Any Bengals fan I've come across (which are few) are never optimistic about a win over an upcoming opponent. Steelers fans rub it in every chance they get. Pretty much this. You guys don't live around Cincy do you? They were talking super bowl in October. Yup they were. They talk more crap about the Browns here than any fans I've heard. I hate Cincy to the ultimate. I'm loving this.

no flag…wow. ANYONE ELSE in the league gets flagged and ejected without hesitation. Yeah, and the league official says a very unfortunate hit....yeah right! unfortunate for the bengals…shame cause shazier was a buckeye. Hate seeing guys play like that when they get to the next level.

The years and years and years of bull double standard for Pittsburgh in this type of situation, has got to stop.
The only real reason pittsburg is winning this game, ( I believe) is because they injured the Bengal quarterback 5 weeks ago,
Just like they did to Carson Palmer, about 7 years ago.
This is the biggest disgrace to the NFL, since , well since they let Ben Roethlisburger stay in the league after the Rape charges.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Initially I though the hit on Bernard was also illegal. But the more I see it I think Shazier was wrapping up - head down but not necessarily spearing. Runner dipped into it as much as anything. . . certainly a bang bang play. The reaction of Shazier after he knew the guy he hit was still down was classless and shameless.

How many fights has he started? How much "stuff" after the whistle? I had no problem with his hit on Roethlisberger...that's football. The other garbage, not so much. Not to even mention the crap after the Bernard hit when half the Bengals bench emptied like it was an MLB brawl. The Bengals players have had enough of the favoritism. Wish the Browns played with that much competitive fire. If that had been a Browns player that had been speared with no penalty, Haden would have been laughing on the sideline with Antonio Brown while our medical staff tended to the player.

That was my initial thought. At full speed and the first couple times I saw it I thought it was a penalty for sure. But on watching it 6 or 7 times, and maybe there was just one angle that made it look less certain ... I am not sure that its that cut and dry.
