I doubt he'd clear waivers to get to the practice squad, so that idea is out. You don't take that kind of gamble on a 3rd round pick...

It will be interesting to see what winds up happening.
I suspect that McCown will be traded for a late round or conditional pick.
We couldn't even get a conditional pick for Josh. It's like why trade in that ole beat up pickup truck for a few bucks when it's worth more sitting in the barn to use once in a while in a pinch.
