yup they wanted to keep Mack and Mack wanted out as well as Benji...all three made up their minds that they were leaving. so nope will not lose any sleep because they are gone. difference is I think Gipson wanted out long before Mack...seems like Mack was a little unsure what he wanted to do at first...hence the decent contract offer. then made up his mind as well...could be wrong tho has happened once or twice in my life.

You are reading too much into a quote from a player trying to say nice things about a team he just signed with.

So Mack wanted to leave (he literally signed with another team) and then had to come back because he was transition tagged.

That worked out well.

Football players play for who pays them, it usually doesn't matter if they want to be in a place or not.
