Because, with a new coach, new GM/whatever Sashi is, new QB, new systems, and many new players it's pointless to keeping harping on the past and what's happened before with those different people.

also, because you seem like the kind of person that would complain no matter what. You're one of those people that are miserable with anything going on with the team, and you keep putting that misery out there so people will join you.

We added a guy who could be a huge difference maker.

This kid has both speed and quicks, and great feet/change of direction. I think that he will make a lot of DBs look silly as he leaves them in the dust. He tracks the ball well. and seems to have good hands. he also finds the end zone .... a lot.

I was really down on this front office, but they are definitely growing on me ..... a lot!

Again you believe there is nothing to complainn about? You really enjoy how the team plays?

Also, I caught all KINDS of hell not all that long ago for being too POSITIVE. I bought in 100% when Holmgren came to town. I liked Heckert. I liked Shurmur. Ask Vers. I took more crap than anyone those years. So sue me for not being happy about the state of this franchise. I've been a Browns fan since 1967. I've EARNED the right to be pissed about how this team is.

And my point is... why does that matter right now?

It's all new. The only thing that's truly the same is Haslam (legit gripe there).

There's no point in continuing to harp on what the last regimes did. They're gone.

Perhaps you're right and he will be a difference maker. I keep hearing about suspect hands and everyone pretty much said he can't run routes. At ALL. But if he's a difference maker than I will be very happy. When I actually see it. I HOPE that our coaching staff had alot to do with the pick. That they saw enough they can work with. If it was simply numbers and 40 times then......

And when these guys actually PRODUCE something THEN it has changed. Until I actually SEE on the field of play a quality football team it's the same old same old. So far they have amassed a bunch of picks next year and some later round picks this year. That means nothing. We still don't have a QB or RB or RT or center. No pass rush. Etc etc. Value means nothing it's the players you take that do. They have to actually produce STUD football players. Until they DO I have nothing to be positive about. It's all words and BS.
