That is true Pit, he hasn't performed how I think/hope he can perform. I hope this year he can step it up and have a good season.
I just want a good season and hopefully he can help us get there.

That's my sincerest of hopes as well.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Considering Braylon missed because of family issues, people simply make up what they want to so they can keep their hatred rolling
Really? Previously, Leon said he missed because he was in a charity golf event. What's the story now?
Whats this have to do with Leon Williams?

Why? So you can tell me I'm wrong and you're right and my ideas are stupid and yours are better. What could I possibly gain from sharing my ideas about defenses and coverages with YOU?
I thought I explained that in the first post. I said it would help us talk about football, it would help educate people, and we would not be talking about Leon---which I thought was your wish.
And as far as being demeaning, only one of us has been demeanining towards the other. As in..........dictionary definition of hypocrite.
But the offer is still on the table, coach. Anytime you really wanna talk about football, please let me know. I'll be an eager participant.

Hey! You told me to "shove it" I'm fairly certain that isn't football related

I'm sure he meant "shove it" in the most constructive manner possible........... He could have just been getting tired of the "excuse machine" that gets put on overtime around here so often.

First of all, I was talking to "coach," not you. Secondly, while I may have been rude to you..........I doubt I said "shove it." That is much too tame for me.

You weren't rude, I probably deserved it! Pit - We're Browns fans, don't we survive off the excuse machine?

"Why will our receiver coaches not step up and tell Braylon he doesn't have to jump for every friggin ball. I watched Braylon almost every single game he has played in since coming here and he ALWAYS jumps for the ball even when he doesn't have to."
Maybe we should have the QB throw the ball lower...lol
Seriously - One of the all time greats....Lance Alworth - his philosophy was to jump airborn with each catch (of course in those days everyone played Zone) and credited this practice in him playing his career without significant injuries. Quite frankly I wish BE to Catch the ball and remain healthy, if it means jumping so be it...and quite frankly I saw him jumping on the high ones and really don't see any wrong.
You can tell his talent is on a different level watching him in the drills - he is so smooth and his finger tips catches seem almost perfect (low ball drill) and hands looked plenty soft.

You dont' hear footsteps in drills. I think that played a MAJOR roll in his drops last year after is injury. Hopefully that psycological fear has faded away.

According to Quinn though Braylon is the real deal and has superb route running ability (isn't that contradictory to what everyone says about him???)
Are they hitting yet? When they do hit then you'll see Braylon run a horrible slant.

The only people who call me "coach" are my players and my fellow coaches. You are neither, so you can stop. Besides, I don't come on here to talk about how I coach football or what the details of my job entail. I come here to talk about the Cleveland Browns. Seeing as how I don't have any affiliation with the Browns and their coaching staff, I don't really see what me being a coach has anything to do with this or any other thread. If you are still bitter about me calling you out for dogging Turk about something that happened last week, then tough. Get over it. Stop calling people out and maybe the same won't happen to you in return.

It takes awhile for a lot of these young receivers to learn how to run good routes because they can seperate easier in college where the DBs simply arent as fast. If Edwards route running doesnt make dramatic improvement this year then something is wrong. Lets see what the new receivers coach can get through to him.

Like Mensa eluded to, his route running is fine when there is no contact. When there is contact it seems to change...which means if he wasn't so afraid to get hit, his routes would be a lot cleaner. If that really is the case, we're in trouble.
