looks as if we are not taking ANY character/motivational risks ... it's either high-upside talent risks or over achievers

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Does anyone else think that the NFL thought to themselves this year, "How do we make the draft even more unwatchable? Draft parties and former players live streams!"

Remember when the NFL draft was just 2 days and wasn't a circus?

Better that than a team full of Gordon/Manziel types.

WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM

Hue Jackson runs the ball just about half the time. I think the last two years in the Nati it was 48/52% run pass. We will run the ball as much as we pass it.

Not that I like the pick, but I'd like for us to be doing what the Raiders did (moving up for guys that have dropped).

That said, I'm happy with the draft. Judging only by the reactions on this board and the talking heads, it seems our selections are getting weaker as we get further into the draft, but I'll happily take that over the opposite (whiffing on high picks like farmers drafts).

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

He was one of the sleepers I liked. A little tentative at times last season compared to previously, but he played the whole year with a broken collarbone....as a safety.

Wow! Now that is tough.

And yet another stellar prediction by me. Okay, so I'm FOS, but you guys knew that, din'tcha? LOL.

Lasco, Scooby, the Harvard TE,Jalen Mils, or Matakevich are my faves for the next couple Browns picks.

Seth Devalve
School: Princeton
Position: TE

Height: 6-2.5
Weight: 248
40: 4.71

Bio: Three-year starter limited to two games last season. Career totals of 49 receptions, 527 yards and 4 TDs came during his junior season. Saw action at receiver early in his career.

Positive: Consistent hand catcher with terrific size/speed numbers. Extends his hands to make receptions away from his frame, displays solid eye/hand coordination and gets up high to win out for contested passes. Takes a big hit but holds onto the throw.

Negative: Displays marginal quickness and does not play to his 40 time.

Analysis: On paper Devalve possesses the measurables to play at the next level and flashes skill on occasion but is coming off an injury-plagued campaign . He needs to get his game back on track and quickly produce this summer to have any chance of making a practice squad.

We've drafted a lot of athletic kids. Other than Seth, they've all been from power 5 schools.

Yes, we seem to want kids with good speed, athleticism, and high motors.
