If Cook is our guy, it makes sense to trade up from 32 and get back in to the first round. Above making sure he is there, you have contract implications. First rounds get 5 year contracts. Others get 4. That 5th year is big, especially at QB when you plan to sit him for a year or more.

My thinking is if we trade out of #8, it is being done to set up our 2nd pick of the 1st round.

I am sure our analytic crew has that figured out.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

I can't remember it well enough to be sure. I don't wanna make something up.

I could see him liking Manziel on the field. I think a lot of people did. Heck, I did. LOL

"I don't care about being in the public, being on the internet, that's not who I am. I never got that attention from when I was growing up, I don't need that attention now."

I remember how pumped Gruden was during the draft, but his whole demeanor changed when the Browns picked Manziel. He looked disgusted and disappointed as hell. He never came back out of that funk. He knew he wouldn't be handled right in Cleveland. What he didn't know was Johnny wouldn't handle anything right either.
