If only Jerry Jones' son had been sick that day..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

*Sigh* The kid just doesn't get it. It's just sad. LOOK: Johnny Manziel's wild West Coast party tour continues - CBSSports.com http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foot...-tour-continuesIf Johnny Manziel is going to make a return to the NFL anytime soon, he's probably going to need to cut down on his partying, something that definitely didn't happen this week. Over the past five days, the Manziel party train has made stops in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Last weekend, Johnny Football took a photo with chef Mario Batali while hitting up a club in Vegas. That's not all Manziel did though -- the former Browns quarterback also attended a Chris Brown concert at Drai's Beach and Nightclub in Vegas. Manziel showed off his dance moves and his champagne bottle during the concert. If you haven't noticed yet with Manziel, what happens in Vegas never stays in Vegas. He can't even take a selfie without ending up on the Internet. After his trip to Vegas, Manziel made his way to Los Angeles, where he attended the Heat-Lakers game Wednesday. Judging by the photo below, Manziel is probably passing his time by checking photos of himself on the Internet. After the game, Manziel hit up a club in Hollywood, where he definitely wasn't the biggest name. According to TMZ, the list of celebrities at the club included Kendall Jenner, Brody Jenner, Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez. Manziel's party tour comes less than two weeks after he hired new agent Drew Rosenhaus. Although Rosenhaus insists that several teams are interested in Manziel, it's getting harder and harder to believe. According to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, teams just aren't interested in Manziel right now, and that won't change until he makes "some major life changes and makes real strides towards sobriety."

I gotta admit, reading those articles after we cut him is a million times friendlier than reading them when he was still, technically, a member of the team.
He's a moron, how else could you describe him?

Does God approve of kicking a man when he is down? Manziel doesn't play here anymore. Why do you feel the need to keep talking about him?
Piling on is the Christian thing to do, right?

Piling on is the Christian thing to do, right? Says the guy who has repeatedly bashed Gordon for his drug issues and called him a "punk" just the other day. Solid post, Vers.

Drew Rosentaus - "Johnny, we actually got a phone call by a team interested in you!"
Johnny - "Drew I'm a little hung over, but that's slick news! Wherever it is, send me a list of that city's bars and clubs!"
Drew - "Just messing with ya Johnny, ain't no team interested in you. Are you serious!? You must still be drunk and it's 9am!"
Johnny - "No problem, can I still get some sort of list with bars and clubs dude?"

It is a story about one of our former players, and i thought that there would be interest on the message board.
Frankly, I hope that people pray for the kid, I think that he needs it.

Okay, but it sure seems that it's just another excuse for people to make-fun of Manziel. Just look at the replies.
At this point, what purpose does that serve. I could see it if he was still a member of the team, but it's to the point of overkill.
Just my opinion and perhaps another way to view the situation.

Perhaps, but we had threads about Hoyer for ... well .... more than a year after he left. There is one active right now.
People still talk about DQ, and Ward ...... and so forth. I think that people have a curiosity about our former players ..... whether for good, or for bad. There are different circumstances in the way they left, to be sure, but they are still players no longer on this team.
I read the article about Manziel, and found it both interesting, and sad. I figured that other people might be interested as well.

Report: Johnny Manziel actually living with Josh Gordon Johnny Manziel is living with an NFL player who knows something about being suspended, but it apparently isn’t Von Miller. Despite Manziel claiming that he was staying with the Super Bowl MVP, his roommate actually isn’t in the league at the moment. According to ESPN, the former Browns quarterback is staying in an apartment with suspended Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon. If he’s being honest with himself, Gordon would probably prefer to not have Manziel’s name associated with his, at a time when Gordon’s trying to get reinstated from his own year-long suspension for multiple violations of the substance abuse program. After he told a TMZ cameraman last weekend he was living with Miller, Manziel said: “We’re getting our lives together, bro.” Miller has bounced back from a six-game suspension for violating the league’s drug policy in 2013, and has gotten his together nicely. Both Gordon and Manziel could benefit from that kind of example, even though they’re not under the same roof. And while TMZ would happily oblige, there should be cameras in that apartment, for the inevitable reality show. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/201...th-josh-gordon/

Yep. Blue Light Special. Highest price takes it all. (player, talent, baggage, and risks)

I am starting to have some doubt that Josh Gordon will actually be reinstated. It has already been well over two months since he applied for reinstatement, and had he shown the league everything it wants to see (including proof of continued sobriety), he should have already been reinstated.
The fact that it's taking even longer suggests something else is going on-- either JG hasn't shown the NFL everything it wants to see or the league is intentionally dragging its feet because it can. I don't think him hanging out and living with Johnny Manziel helps his case although with any sense of fairness, it shouldn't automatically penalize him either.
All this is speculation of course. I don't know what's going on, just throwing some possibilities out there. I'd wager that he's still likely to get back in, but as I wrote above, some doubt is creeping in. Nothing more.

The closer it gets to the draft, the more I believe this is intentional by Goodell. There's really no need to keep the Browns in the dark regarding Gordons status right up until, or even after the draft.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

MAnziel has a problem with Cocaine. He looks 25lbs lighter than he did last season, he is clearly wasted in that video. He is never coming back to the NFL. He is this generations Ryan Leaf.

Report: Johnny Manziel is living in Los Angeles with Josh Gordon Unemployed NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel said over the weekend that he's living in Los Angeles with Broncos linebacker and fellow Texas A&M alum Von Miller. Turns out, Manziel is not to be trusted, at least according to sources that told ESPN that the former Browns first-round pick is actually living with former Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon in an apartment off Sunset Boulevard. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-foot...ith-josh-gordonnot sure if it is true or not...hope not for Gordon's sake...would be a boneheaded move to do that when trying to get reinstated.
