Oh boy.

This is the team I've wanted to see all season right now. Carving up the Raptors with passes.

Even when JR tries on defense he sucks. I love the shot attempts though.

man our bigs blow..TT has zero ability to defend the rim and Mosgov isn't much better, that is concerning. Blatt and his rotations are really starting to annoy me..TT should not be starting over Mosgov and Delly should be getting about half the minutes he does..meanwhile, proven nba players like Mo and RJ rot on the bench..james jones before RJ and Mo..gmafb

Cavs playing some outrageous D right now. Toronto's completely off their game.

These guys are making shots from the parking lot!

WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM

Four observations from the game last night:
1.) When JR gets good looks, he knocks them down. When he hits a couple in a row, he could go unconscious.
2.) I love Shump's game. Great defender and takes his shots in the flow of the offense. He doesn't need to get 20 touches and try to drop 25.
3.) Kyrie is definitely shaking the rust off. Man, I forgot how good he is in transition and he can shoot from ANYWHERE.
4.) We made a couple of nice runs while LeBron was on the bench. Delly is no all star, but the guy plays his butt off...

Wizards shot 74% in the 3rd. Part of that is bad defense. The other part is insanely streaky hot shooting.

wonder if John wall thinks Kyrie being voted into the all star game is a joke now? Kyrie when healthy is the best pg in the game, and he can shoot every bit as good as Curry when he gets going, not to mention he's easily the best finisher at the rim. Everything is so much easier when Kyrie is out there..no coincidence JR is getting his shot back, he's getting some crazy good looks

Our bigs still suck, that has to be fixed, we have no rim protection. Delly needs to have some minutes dialed back, he just isnt that good..he does a couple things ok, but nothing that justifies talking all of Mo's minutes..getting annoyed with Blatt's rotations. You watch teams like GS, they don't always play their best lineups, they get everyone on the bench involved, thats how it should be. If youre truly a contender, then that doesn't even slow you down, I think Delly is going to be a great asset when the games slow down in the playoffs, theres no need to run our players into the ground in january. Get RJ, MO, Andy and James Jones some minutes. Not going to hurt getting people rest. Problem with last year is blatt ran everyone into the ground before the playoffs rolled around and by the time we got deep people were fried. We have an extremely deep team, probably the deepest in the league, no reason not to use them all season

Something kind of interesting. There's 2 day layoffs between every NBA Finals game with the exception of game 3 to game 4. I read it's going to be like that permanently since teams have to travel.

It's all good when Kyrie is hot, but man, the guy hogs the ball. Some of those plays reminded me of pure playground ball. Dribble, dribble, dribble and then shoot while everyone else is forced to stand around and watch his greatness.

Just what we need, another guy who doesn't like to run an offense other than "I dribble and you watch."

It's certainly fun and exciting to watch if he is hitting the shots.

However, I am a fan of "team basketball." I love how San Antonio and Golden State move the basketball and get everyone involved. I am not a fan of isolation ball.

And I think that while the Cavs might make more highlight reels than those teams, it will be their undoing in the playoffs.

Everything the Wizards threw up was going in. We had to play like that to match them. We did it and then some! Just look art the score. We scored 120+ on a team that beat us earlier....in their house.

Great, and somewhat surprising news for Jared Cunningham. He worked hard, and really improved on defense ... but I am still a little surprised that the Cavaliers will guarantee his contract at a total cost to them of around $4 million. (contract and tax)

Anyway, congratulations to Jared It's well deserved.

Cleveland Cavaliers plan to guarantee contract of Jared Cunningham | cleveland.com
http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2016/01/jared_cunningham_1.html#incart_m-rpt-1

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Cleveland Cavaliers will guarantee the salary of Jared Cunningham, which means the 6-3 guard will remain with the team past Thursday's deadline, league sources informed cleveland.com.

The non-guaranteed, one-year deal Cunningham signed in the off-season will become fully guaranteed at $981,348. The Cavaliers faced a 5 p.m. EST deadline to make a decision on retaining or releasing. Waiving him would have shed his remaining salary and he'd hit the waiver wire.

Due to Joe Harris' looming operation on his right foot and the injury to Mo Williams' right thumb, Cunningham provides a security blanket in the backcourt.

Williams flew to New York after Wednesday's win over the Wizards to see a hand specialist. It's the same thumb he had surgery on twice in past years. As of now, he is expected to join the team in Minneapolis for Friday's game.

The 24-year-old Cunningham is playing on his fifth team in four years, but is experiencing his most productive pro season. He's appeared in 25 games, the most he's ever played in a season. All three of his career starts have come this season.

If the Cavaliers don't make any changes to the roster, Cunningham would cost the team about an extra $3.8 million in luxury tax dollars on top of the $170 million or so they'll fork out.

Cunningham is averaging 3.4 points in 27 appearances this season. He's a player LeBron James has taken under his wing.

not to be a richard, but i seriously doubt your knowledge of the game with this statement. Cunningham is a below average player with athleticism, much like TT, you seem to be drawn to these types..

I think you really underestimate the defensive side of things. Mo is a defensive liability. It's like playing 5 on 4. That's why Delly gets all of his minutes. I don't know that Cunningham is better than Mo, but at least we can throw him out there to provide high-energy defense for a couple minutes a game.

He sure was dialed in tonight. 3rd game in a row with 120+, and 2 of them were on the road. I didn't know Tayshaun Prince was still in the league.

It never ceases to amaze me how great Kyrie is. Even if he's not scoring, he puts an insane amount of pressure on opponents defensively. He attacks the basket as much as Lebron. He could end up being the 2nd greatest Cav of all time.
