No way I am shaking mac's hand. Not after the crap he is pulling on this thread.

Secondly, I didn't bring up the other players to really talk about them. I brought them up because those guys had bigger issues than Manziel, yet mac didn't attack them the way he has attacked JM. He is also saying things that have not been proven. It is not proven that he is an alcoholic or a drug addict. The names Johnny Drunk and Johnny Loco are stretches given the fact that he has never been suspended.

I stand by everything I said.

You have called me a liar multiple times in this thread. I was suspended for calling someone a liar after they called me a liar once before, so I can't say what I think you are. I will just say that I am telling the truth and I think most board members know that I am NOT a liar!!!

I dont feel like explaining why I'm laughing hysterically reading a football board to my wife...so I just showed her your post...she didnt laugh but did ask if someone was being sued...which made me laugh hysterically again.

I have not lied. He is simply using this tactic to deter the conversation that he has unjustly labeled Manziel even though he did no such thing w/other players who have had more serious accusations and/or actual suspensions levied against them.

Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel still needs to fix his off-field issues if he’s going to succeed in the NFL, coach Mike Pettine says.

“Here is a guy that has an NFL skill set, he’s very talented, if you spend some time with him, he’s a likable guy, you root for him,” Pettine said of Manziel, via Cleveland.com. “But there are problems there that we’ll talk as we’re headed to the offseason about getting addressed. And I’ve said this before, we want to make sure that all of our players are in good shape as people first, players second. Because I don’t think you can be as effective as you can be as a player if things aren’t right off the field. And he’s a good example of that.”

A big problem Manziel has is a complete inability to stop appearing in viral videos. Pettine might have benched Manziel this week for his latest video appearance, but before Pettine could address the matter, Manziel said he had concussion symptoms, resulting in him being ruled out for Week 17.

Pettine is obviously right that Manziel’s off-field issues need to be addressed, but it remains to be seen whether Pettine is the coach to address them. The Browns could fire Pettine after Sunday’s season finale, and then Manziel would become the next coach’s problem.

I believe that Manziel's odd behaviors stem back to his judgement when he is under the influence.

To be honest, JM exhibits the behaviors, not much different than others who have drinking problems. Most drunks exhibit poor judgement of some kind...Manziel just loves to advertise himself while under the influence.

I know it wont happen...but I sure would like for Johnny to come right out and say what he went to rehab for exactly...no ones business...but damn would it clear some things up...or make it worse depending on if it was for alcohol.

Man I'd just like to see he take it on like championing for a certain cause...I'm very ignorant to rehab stuff...but do people go there if their life is a wreck...emotional issues?? or is it strictly drug/alcohol problems??
