and the personal conduct policy for the arrest and conviction.

The Browns had no comment Wednesday and will address it Thursday during a training camp press conference with Hue Jackson, Sashi Brown and Paul DePodesta. Brown said in March he'd let the legal process play out before making a decision on Bryant.

A seventh-round pick in 2013 out of Division II East Central University in Oklahoma, Bryant was likely already in the NFL's substance abuse program before the Christmas morning stop.

He was arrested months before the Browns drafted him for selling marijuana to an undercover police officer in an East Central University parking lot, and charged with felonious distribution of marijuana. He was suspended from his college team for three weeks.

Then, less than a week after the Browns drafted him, he was picked up for drunk driving in Oklahoma. But he buckled down and stayed out of trouble for more than two years until his misadventure with Saunders.

The arrest came during a breakout season for the fourth-year pass-rusher, who finished with a career-best 5.5 sacks last season despite coming off a torn ACL from the year before.

The Browns are short on experienced edge-rushers with 2015 sack-leader Desmond Bryant expected to miss the entire 2016 season after undergoing torn pectoral surgery two weeks ago.
