Big 12 lineman of the year. Higher rated pass protection rating of any tackle in the draft. I think he will move inside to OG.

Wow, 4 WR and a TE. Higgins is a value pick. Caldwell confuses me - small dude, surprised he was even drafted. Edit: here are some highlights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3wAreVvqEE

Caldwell is the 2nd guy we drafted that CBS doesn't even have a profile for. Prisco gave us an F for the Higgins pick. Makes me feel even better about that pick.

Peace After a certain point, the guys that are there probably don't offer anything much above what we already have. If we can get more from our passing game, which it seems we intend to, that should open up the run game... as should RG3.

I saw us mocked Gronkowski's brother, a FB, a lot with our 7th pick. Wonder if that will actually happen?

No idea. lol Definitely not a measurables guy at 5'9". Slot guy, perhaps special teamer. Bottom of the 5th you're grabbing role players, mostly.

Works for me!

I said earlier that we addressed our 2 biggest weaknesses, pass rush and receiver .... and I think that we have really done so with WR .... but we have also nicely addressed the OL with Coleman and Drango.
I was very, very worried about the OL, but we added Bailey in free agency, and now have added a couple of guys who look like they can play, in Coleman and Drango.
We are also well situated to move up, if necessary, in next year's draft, if RG3 and/or Kessler do not work out. We have 2 firsts and 2 seconds, plus an extra second in 2018 to use if we need to move up. If RG3 and/or Kessler are the answer at QB, then we have a huge opportunity to add talent in next year's draft.

Gonna be some camp competition for OL. Better than what farmer gave us 2 years ago where we had absolutely ZERO backup OL. No wonder manziel needed drugs after preseason.

It depends on your scheme. If you're running a power scheme you want massive guys. If you're running a ZBS, obviously you don't want some behemoth.

Dan Fike was like 6'7". Drango has long enough arms to play OT (big reason why even taller OL move inside) ...he just simply not very athletic.

I think he could be a really good OG. Like the pick.
Bailey/Coleman/Drango giving me hope that Erving won't see the field unless he actually earns it/improves a ton this season.

He bodies well, he has hands, he has made steady improvement running routes, tremendous redzone threat.

So if you're Gabriel, Hardline, or Hawkins ... what are you thinking right now
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Biggest knock on him was that he was a bean pole, but he has bulked up some.

Maybe try Caldwell as a punt returner? I'd imagine he's going to have contribute on STs to make the squad.

IMO I feel we are in a better position with these draft picks than in the previous few years because we have a more capable coaching staff that can mold and teach our new players. The kids we drafted have talent and potential and our coaches can hopefully bring it to fruition.

I like every pick we made with the exception of Kessler and Louis ... they seemed like HUGE reaches to me

We created some major compeititon at LB and DE. We have tremendous OL compeititon for 3 spots. WE have crazy competition at receiver now. I think Safety is also gonna be a real fight between cooper, Poyer, Kendred, Caldwell. Hell i could see us using an extra linebacker in a safety role as well under Horton.

It looks like we traded our 7th to Miami.

BOoooo, Cowboys took Darius Jackson. So Taylor, a CB who has struggled in a starting role, for our 7th. Sounds like trading a body for a body.
