Anybody see the new ending? I caught it by accident. Freaking great! It brought a wide smile to my face.

I was watching ESPN earlier today and they had a guy working the Cleveland ESPN location on talking about the Indians win streak. The Sportscenter guy asked why the attendance has been low, the Cleveland rep responded, "AS good as the Indians are, most of Cleveland has been re-watching Game 7 off their DVR every night." I laughed, but it's true.

I did see the new ending, evidently the original was set up for the new ending... because they did the original and then followed a lot of the same people through the finals, had video of them watching Game 7, had video of them at the parade, etc.. Interesting.

Are you insinuating the NBA is fixed? tongue
Are you really Ayesha Curry?

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Nope. I'm insinuating that they did it in hopes that Cleveland would win and on the off chance that they did, they followed the same guys around.. nothing more, nothing less.

Is the new version visible online?

Could I have just Googled this myself?

What narrative am I using right now?

Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Wonder if they've updated the Netflix version yet.

WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM
my two cents...

As of a few seconds ago, it's still the old version.

I didn't watch it when it originally aired. I saw it for the first time with the new ending. Pretty good. Brought up painful memories. I will admit, I totally do not remember the 95 world series. Maybe it was just less painful since it was the first time in my life I saw the Indians in the world series.

It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

I remember, but I really think people were caught up in the euphoria of the Indians actually even being in the playoffs. to go 41 years without an appearance is pretty remarkable. For all the ragging people do on the Browns, that stretch by the Indians is arguably the worst stretch by any pro team, ever.

I think the other thing with that '95 team was that we all felt like this was the start of a great run, and that we would be back. The thing that upsets me the most about that series was that the home field was alternating, so despite the Indians being 10 games better than Atlanta, the Braves got home field, and back then the AL and NL had separate umpiring crews and oh did that make a big difference in that series, with those Atlanta pitchers.

'97 was such a different feel. For me personally it was a crazy time in my life. First girlfriend, sophmore in high school. Had my first real job. It like all happened in that month of October.

I'll never forget being at the Ignatius/McKinley game at Fawcett Stadium with my grandfather and cousins when Omar Vizquel ran that squeeze play against Baltimore and the whole stadium erupted. The players on the field were standing around between plays wondering what was going on hahaha.

I thought the doc was ok, just could have been presented better. Just seemed too much like a textbook. One event after another with no creativity. Was more like a true doc and not one of these classic 30 for 30 which is known for such awesome presentation.
