2, you know what they say about best laid plans... A couple years ago, there was this Qb out of Wisconsin that I was really high on. I wanted us to draft him in the top of the 5th sooo badly. Unfortunately he went in the 3rd. I don't remember any projections for him to go as high as the 4th round let alone 3rd. Yet there was Seattle, thwarting my great idea. Would he Browns have drafted him in the 5th? Doubtful but who knows. But I cannot say that as GM of the Browns that I would have drafted Wilson because he was taken 2 round ahead of where he was projected. Tqught me a lesson. You weren't the only one.. At least three teams, and quite possibly more, planned to draft Wisconsin's Wilson shortly after the Seahawks selected him with the 75th overall pick in the third round of April's draft, according to league sources.
The Philadelphia Eagles intended to draft Wilson 13 slots after Seattle's pick, at No. 88 overall, to back up Michael Vick but wound up drafting Arizona quarterback Nick Foles instead.
The Indianapolis Colts planned to pick Wilson with the 92nd overall selection in the third round to back up Luck before taking Florida International wide receiver T.Y. Hilton.
And even the Washington Redskins would have grabbed Wilson with the 102nd overall pick in the fourth round to back up Griffin, but when he was gone, they picked Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

not saying to dismiss it, just saying to look at it with a critical eye. I agree and I think I did that when I responded to guard's articles. I know you weren't addressing me, but I'm just saying. I trust that you feel the same way about the positive articles that people post about Wentz? I haven't seen anyone question those articles. Hmmmmmmmmm

A low light clip base...The only thing I thought was incorrect was the statement about his pocket being clean and he didn't have to worry about pressure.
Watching Wentz was often like watching A.J. McCarron at Alabama. Wentz was regularly throwing to receivers in space from completely clean pockets.
I just didn't find that statement true at all. To show he was unbiased he started out with a couple of success. None of those btw were wide open. Watching complete tapes many of his great throws are in tight windows. I think he is too confident in that regard and has to learn when not to. He still has to trust his accuracy. He does have to work on his footwork like all QBs do. One year with our coaches and McCown as a mentor should do him wonders. jmho
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
