So you say you aren't giving him excuses while listing his excuses.

This wasn't a one time instance.

He was arrested several times for the same thing.

There is a recording of the 911 call from his wife.

Did someone fabricate that?

Did maybe the police officer throw the woman off the balcony and then blame it on Jim Brown? Perhaps the officer that he assaulted?

Was Brown just a scapegoat and it was someone else destroying his wife's car with a shovel while his wife was telling the 911 operator that he threatened to kill her?

I understand that times were different and things were often fabricated to implicate black men in crimes, but my God!

There is a difference between being healthily skeptical and refusing to believe the truth because it doesn't fit your vision of reality.

Jim Brown is a thug. I can tolerate celebrating what he did on the football field. What I can't tolerate is trying to make that thug out to be some kind of hero.

Brown may have had it rough, but not as rough as the woman he raped or the one he threw off the balcony. Not as rough as his wife or the other women he beat up.

You can choose to believe whatever you want I guess, but remember what you enable with such a choice. Are women more or less safe today because of that choice?
